Thanks! I hope I can do well!
By the way, GM, if you do happen to roll any save for me I have an ability that allows me to add my cha bonus to saves a limited number of times, so for any fort or will save that seems important I will certainly do so

@felicia that's fine, and feel free to remind me as well
Woot askra is back! Sorry y'all, at work now and no computer :( I'll post later tonight when I return home.

Felicia LaFou |

Ah sweet! I was hoping I'd run into you somewhere again! And look at that, youre still a slayer and im still a swashkitty xD

TheRiverOcean |

Yes, sorry I just realized how stupid it is to have you guys do AoOs. It really screws up the turns. We'll be out of combat now so don't worry about it.
Also, for future reference I prefer to have turns go basically monsters->players->monsters->players since this way everyone doesn't have to wait a few days for one pc to post, then another few days for the next pc to post. Does that make sense?

TheRiverOcean |

BoB I'm so sorry about those rolls. holy shoot. For those keeping track that's SEVEN dex damage he took. Incredible. Definitely a fight worth leveling in my eyes!

Felicia LaFou |

Ooh this is awesome. Felicia was seriously gimped waiting on slashing grace at lvl 3, so now I have it and my new deeds. I'm now a seerious melee contender.
-Posted with Wayfinder

Felicia LaFou |

so I gather your rule is choose between a Roll: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 or Avg +1?
I guess I'll take the avg+1, giving 7 total.

Felicia LaFou |

Ok, so, leveling complete I think. Took Slashing Grace So that now my finesse applies to my Falcata, as does my DEX to it's Damage!
GM TRO, Please note that my initiative bonus has gone up by two if you roll that. Also, I'd appreciate a heads up anytime we're up against something that doesn't take precision damage, as I get some of that with every strike :3
Oh and so that Eveyone knows, I don't get a huge number of skill points every level, but my primary focus is to intimidate because I get a free one of those with every hit. I'll put secondary's on Perception to augment my scent ability, acrobatics because I'm good at it, and either of my class knowledge skills if they're needed.

TheRiverOcean |

Lesser restoration is robably gonna be your best bet. Unless someone knows of a powerful Androffan medical device located in the ruins ;)
@BoB @Felicia Actually I prefer HP average +1 instead of rolling!
@Felicia, how did it go up by two!?

Felicia LaFou |

Swashbuckler Initiative (Ex): At 3rd level, while the swashbuckler has at least 1 panache point, she gains a +2 bonus on initiative checks.
:3 levels 3, 7, 11, and 15 are big for me because of panache deeds that I unlock.

By the bye, are there any other house rules you employ that I should know about? And I never asked whether we should begin with more or less than our class gold in gear.

Jean Antonio |

@GM, I wonder... Jean can search for that, but let's see how to roleplay it..

TheRiverOcean |

@jean if only there was a computer terminal somewhere that Fijit was using a few minutes ago. If only!!!!

Jean Antonio |

LOL hopefully that Perception roll won't be needed.
Anyway, I took the Dimensional Slide exploit. Also, I now have Craft Wondrous Items ;)

Askra Taw |

Sorry for delay. Leveling up now if I can
Okay.
Change log:
+1 Will save
+ 9 HP (half + 1 = 6) + 1 FC, + 2 Con.
Sneak Attack
Feat: Hurtful
Skills: Ranks in Acrobatics, Bluff, Heal, Intimidate, Perception, Stealth, Survival, Sense Motive

TheRiverOcean |

@kaad you can always look back in the posts, if not, be as accurate as possible ;) a wise GM once forbade me from using an automatic program. He said if you had to do all the works yourself you'll understand the game and your character much butter. He was right ;)
@fijit, I'm sure the party members would appreciate it if you would remember to use the wand of CLW on them when they need it ;^.^

Kaad |

I agree. Hero lab helps me plan though. I can quickly make several versions of a character build that I am interested in. I do miss the old paper character sheets though. Or the binder of notebook characters I used to keep. Memories.

TheRiverOcean |

Ah, well Everyone please be more direct if you need a hit of CLW!

Kaad |

I'm enjoying the new addition and the fight that we just had, but I'm confused about where I am supposed to be to get poison cured and then move back into bloody hallway? Also, weren't we introduced to the new characters?

TheRiverOcean |

@Kaad, There are several options for this.
1. Hole up in the mountain and rest until your stats have recovered (Which BoB had hilarious started doing)
2. Return to town and rest at the Foundry Tavern
3. Return to town and have someone heal you
4. Have your party healer fix you
5. Listen to Jean and follow her to some sort of healing room in the cave
I don't understand your second question.. You were sort of introduced? It's really up to your character how they would like to introduce themselves to the new strangers. Felicia has been asking where she is, and what's going on. BoB stated that he was sent from Dolga, it's Kaad's business what he says to them. The only stipulation is that they are party members now and you must all work together, flavor it and interact how you wish.

TheRiverOcean |

Phew! About everyone has posted so we can move on, but unfortunately I'm on a short trip so I can't edit the map to show what's next! T.T Ishould be able to update tomorrow morning my time, if not the next day ;) happy Friday!

Jean Antonio |

Rolling a 1 with all those penalties... XD

TheRiverOcean |

@RELAS I accidentally posted the mace damage twice! please subtract 9 damage!! You should still be up!
@jean, that was the lowerst roll ever haha.

Felicia LaFou |

I'll post tomorrow, sorry if I've delayed

TheRiverOcean |

@Felicia, anytime, don't leave the party hanging, they're gonna need the extra firepower!
@Askra, eayh, it's that enemy, plus I've taken the liberty of adding a template or two. Good luck ;)

TheRiverOcean |

@Felicia can you explain your spoiler post:
Parry and Riposte:Opposing Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28
Riposte: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13
damage: 1d8 + 4 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 4 + 3 = 10
Did you mean for the "Opposing Attack" to be the robot's and the Riposte to be your parry check? And the damage is your damage dealt if your parry had been successful?

Felicia LaFou |

No, the robot attacks me with its own roll, I make the first attack to parry (if my roll is higher the attack is negated)
If successful, I basically get an op attack. The latter rolls were that attack.
-Posted with Wayfinder

TheRiverOcean |

@Felicia oohhhh for the previous attack, OKay sounds good, please keep your HP and stats updated!

Felicia LaFou |

Yeah, I can't do that from my phone, but I'll look back as soon as I get to my laptop tomorrow and update.

Felicia LaFou |

I believe it'll just be easier to ask you to read these from my class features, GM. sorry about the confusion!
At 1st level, when an opponent attempts a melee attack against the swashbuckler, the swashbuckler can as an immediate action spend 1 panache point to move 5 feet; doing so grants the swashbuckler a dodge bonus to AC equal to her Charisma modifier (minimum 0) against the triggering attack. This movement doesn't negate the attack, which is still resolved as if the swashbuckler had not moved from the original square. This movement is not a 5-foot step; it provokes attacks of opportunity from creatures other than the one who triggered this deed. The swashbuckler can only perform this deed while wearing light or no armor, and while carrying no heavier than a light load.
Most of my other GM's concede that I must declare the move beforehand, but my character could spot a pitiful attack (one that misses me by a certain amount) and not have to burn the panache or move.
I burn the Panache to parry, the riposte attack is free so long as I have some Panache left.

TheRiverOcean |

@Felicia thanks, I was reading those earlier, I think i get it now!
@Kaad, no, not all doors. All doors that require cards on this level have been opened except for the closet in the previous large room
