I hope the general description gives enough clues what to take for your characters.
For favored enemies, Dragon is a certain, Dragon associated creatures as well.

Belhaim is located in the Verduran Forest of northcentral Taldor, on a minor trade road between Wispil and Dunholme. A lesser tributary of the Verduran Fork runs along the side of the town, connected to the main road by a covered wooden bridge.

I'm not sure....I'm just waiting...Do you guys want to invite anyone else if the others don't show up?
nightdeath |
Face Palm.... Ermm maybe the other thread if they're interested?

Away at work. Will be back by Monday. AM too tired to post anything.
Ser Jeras Devaron |
I think that Erynion Orvir might be a good choice. A knowledge bard would be a great addition to our current party. I think that all of the healing could be managed between the two of us. I think from there I would maybe look for a caster of some kind. An alchemist would also be cool.
nightdeath |
Alright I'm closing Submission and hopefully I'll have the hopefuls selected by this Sunday.
I got my eye on the following:
Erynion Orvir - Elf Archivist Bard 1
Klodd Rockhopper - Dwarf Rogue (Knife Master) 1
They might complement your ranger and paladin at the moment.
Am holding out for the rest. Looking at the above, you going to need a tank.
nightdeath |
Alright Guys, I would like your opinion of who you'd like to be in the party.
Give me your top 3 picks as I'm reserving the fourth as a wildcard.
Irathes |
Cool, I'm in...that could've been embarrassing...
K, so when you say ASAP, do you mean we can post in gameplay? Because you said see you in the Discussion, but nothing about the gameplay thread...
sorry if I seem over-eager, but I only get a few breaks from studying and I like to make them count.
Erynion Orvir |
Hello gentlebeings, this is a merry occasion indeed! ADY! I imagine shall be very surprised upon discovering you SO far abroad of the Spire.
I'll go over Erynion again to make sure he's good to go stat-wise. I think everything should be good but I'll check my money as well, and I should be able to get everything done Monday night. I need to sleep now though, as I just got home from an all-weekend con. Cheers!
nightdeath |
Gameplay thread is ready as well. Once eerybody is in, I'll move the next part.
nightdeath |
Am At a Con now for the weekend, Will update once back from it.
nightdeath |
I'm recovering from Easter Con. Will have a post up by tonight...

I'm sharing that Belhaime map across a few games but I'd trust the players to keep ooc and ic knowledge aside.
Haven't had a problem with that over the years.
Combat maps however though reused are not shared. :P
nightdeath |
I missed that. I honestly did.
You're the first Male Witch I'm in a game with.
Every Other witch was well....a Witch. Female and ermm witchy.
Adonnenniel Orvir |
Wait, the door wasn't locked or jammed? But what about what you said on Friday about it? Was that a different door?
Klodd examines the door inch by inch but finds nothing unusual. He does note that the door is well made and is generally in a fine shape despite taking such a beating as the tower collasping. Dwarven Sigils adorn the edges of the door, speaking of durability and strength.
It is however locked or jammed perhaps due to the collaspe.
Telthes and Klodd lift up the log easily.
nightdeath |
"I've always been kind of good with mechaninal things, and opening things". "Let me take a look". "I remember when I was a wee lad, ma would always have me opening jars for her and such".
Klodd spits on his hands, and pulls out a small leather pouch full of implements.
1d20+8 Disable Device
I had the DC at 15.....
Klodd had too high a disable device check and treated it as unlocked. :PKlodd Rockhopper |
Bonus Spells based on Intelligence Score
You don't get those bonus spells until you are capable of casting them IE: At the level you can cast 3rd level spells, you get an additional one. Your maximum spell level still applies.
Klodd Rockhopper |
So you're saying no matter what, if I am level one, I can only use 0 and 1-level spells? Nothing gets me higher than that besides leveling? Even if I have the intelligence bonus to learn/cast a spell?
Yes. That is the truth. If you click on the table referrence in your post you will find the following note at the bottom of the table.
The ability that governs bonus spells depends on what type of spellcaster your character is: Intelligence for wizards; Wisdom for clerics, druids, and rangers; and Charisma for bards, paladins, and sorcerers. In addition to having a high ability score, a spellcaster must be of a high enough class level to be able to cast spells of a given spell level. See the class descriptions in Classes for details.
Irathes |
I would not have written the rules that way if it were me. It seems counter-intuitive, "You have a high enough ability score to get an extra one in spite of the fact your not a high enough level to cast it in the first place..."
Whatever.

And here I thought he had something on the effect of Prestidigitation or something.
