I'm in New Zealand. Noon is irrelevant. Not everyone is posting from your time zone.
I've used Google Slides for maps in the past, but I'm flexible with whatever you'd like to use, GM.
I've worked with both block order and in-line order - it's again a GM preference, I think.
I agree that the GM should roll Initiative - it makes things so much easier. Perception is a different discussion, as not everyone thinks to actively perceive all the time. Again, it's a GM's preference, but I see that our GM already has Macros set up for both Perception and Initiative, so I think we can infer what our GM will use.

Glad to see you back, Rowland! It should slow down a little now that we're in 'adventure' mode and not 'social' mode. Lol

And I'm in Perth, so who cares, the point is to give the -GM- an easily recognized point for him to say 'this is 24hrs'. I didn't put a time stamp on the suggestion because it doesn't matter.
I've never used blocks before! Interested to see how that will work.
Good to have you back, Rowland! ^.^

Glad you are back.
I can adjust the speed as we go. I'm reading some guides on PbP GMing to find better ways of doing things. I get anxious at the idea of us sitting in a temple for a week having a conversation about whether or not we should go down path A or path B. I don't want anyone to get bored, especially when Starfinder is calling our names now. If you ever feel like I'm railroading too much just let me know.
As for block initiative, I've never done that. Is it just sort of an ally phase, enemy phase type thing, like Fire Emblem/Advance Wars? We can do that if so.
I'll work on the Roll20 thing this afternoon.
EDIT: Noon is actually a perfect time for me to post. I've got a short break between classes this semester around that time. I've been enjoying posting 2-3 times per day to get things moving, and will try to maintain that momentum, but regardless of anything else I will post at 11:30-12:30 EST daily.

That's exactly how the block initiative works, Lodestar. Some DM's resolve the action in initiative order, others just go by post order, as long as it's in the same block.

Alternatively, you could just post the Roll20 link in the section where you put 'Lasers, Robots, Magic, Barbarians'. That way we can always access the current Roll20 map and you won't have to keep updating the discussion thread. :)

Alright, the roll20 link is in the campaign info, along with a party inventory spreadsheet (for those of you that haven't seen it).
Thanks to paizo's digital map store and a little photoshop magic, we now have the official maps for book one. I'm a novice when it comes to roll20 and online games in general, but I think I figured it out.

I haven't run a Roll20 game in a dog's age, but I believe you have to assign us tokens and then you want to keep them after they're assigned so that they're always easy to bring out again. They -should- tie directly to our init results for the initiative tracker.
