Ith, could I get an idea of distances here? How far away are they? It sounds like the mites are adjacent to the woman?

Sekhemre gives a malicious grin, moves forward 30', and throws a bomb at the elf (which will hopefully catch both mites as well, based on the room description?).

Sorry- I should have mentioned that above. They are about 125 feet away from you all at the moment. This room is quite large (the center area is 30 wide of clear space with tables making the border of that clear space.) I'll get a map up tomorrow after work.
For now you have time to move in (run action is a possibility) or prepare. Bows and some spells might manage an attack from where you are.

Grand Lodge

Here's the map: Ballroom

I want to make sure people can actually see it to avoid mix ups during a critical moment.
Best solution- use that map to sketch out the room on graph paper and track the movements and stuff.
Otherwise- Make sure you can at least see the posted copy of the map for grid purposes. If you can't see photobucket from work or wherever you post, let me know and I can email you a copy of the jpg.

I don't plan on reposting the map round by round unless I need to clear things up.

-You can ignore all the guys with red boxes around them. They are passed out or too intoxicated to interfere.

-There are enough candlelit chandeliers and torches to consider the room to be mostly lit. Let's say the area outside the ring of tables is shadowy (rows 4 and 13 in the main area of the ballroom) which will allow for stealth/grant concealment. Of course be aware that opponents with darkvision negate the possibility of using dim light for stealth or concealment.

-This room rises to a height of 25 feet.

Sekhemre and Dakram can go now.

Scarab Sages

Male Elf Alchemist (Beastmorph) 3

*sigh* well that was a waste of a perfectly good post :-(

I don't suppose I can reserve the right to use it for my first actual non-movement action?

Sekhemre will wordlessly down his mutagen, causing his form to warp, twist, and elongate in a rather disturbing fashion (motivating dexterity, so I am currently AC 24), and move 30' straight ahead into the room...

Grand Lodge

No problem. Use those rolls once you are close enough to take that action.

Grand Lodge

With Sekhemre's charge the mites both shake off their stupor and race to meet him shouting gibberish and snapping their jaws. Midway they stop and as if seized by violent seizures begin to stamp and stare daggers at the two closest pathfinders.

The elf continues to rise from her throne until her feet leave the ground and she glides forward feet trailing just above the tiles with her back arched. She unfurls a scroll and begins reciting words of power in an unfamiliar language. Finally she drops the scroll and lets it flutter to the floor while she grasps a blackened silver symbol around her neck and reaches out to lay a hand on one of the mites. You might not be able to understand the language, but the closing invocation to "LAMASHTU!" was unmistakable. As her linen shift blows around you can see that the woman is wearing an armored breastplate.

Mites move forward to AA7 and Z9.
The lady flies to BB8 and touches the mite in AA7.
Sekhemre and Kayluss: Will saves DC 10

Sekhemre barely has time to recoil in revulsion before he blinks and the elven priestess is driving her rapier at him. He easily bats it aside, but for a moment he isn't sure what just happened. Did he really just see that?
For the record, no one else did. She simply charged him with her rapier. No tentacle face.
Sek is immune to this effect for 1 hour.

His mind racing to explain what just happened the alchemist tries to put the pieces together.

Spoiler:
Though she seems to be fully elven, something is clearly wrong about the woman. Her limbs are too long, her form too tall and gaunt, her fingers significantly longer than they should be. From what Torvic and the others have said she can track them in their dreams and take control of everything there. Maybe- did she just try to force a waking nightmare on you? She's an elf, but not just an elf. You've read stories of outsiders from other planes breeding with humans- like tieflings. Maybe this woman is something like that. It's a short spear

Grand Lodge

Dakram edges back into the shadows along the outer wall putting a table between him and the priestess at the same time. From there he hurls a dagger at the woman, but it flies wide.

Kayluss on the other hand throws his short spear directly into the chest of one of the mites flanking Sekhemre. It buries itself up to the shaft and hangs there quivering while the little blue man looks down at it in astonishment before toppling over twitching. His companion continues to scream from the hideous burns covering it from head to toe, but curiously one of his screams transforms into a yawn at the last second and he slumps to the floor mid-snore.

The lady hesitates as if reassessing the situation, then steps back grasping her blackened amulet and begins gesturing wildly with her rapier. Her eyes dart around madly and her lips curl back more than they rightly should. Spittle flies from her mouth as she calls down curses upon you. "And when I stalk through the darkest hours of your dreams, you shall know me and you shall live and breathe fear! As I flay the skin from your living bones and feed it to you, you shall thank me and beg The Mother's release, but it shall not be granted! Alie double moves into the room, trying to determine where her magic might be most effective.

Grand Lodge

Alie rushes into the room as fast as her short legs can move. Khedon finishes his summoning and readies another spell. The celestial hound he called appears in a flash of light and immediately snaps at one of the elven woman's legs. She sidesteps it with ease. Wadi also prepares another evocation and waits for the moment to strike. Kayluss drives in slashing downward at Lady Morilaeth. His blade bites into her shoulder skips across the breastplate and tears a long gash down her thigh. As fast as his blade passes through her flesh it nearly seals up again in its wake. In the end she is left with a long cut down her thigh, but it is much more shallow that such a grievous wound should have been. She focuses on Kayluss and smiles madly as another dagger from Dakram whizzes past her. She opens her mouth to say something, but at that instant Sekhemre's bomb crashes into her midsection and engulfs her in roaring flames. The linen shifts burn away like cobwebs in the intense heat and the woman screams out in pain... or ecstasy(?) before the fire burns out in a flash revealing her tall gaunt form in the breast plate and pale leather shorts, her skin charred and blackened, hair burned away. She staggers away from the Andoran warrior, black skin already flaking away to reveal healthy pale white skin beneath. New glossy black hair begins to sprout from her scalp and the cut on her leg continues to heal. Without a word she grasps her silver amulet and calls on her god...

Wadi hurls a ray of fire at her, but it roars past without connecting.

At that point both readied actions have been triggered.

I'm including the Hound's action now, as it will go at Khedon's old initiative before disappearing. If Kayluss has engaged the 'Lady' in melee, Khedon will order the Hound to "Flank" in Celestial

Hound Bite 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14 - possibly +2 from Flank
Looks like a possible hit, so damage is 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6, including Smite
Finally, Trip attempt if hit 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10 - possibly +2 from Flank

Ah yes, I'd forgotten that Khedon's regular action will come before Morilaeth gets her action.

Khedon will move into appropiate position so he can cast Color Spray without striking other party members - DC 15

With everyone surrounding the evil lady, Alie doesn't see an opening to fire her acid splash yet. She continues to move forward looking for her opportunity.

DM, I don't suppose we could get an updated map, could we?

***Round 4 action:***

With Kayluss in combat with the Elf, Sekhemre realises that targeting her directly would be a bad idea. Therefore, he goes for a 'splash damage' attack, targeting a square next to her (so that he misses Kayluss) 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17 (Vs AC5) 4 Fire damage, DC 14 Reflex save for half.

"Kayluss, normal weapons don't seem to be having their usual effect on her. Hang back so we can firebomb her into a crisp!"

Assuming Kayluss does not close with her...

***Round 5 action:***

Will Save: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (13) - 2 = 11

Sekhemre grimaces in pain as negative energy washes over him, but grits his teeth, and lobs another bomb at the Elf, attempting to fry her!

1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16 (touch)

1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 (fire damage)
