Alcibades |

Is there an opportunity to run to the entrance? If there is a will do that until the opening.
If not i will double move.
Either way i would like to know what information that i now gain. Be it visual or auditory.
Perception: 3d6 + 5 ⇒ (4, 5, 1) + 5 = 15
If i see anything i would like to try to identify it:
Knowledge Nature: 3d6 + 7 ⇒ (1, 3, 4) + 7 = 15
Knowledge Arcana: 3d6 + 7 ⇒ (4, 1, 2) + 7 = 14
If there are humans i would like to identify them. Town guards, hell knights, regular citizens what have you. Knowledge Local: 3d6 + 11 ⇒ (3, 4, 6) + 11 = 24
Once i get up near the opening i will make a stealth check...This may not happen until next round. 3d6 + 1 ⇒ (3, 5, 5) + 1 = 14

ROUND 2!
As i understand it. Kadin and Alcibades are at the end of the tunnel. Aaron and Dakaar are 70' Away sneaking. Aya, David, and the kid are at about the same place. When you get to the chamber you will see it is a large cesspool area. It is about 40 feet wide where you enter. It opens up to 50' as it moves south before tapering back to 40' at the far end. From north to south is about 40'. You have entered from the north. there are two south passages and one to both the east and west. Sewage flows along all 4 of these tunnels. You see 3 bloody and battered Armingers on the floor. Around them are what look at first like 3 teiflings, but then you see the chucks of flesh missing from their bodies and smell the sweet stink of death on them. Aya you may wish to make a knowledge religion check when you get within line of sight.

Aaron, seeing his allies rush ahead, breaks into a run to get behind Kadin and Alcibades.

Alcibades |

Knowledge Religion: 3d6 + 7 ⇒ (1, 5, 3) + 7 = 16
Do they seem to have noticed Kadin and I?
Alcibades chuckles to himself thinking look who i ended up next too. She thinks more like me then she would care to admitt.
If they notice me i call out we seem to have some rotting tieflings to deal with. If my knowledge religion role tells me something more i relay that.
Either way i ready a breath weapon. I will use it if they start to advance on us. I will use a cone or line whichever will hit more of them.
Knowledge Local: 3d6 + 11 ⇒ (5, 3, 4) + 11 = 23
This check is to see if i know anything about the armiger's (assuming you meant armigers...noblemen...if not i don't know what it means .... i ddn't know what armiger meant either till i looked it up) or the house they are from. Any informaton on the house's general reputation and if Dakaar and or myself have done business with them. (If you remember my back story i keep a book of all the jobs that have been done.)

XperimentalDM |

Knowledge Nobility: (For the same think i roled knowledge local... i realized it was probablly more appropriate) 3d6+7
I also from where i am see if i can see anything that looks like the symbol. Perception 3d6+5
I though it was Armingers, though I may have misspelled. They are the hellknight trainees.

Dakaar |

If it looks like Kadin and I have been spotted. I call out "Three Zombies!" to the party. If we have not been spotted i remain quiet. Either way keeping ready to unlease my breath if the zombies approach.
If Alcibaldes is spotted (and thus I hear him yelling its zombies) theres not much benefit to sneaking around at this point, so I would run up to meet Alcibaldes, grabbing a couple of shuriken from my belt. Otherwise, I keep moving towards Kadin and Alcibades while sticking to the shadows.

Kadin |

Assuming that I read the zombies as evil, I have determined that I want to a.) get through this room and b.) assess the health state of the armingers. For both of these things, the tiefling zombies must die. I thus communicate my intentions to my party members, and, assuming they have no objections, move so that I am in the second X on the first row under me and attack the demon that I am catty-corner to.
Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
If that hits...
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Ichabod Crow |
Bardic Knowledge (in place of religion): 3d6 + 3 ⇒ (6, 3, 2) + 3 = 14
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
Damage:1d8 + 0 ⇒ (3) + 0 = 3
I try to judge the man's profession/class from his dress, belongings, and proficiency with a weapon. "Judging solely by your unsolicited assistance, you seem to be a decent fellow. What brings you to this part of town?"

1d4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
1d4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
The man is struck twice more. You know from your check that he is a cleric of Iomedae. A LG deity who is called the Inheritor of Aroden by some. The goddesses church is tolerated, but closely watched and restricted.
"I'm looking for some people."
1d20 ⇒ 14
1d8 ⇒ 3
He takes a step back after striking the creature again. He seems fairly hurt, but so does the creature.

XperimentalDM |

Kadin the zombie responds to your attack
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18 hit?
1d6 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
The others Turn to face the entrance.
Aya is now behind Alcibades (who presumably yelled to the others after Kadin Stepped up, yes Zombies are evil). The kid you are escorting hovers behind all of you. Dakaar's double move allows him to catch up to the rest of the group. David is also lagging behind mostly due to his stubby Gnome legs.
ROUND 3
Aaron moves forward to assist Kadin and attacks the same Zombie.
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
The Zombie 1 is looking bad.

XperimentalDM |

Um... What's an arminger?
Alcibades was correct it is Armiger and they are the hellknights in training.

XperimentalDM |

a.) I lied before. i should have had a +4 to my roll. I'm trying to remember all the numbers. So my attack was supposed to be a 13.
b.) Yes, 18 hits (my AC = 17). This brings me down past half my hit points, so what does this mean? (Hasn't happened to me yet)
It means you are "bloodied". Basically it's not important unless you get crit'ed. You are starting to show that you are injured and any critical hit against you that is confirmed will deal wound damage rather than double damage to your vitality.

Alcibades |

Are these the Armigers from before or a different set? I line up to get the most out of my breath weapon without hitting anyone in the group.
Breath Weapon Fire Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1
Reflex DC 16 for half.
I have identified the zombies. What does my character fairly know about zombies? I would like to tell my group about their resitance to certain things but don't know if my character would know that. I tried to look into what you know at certain roles and wasn't sure. OK i looked them up better this time....In many cases, you can use this skill to identify monsters and their special powers or vulnerabilities. In general, the DC of such a check equals 10 + the monster’s CR. For common monsters, such as goblins, the DC of this check equals 5 + the monster’s CR. For particularly rare monsters, such as the tarrasque, the DC of this check equals 15 + the monster’s CR or more. A successful check allows you to remember a bit of useful information about that monster. For every 5 points by which your check result exceeds the DC, you recall another piece of useful information. Alcibaes Relays what he finds out. (John Probablly knows more then he should.)
I tell Aya, "Throw a bottle of oil on one of the closer ones. Let's watch this ambomination burn!"

XperimentalDM |

** spoiler omitted **
You're new ally seems like he was going to do something else, but then jumps forward at the opportunity you have given him. "It would seem there is hope yet."
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
1d8 ⇒ 4

XperimentalDM |

What weapons did / do the armigers have?
They seem to be carrying crossbows and longswords

XperimentalDM |

Okay, I know Aya is next, but regardless, I plan to attack the zombie.
Attack: 1d20+4
Damage: 1d8+1
Your attack takes down the first zombie, but two remain undamaged.

sorry guys, got a lot of assignments due today. I'm in school so I don't have my sheet with me. Hope this will suffice.
I will follow Alch's suggestion. If anyone looks like their coming at me, I'll move to let the fighters ahead. Either way I'll back up after throwing the oil.
And if I"m not around for my next turn, assuming a zombie isn't gnoshing upon my brains, I'll be healing Kadin.

Dakaar |

If possible, I make a 5 foot adjustment and attack a zombie twice with my fists.
Flurry Attack:1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Flurry Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Flurry Attack:1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
Flurry Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Failing that, I use my above flurry to throw two shuriken:(both attacks use dex and a -1 penalty so it should be the same roll)
Wuss Star Damage: 1d2 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Wuss Star Damage: 1d2 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Your slash cuts deeply into the shadowbeast. Its inky black blood spills from the gash.
It makes one final strike at you,
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
before attempting to move past the two of you .Drawing an attack of op from each of you.
The stranger stabs out as it passes.
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23
1d8 ⇒ 3
Connecting with his sword, yet the beast continues on slowly.

XperimentalDM |

Aya's oil flask connects the "lead zombie", It shambles toward Aaron. Dakaar's shriuken hit but seem to have little effect. Presumably David Acid splashes the "lead zombie" as well hitting it. Alcibades moves forward and catches both zombies in his cone of fire. Zombie 3 moves towards Alcibades.
ROUND 4
Order is
Aaron
Aya
Kadin
Morosino
Zombie 2
Dakaar
"David"
Alcibades
Zombie 3
Aaron takes a swing at the zombie who stepped towards him.
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
And cuts it down.

Is that a level 1 into a Cure light, or a channel energy(which will heal everyone alive 1d6. You have 4 left for the day)?

Alcibades |

I suggest the 1d6 for everyone i think a lot of people could use some health. (I assume she can tell that people are looking a little beat up.
Are you going to role the damage from the oiling catching fire?
It is 1d6 the first round and 1d6 the next round. If you want the person lighting it on fire to role then... Oil Burning damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3 I guess i would assume i role it or the person throwing the oil (Aya in this case). Just trying to keep things moving.
Kill the Zombies before Sunday!

Dakaar |

After Kadin, I will move (if possible) to flank the zombie across from kadin.
I will then (perhaps foolishly!) perform a trip action if i was able to get into position with my move.

Melee Touch Attack

1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19

For my action, I'll drop my sword, pull out my short bow and attack:
Attack:1d20 + 0 ⇒ (11) + 0 = 11
Damage:1d6 + 0 ⇒ (6) + 0 = 6

The man pursues and swings again at the shadowbeast,
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18
1d8 ⇒ 2
And connects, the beast shudders and collapses. It begins to loose form and turn into an inky liquid.
A runs into the ally, "Arael the Dottari are coming!"
The half-elven man looks at you "Perhaps we should go over the wall? Then we can see about patching ourselves up."

Ichabod Crow |
If I think I have enough time, I'll cast a detect magic contrip. (I want to notice if there's anything magical about either the place that the thieflings disapeared, the coin I found, or the gentlemen I've run into.) If I don't have time, "oh well."
What does this new individual look like? (Your note above was missing at least 1 word... "a [blank] runs into the ally". Also, do I know anything about the Dottari?
Knowledge Local (if it applies): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16
