I think it'd be good to know everyone's build plan, like feats for combat and such. like melee or ranged, general spells, stuff like that so we have a strategy for combat.

my general plan is an intimidate melee build, smack them with my greatsword, failing that use magic'

Probably sorcerer every level. Concentrate on crowd control and summoning, with a few blasty spells mixed in. Built him to where he can contribute in physical combat as well, if needed.

Not exactly sure what my build strategy us going to look like. I focus on roleplaying my character and let his build flow organically from that. At present, my thoughts are front-line armoured-defender type.

Oh, and as soon as he can get some cybernetics, he's all-in.

- Always go left/right if you don't have a specific direction you want to go in a dungeon etc?

Build-
I'm going to take Unchained Rogue to 3 or 4 most likely. After that I'm going to multiclass into some form of full BAB class, most likely a Fighter. I'm leaning Lore Warden but might go Weapon Master. Basically I want Weapon Training. After that I'm unsure.

As far as Standard Operating Procedure;

Fixer will check doors for traps. If necessary he will pick locks or disarm, then move and allow one of the meatier types to actually open the door.

I'd prefer to roll my Perception but am fine with you rolling for me to speed things up, GM. I would like to roll my own Stealth, however.

I follow the right-hand rule.

Watch order does not matter to me.

As the Stealth character, I believe Fixer will be in the front stealthed and scouting most of the time.

Until he takes Wizard levels, Rowland is willing to take second. After that, he'd like to take first.

GM, lots of game will have all the players' perception checks in the campaign info tab, that way you can just copy/paste when you need perception for nasty surprises. I personally would like a roll for Perception, but certainly don't mind you rolling it.

When Zane would be stealthing a take 10 would be fine.

Perfectly ok with Fixer taking point. I'd like to be 3rd or 4th in marching order.

I'd like the left hand doors, as the right way is always wrong. Lol

For Watch, I'd like last watch. We have six, so should we have 3 2-man watches?

Pasquot will build into the Opening Volley system of murderdeath, and move up to a Large Sized Bastard Sword, hopefully made out of adamantine. His next two levels will be Alchemist, with his MuWar stuff being everything after that.

Zane and Pasquot can take the first watch, and the Oracle can take the last watch so we can get in our full hours. That's 8hrs of adventuring/travel with 4hrs of mucking about and 12hrs of rest every day. Until someone gets a ring of sustenance.

I throw another +1 up for the Sinister Path and for Take 10 perception! We/GM should always be rolling stealth.

perception im fine with taking ten with it, it was an idea i fiddled with doing at one point. Stealth should be rolled.

marching order: in the middle or Last. it's easiest for her to direct from those area's without cramping our scouts style.

Jerrek would open doors, but does not have the wherewithal to detect traps.

I'd prefer to roll Stealth and Perception - taking 10 on either of those would be the death of me.

Jerrek would vote to go right.

Jerrek will take whichever watch he is assigned.

Jerrek is happy to bring up the rear - he's a bit slower anyway.

GM, I added a weapon to my inventory - a glaive. Not only does it give me reach, but it completely wipes out all of my gold, making his "eager and hungry" theme quite literal. I toyed with a few other changes, but ultimately left him as was originally submitted.

Power attack adds to damage, not to hit. So - again - my question for Pasquot: how do you have a +7 to hit attack advantage at 1st level?

He's got a +4 before the damage for the 'to hit'. The damage is +7, from 2-handing and furious focus (therefore always power attacking).

3 str, 1 bab, +4 to hit. With the right traits you can get +5 stat, +1 bab, +1 feat, +1 MW weapon for a +8 to hit, but you're sacrificing insane stuff to do that at first level.

That said, wait until Pasquot gets his mutagen on, and Weapon Training, and then I can move up to a Large bastard sword for 2d8 damage plus (an estimated) bajillion. It really gets to be worth vital striking then. Or hitting someone with a splash weapon from 10' away and then stepping up and skewering them with Opening Volley.

Looking at my build options for Pasquot... I just discovered I can take Overwatch Style and Ricochet Toss, and throw a large sized bastard sword four times as a readied action...

i once tried to make an entire build centered around false focus and the storm of swords spell. just shooting giant swords like it's no big deal

Yeah, I was wondering if he was alright last night. I hope he is ok. Idk what the protocol is for waiting on someone. How long do we wait for somebody? I don't want anyone to feel left out, but I don't want to halt the story for the entire party over one person.

I'm probably gonna make one post tonight, pretty busy day in meatspace. Just let me know what y'all want to do. After this week I should be able to post 2-3 times a day at regular times. I'll keep you posted.

i gm'd for a little while, the general protocol differs from gm to gm. Generally start by messaging the player, give them a 1-3 day period to respond. and if they don't drop'em.

That's what i did anyway, but like i said every gm differs.

The general rule I've seen is that the DM bots actions after a day of silence in combat. Out of combat the missing PC goes along with the status quo after a day of silence.

OK I have sent him a PM. We will continue moving the story ahead to keep from stagnating. There will be combat soon so hopefully he comes back, but if not I can control him for the time being. If they don't respond in the next day or two, I'll drop them. We can add another PC later on if you all feel the need, but we should be fine with the party as is.

To be fair, I'm enjoying the breakneck speed, too. XD

Sometimes people get busy with stuff, sometimes people catch pneumonia and go to hospital for a week, there's no telling. The best thing we can do is hope he's alright, and continue on without him, and if/when he comes back, we say yay and he jumps back into the order.

*During PbP the best thing I've found is to post at Noon.
*You roll our initiative and perception to determine if there's a surprise round.
*Inform the PCs of the pose order, and who goes in the surprise round.
*Everyone takes their turn in order.
** IF someone doesn't post till Noon the next day (24hrs!) you skip them, and the second time they miss (in a row) you bot them at the end of the round, every round.
**IF everyone goes in order before noon the next day, you post the next round order after the surprise round, or everyone will already be acting in order. If everyone refreshes every thirty minutes, you can do whole combats in one day. Sometimes more than one.

***You may or may not wish to set up a Roll20 map for us to move minis on.

I'm in agreement with Purplefixer on everything except the post 'in order'. My opinion is it's better to block us into groups in initiative, that way the block can post at their convenience. Then you, the GM, can resolve everyones' actions in initiative order.
