Yep, sorry busy day. Give me five minutes
Sapphire screams in anger at the man before her and, momentarily forgetting her disciplined training, simply uses her heavy blade like a hatchet, cutting the man roughly down.
Well done! Nadya yells. If any more come let's be ready! Hatch says there are barracks beyond those doors, we don't know how many more there could be!
Hatch himself doesn't say anything but you assume he is hovering around invisibly somewhere out of trouble.

Elleross Oronar |

Elleross looks around him at the clear courtyard and seeing the sleds an idea comes to him.
Nasrin, sapphire, Greyston grab one of the sleds. We can load it up with alchemists fire and any other flammables we may have. We light it and we shove it into the pit, when it hits hopefully it will explode. he says as he begins pulling out vials of alchemists fire.
Corum, keep healing yourself and then you can have the pleasure of launching it into the pit
I will put 2 vials of it into the sled along with the tangle burn bag j. Hopefully this will make a hell of a mess :) are we still in rounds j? This will probably take three to four rounds to do

Sapphire |

Much as I want to help I can't touch anything aside from my sword right now lest the energy currently suffusing my hands destroys it! cautions Sapphire apologetically.
I have one more vial of fire if you think you need it, Corum also has lamp oil in his pack. Whatever else let's just make sure that sled goes down there as quickly as possible!

Nasrin |

Nasrin lends her strength to shoving the sled over while the eagle continues to work on the guard.

As soon as the others have finished loading up one of the sleds. Corum stands on and smili g wickedly he adds a flask of lamp oil to the pile.
he pushes the sled across the floor untul it teeters on the brink. Leani g over he leers down at the troll and says.
Wake up. Time to die!"
He releases his grip on the makeshift bomb and steps aeay as it falls on top of the troll and erupts with a tremendous explosion. Corum stands there watching the troll burn and laughs all the while.

GM-JZ |

The fire in the hole takes hold almost immediately as the wood and metal mass of the sled crashes down on the trapped troll.
It dies cursing Corum for a coward as the flames eat away at it's cold flesh.
Shortly after, the pit magically raises to ground level. Leaving the burning destruction of the sled blocking the door to the inner tower.
Combat Over

Corum Mac Roth |

Corum smiles as he watches the troll burn. He spits on the ahses then turns to the others. "I hate trolls."
He looks at the smouldering pile blocking the door then says. "We need to move that but it is too hot."

Elleross Oronar |

Elleross looks on as the results of his handy work rise up out of the earth.
The blistered corpse of the troll is barely recogniseable amidst the wreckage of the sled.
that worked a little too well I think, but we could take no more chances with that troll. he says covering his face with his sleeve as the smell of seared flesh wafts over him.
we could use the other sled Corum. Let's see if we can use it to move the wreckage out of the way, at least enough for us to clear the doors he suggests looking across at the other sled.
if that is possible j then I would say Corum will use the sled to push the wreckage away and we take a look at these doors
Whilst we are waiting for the pit to end can we check the guards for anything of use?

Nasrin |

Nasrin points up one of the slides. "Can someone get up there?"
While the wreck is killing the troll is it ok if Nasrin unharnesses the other dogs? Also, a CLW for Jagar! CLW: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

"Let's get this cleared quickly, no other guard have showed up but they could be fortifying." Greyston then takes out a vial and drinks it trying to heal the rest of wounds.

He searches the bodies of the fallen soldiers to see if they have anything of use.

Elleross Oronar |

Shaking his head Elleross looks at the injured warrior and says
thank you Corum but you need it more than me. Drink your last potion we need you at your best he says refusing the potion.
i have five vials of the curative left. Take two of them. You will need them he says as he pulls the vials out of his pack
The warrior nods and tucks them away before throwing his might behind the sled.
let's see if we can get into this tower.
We need to be ready, there must be soldiers on the other side. he says as he takes out a scroll hatch? Is there any way for you to scout inside for us? he asks the sprite, not even sure if he is there.
taking out a scroll of colour spray j
I am assuming Corum did not drink the potion I put on the ground next to him.
That makes my total of potions 5. I am giving 2 to Corum, has everyone else got at least one potion?

Corum Mac Roth |

I had 3 potions and drank 2. So with the one Elleriss gave me I have 2 left.
"Thanks.
Corum tucks the potion into his pocket.. "If there are soldiers in there then bring them on."
He moves to the ice door and attampts to open it a crack to peek through.

Corum sways back from the gap in the door and yanks the bolt from his leg and swears. He motions Greyston over. "Grey. Chuck a bomb in there. Let's shake the buggers up. Nas will those dogs run in there and attack? It may give us enough distraction to get into them."
He looks around the room for a table for something to used as mobile cover.

She tries to remember if hatch said there was another way in the front.

GM-JZ |

The man Corum targets struggles desperately to at once free himself of the nuisance dog before him and clear the action of the crossbow he holds in both hands. The warrior strides up and though the dog is somewhat in the way, his axe blade still comes down cleanly to shuck into the man's skull and he drops without a sound.
Sapphire, the interior map above shows the entire layout of the tower as provided by Hatch. There is no other way in this section besides a difficult (probably impossible) climb check up the chute and along the battlements to the interior.

Elleross Oronar |

More and more of the guards pour out of the barracks beyond the icicle door until this second chamber is as much of a killing ground as the first.
One of the guards fires a crossbow that plants a bolt in the chest of the head dog whilst his comrade then draws a blade and brings it down on the dog's back, finishing it. A second bolt slams home, this time in the shoulder of the second dog who yelps in pain.
A hail of bolts then rains down on the breach but none others can find their mark. A female sergeant, shouting orders to her men to hold the line and drive the insurgents back fires at Corum but is unable to hit him as he takes cover pressed against the wall.
Round 2 - Heroes

Corum Mac Roth |

Corum drives his axe into the face of the soldier like a spear. Blood sprays onto the wall as he falls.
Crossbow bolts thud into the wall nearby and he laughs. One more soldier bars their way into the room. Corum engages him. He snarls at the soldiers as he confronts the man.

Not sure if the sled dog is going to keep attacking, but I need to cover Elleross ;)

One of the men rushes up beside Elleros and stabs at the old wizard, slicing deeply into his side. Before he is able to retreat, the pool before him bubbles and steams and then a creature, vaguely humanoid, but entirely composed of steaming water rises up. Aghast, Elleros is unable to defend himself as it slams into him.
Round 3- Heroes

Corum Mac Roth |

Corum watches Elleross being attacked by two foes. He feels the rage within him swell like a flood. He allows it to consume him as he shouts "Elleross, get out of there."
The anger burns within him like an inferno, his friends are beset by foes and he must turn the tide. Abandoning any regard form his own safety he roars a challenge and charges the soldier who stabbed his friend. He hits him like a storm, his axe glittering as it describes a silver arc of death.
