"I mean, it might not be the most valuable or magical of your things, but that Rohini dreamed about it being so important means it isn't something you should lose... and it certainly looked vital enough that it would be the first thing most of my kind would take. "Do you have a...rag, Gant?" Kanthuun eyes the slimy Wayfinder warily.

"Rohini, a pleasure. Gant--competition? Was someone specifically searching for this? Or just saw it as a pretty bauble?"

Female :D Check out my fetching opercles!

The man hands over a spare pillow.
"My arch nemesis would have an eye for it, yes... But only because it looks important and planes-travelling adventurers held it. That's not even to mention that a man that I must admit I found less erudite than the rest of you came through this way with a similar object not long ago, though his was blackened and looked like a night-hag manufacturing."

Gant twinged as three tongues licked his ear lazily, spreading the same goo now covering the wayfinder.
"You see, I have a bit of a game going here. A long-held deadlock against a named fiend that I have no idea of why I am compelled to fight. All I know is that she will stop at nothing to get to the material plane to wreak havoc, and I will stop at nothing to prevent her from doing so."

The elderly petitioner laughed once more.
"I went as far as to make a trap for her by helping create this town. Where there are many of us, there is a reason for her to nest nearby. Where there are hunted, adventurers will also inevitably be lured. I could keep a watch on her, monopolize mortals in the area, and prevent a few transformations while at it. Neat trick, eh?"

His face darkened.
"But it's gotten a bit out of hand, as you've noticed, no doubt."

Hanethes leans against something that looks sturdy and not as disgusting as the rest of the room in a casual stance with a charming smile.

"Just a bit, yes. I'm glad you saved the wayfinder for us. And kept it from the hands of your nemesis and her minions. Thank you."

Female :D Check out my fetching opercles!

"Don't thank me just yet, son. I have requests I'm about to make of you, and I understand if you refuse the second one, but the first is absolutely nonnegotiable if you wish me not to molest your progress."

The petitioner stood up with some difficulty.
"Take Rohini with you. As nice as it has been keeping her nigh-but-captive in my home, she doesn't belong here."

Hanethes stands up straight and bows his head in a respectful but nonchalant salute towards the woman.

"I was going to suggest that she come with us anyway, if she would like to that is. Such lovely company will be just the distraction we need to keep our minds from the mire of despair that seems to be the normal earth in this place."

I see that you have a servant of the Dawnflower among you; our two goddesses have often made common purpose. I place myself in your hands and, as ever, in those of the good Lady Desna."

Rohini tuns to Gant and makes a solemn bow. It is evident words have previously been spoken and both were prepared for this moment. Rohini steps about half of the distance to the party and waits next to a wall for the party to finish conducting its business with Gant.

"Well, all this talk should bring the Plane right down upon us. Do the blasted rains make it deaf?" Kanthuun prepares for a swarm of daemons to appear.

"What's the second one?"

Female :D Check out my fetching opercles!

"Before you panic, it's safe to talk in here. The bones aren't set up just for decoration... However, Rohini knows better to invoke such names beyond a whisper outside these walls."

Gant looked from face to face, gauging to see how they'd react to his next request that was as urgent as it was unreasonable.

"I would quite like you to put an end to this game, you see. I do not think I can on my own, and trust me when I say you are the first to come this way I have dared to ask."

"I want you to slay Uraffa."

Drovya is quite taken aback at the sudden appearance of the wayfinder and cacodaemon, but the shock on his face turns to something far more sinister, and then disappears entirely like a sudden storm.

Deceiver! Thief! Unleash me and we will slay them all! No, no, I am not... I will not, these are my friends... As for the old man, and the woman, there is more here. I will ask... and then we will see.

Ah, thank you Gant, for the return of our property. Kanthuun, does it still work? He bows his head, A pleasure to meet you Rohini, I am Drovya, and this is Ivan.
He pats the hilt of his sword as he continues. How did you come to be here? And Gant, forgive my curiosity, but how does that daemon serve you? From all my studies, I would expect it to hunt you, not serve you. I only ask because we may find that our interests align, and perhaps we can help each other, but first, we would know exactly who we are working with. I sense that you have a tale to tell as well, and I would hear it before we agree to anything.

Drovya settles back on the pillow and pulls a waterskin from his pack and takes a sip before offering a drink to the rest of the group.

"Drovya, thank you for your confidence."

"This creature is perhaps the weakest of its kind. It is certainly the most foolish, I'll admit." Gant explained in reference to Mika.

"I found Mika being fed upon by its greater brethren for gods know how long. They just pinned it, bit it, waited for the wound to heal and mauled it some more. I put a stop to them with some help only to find the creature had taken a liking to me."

The old man flicked some goo off his ear.
"Of course, I mean that literally and figuratively. Mika gave me a bit of a nip and I am not of a strong build. They're supposed to carry a disease that drives you mad. I'll tell you, I don't feel any less sane than before, but perhaps my associates can tell you otherwise." With this, he gave a playful look at Rohini.

"I just get feelings from it, in my head. I don't think Mika really wishes me ill. Even after biting me, he followed me around like a... a pet? Is that what people have? I know enough about the plane to know it wants something from me, and I suspect it will probably want something from me in the moment of my destruction, but I don't intend to leave enough behind to trigger any sort of transformation. He seems happy, though, and I've seen little to indicate a penchant for cruelty."

-----
Kanthuun found, to his relief, that nothing within the wayfinder was broken or soiled. It was exactly as he had left it, with one single difference. The needle pointed ever so slightly more to the west. If Kanthuun hadn't memorized the position so perfectly each time he'd opened the device, he would not have even noticed.
-----

Noting the sorcerer's behavior, the petitioner sighed.
"I don't doubt you've already places to be and things to do. As I said, the only thing I would demand, even though I know it's unreasonable to do so, is that you take Rohini away from this place. Anything else I ask is... well, secondary."

Drovya shakes his head at the banter, well accustomed as he is to it, yet still reticent to join in.

Not going to bother rolling sense motive since even a 20 would not beat the DC for me.

He turns back to Gant with a smile, Secondary? Slaying a powerful daemon is secondary? He sighs in acquiescence. You said you had help with another such problem, can you not call upon that help again? If not, what can you tell us of this daemon, Uraffa? If we know what we face, we could be of more use to you. And this other person, who carried the Hags' wayfinder? How long ago? What happened to him?

The cacodaemons sometimes serve as familiars to powerful spellcasters. Be wary Gregorovitch.

Female :D Check out my fetching opercles!

"My partner has long since destroyed himself, Drovya, and there seems to an infinite number of powerful daemons in this place. I say it is secondary because I do not presume my plight is any less than yours. Why else would you be here?"

Gant tried to collect his thoughts, wrinkling his face further.
"To answer your later questions, I must first began by saying Uraffa is a rogue vulnadaemon whose magical power has attracted a brood of other daemons to her nest. She's been on the material plane before, and in the time I've spent listening to her comings and goings, she has promised an escape to the petitioners and daemons she's seduced, who grow in number quickly by our terms, but not, really, by yours."

"She's promised her more powerful followers a feast; that the other realm has an abundance of easy prey. For her, with all her sorcery and goods she's stolen from her time on the mortal sphere, I've no doubt of that."

The cacodaemon lifted off its master's shoulders and began flying around the room, dashing in between bone chains.

"Once, when this settlement was new, I took my then-larger group of followers in an attempt to take her en masse, and I can tell you that her mastery of lightning is unsettling, as is the fact she made her nest in ruins melded into the jungle, giving her access to structures that one could trap or lay ambushes in easily. You might be able to forgo that altogether if you could lure her outside with a promise of a way out, but... as I said, she has protection. At least two of her guards are suspiridaemons, and cacodaemons are drawn to her operation like flies to a corpse."

Knowledge the Planes DC 17:

Suspiridaemons are nasty, three-legged bird-like humanoid outsiders with lopsided heads held up only by necks covered in rings. They embody death by suffocation and strangulation, and can rob creatures their breath and sicken them with a concussive gasp before strangling what life is left from them.
They are incapable of speech outside their telepathy, but thankfully have no fast healing (though disease, acid, poison, and death effects don't harm them. They resist damage from fire, electricity, and cold, and nearly resist sonic effects entirely. They also have a strong damage reduction against weapons that aren't good aligned or silver.
Though it can activate or deactivate it at will, the creature also has a thin air aura about itself, which simulates the effects of altitude sickness and makes breathing even harder.

Knowledge the Planes DC 22:

Suspiridaemons prefer to lurk in darkness and pull the weakest, smallest, or isolated prey silently into its embrace, where it patiently and slowly wrings the life out of it with its lengthly, hideous, and strong tongue, often within shouting distance of the other prey. It can draw out a soul from a dying creature, and those who have witnessed the event say that this appears to give the creature the same satisfaction as breathing for the first time.

Knowledge the Planes DC 25:

Suspiridaemons pride themselves on the number of souls they have deprived of life by strangulation, and this amount often corresponds to the number of iron rings a suspiridaemon wears on its body. While most suspiridaemons are relatively weak compared to their daemonic kin, a particularly skillful individual who is talented at crafting as well as killing can construct iron collars adorned with gem slots, items that give the suspiridaemon the ability to contain the souls of its victims in the rings for trade in the soul markets of Abaddon. When a suspiridaemon is slain, its iron rings disintegrate into ash, and any gems held within are shattered as well, freeing the trapped souls.-This is actually directly from the pfssrd-

"As for the man who came through here not long ago, I cannot say for sure when he came... Rohini may better recall by days (Rohini's internal clock would say this happened less than a week ago-probaby close to four days), which I cannot count without some sort of cycle to compare it to, but he struck me as being disguised. Perhaps he was not a man at all... but he was a mortal, alone, and somehow managed to avoid being butchered by my wayward flock."
"He met with me at Baema's and asked if I had seen anyone or anything pass this way before him of any importance. I told him no, and he rather... well, he insisted I was lying, bought a drink and left after looking at his own blayli-wayfinder thing and muttering something I didn't quite make out."

"As I said, I couldn't quite make it out... though perhaps if I think on it some more, away from all this noise, I could make something of it. I don't think I could remember with all this ruckus, though..."

Hanethes gets the idea that whatever is being omitted might be easier to coax out of the petitioner if the cleric of Desna isn't present. Goddess only knows why.

Meanwhile, Mika had zoomed back into the socializing adventurer's midst, eventually landing on Drovya's arm, where it began circling the bite he'd sustained but a few hours prior.

She knows all that has been said, but from some discussion, Rohini could also lead the party to a secret entrance in the ruins that Gant discovered with magic not two weeks ago.

Drovya startles as Mika alights on his arm and stumbles back into a crouch, trying to shake the creature off his arm without appearing overly rude.

Uh, we ran afoul of a vulnadaemon earlier, but it didn't seem to have any more power over lightning than one would expect from its kind.

He shakes his arm again, trying to be discreet, while his shakes become more vigorous, all the while the nearly forgotten itch in his arm escalates into a maddening buzz.

"Ah, safe housing means I missed the opportunity to make a Rope Trick," says Kanthuun ruefully, picking through his re-packed quiver and pulling out some spider silk rope for inspection. "Petrova, I'd suggest we tie up any potential offenders of your honor, but they might enjoy that too much."

He bumps around under the jangling bones in search of pillows and a decent spot. And remains Level 6 until Kanthuun can get home and fiddle with Hero Lab. Oh, the humanity!

Well, here it is. Discussion thread now open.

Female :D Check out my fetching opercles!

Rogar, don't forget to proofread when you flesh out your background, okay?
Statwise, you look good, but I'd like you to write down your encumbrance eventually.

@ Arasmes - I agree its entirely possible that we've worked together before. Its also as likely that they have both tried to seduce the same woman before(Petrova or otherwise).

I could see Talon stopping by the Dry Wind. And why not? They serve alcohol. Eventually he was going to stop by there.

AC/Touch/FF: 21/16/16; F/R/W: +6/+9/+4 Max HP 47; Current HP 47

Petrova likes to flirt but she's not interested in actually being seduced. She does enjoin the game of stringing men along, however.

Female :D Check out my fetching opercles!

Where do you players want to start? In Katapesh, or in the plane itself?

@ Petrova - Clearly have just not met the right man yet.

@ Trout - I'm thinking Katapesh so our PCs who don't know each other can do some RP to introduce themselves at least.

Yes, and I'd like to be able to actually choose to go to Abaddon instead of just being thrust there. :)

Who is the person we're going to rescue. Perhaps we know him already and have a personal reason for wanting to rescue him or her.

Hanethes will perform songs (usually of the drinking variety) at The Dry Wind (hope I got that right), as he helps coordinate with the freedom fighters.

Before that, I think he worked in Absalom's Cayden Hall. :) So some writing is coming up, yay.

Father Bahjat;
He was a former-adventurer-turned temple head and a devout follower of the Dawnflower. The man was a beacon of light to the church (and quite a potent cleric, as you might've guessed).i His past before joining the church was an enigma, but was largely disregarded by those who were taken in by his bright green eyes and massive charisma.

It was by his sponsorship that the orphanage in the Twilight District had been repaired after a massive fire eight years ago.

An affable man, Bahjat saw to the well-being of every temple acolyte within the capital's city limits, and was known to go after missing members of his flock if they'd been on an adventure too long; a practice that has saved many of them from death or the post-mortem clutches of necromancers.
This aforementioned practice was the death of him when the youngest trainee in the temple was kidnapped by gnoll bandits on her way to administer healing to a rural community. Through using slaves as hostages, the tribe was able to strike the man down, but the young woman managed to escape.

Bajhat's successor took over his duties almost immediately, but was greeted by a flaming herald in a dream four nights later. The goddess herself was distraught, and though much of the message was forgotten upon waking, High Priestess Tikahde knew his soul was in jeopardy, and that only mortals could retrieve it from Abaddon without causing a catastrophic event (the nature of which was rather vague).

Even though the tenets of Saranrae disturb her a bit with their focus on light and banishing shadows (really makes it hard to be the Shadow Dancer after all if there are no shadows), she would definitely be up for helping somebody who helped so many others.

Female :D Check out my fetching opercles!

Basic terms, though, he was a human with burning red hair, dark skin, and though he was sixty-eight years old, he hardly appeared to be over forty.
If a character did know him, they also knew he had a quirk that involved his complete disdain of shoes.

Sarenrae is also one of the most tolerant deities of the wide range of individuals with good alignments. I'm sure she certainly wouldn't grudge a shadow-dancing fetchling's help.

Yar, I was half asleep when I wrote that down, I'll beef it out soon. Dwarfs and encumberance aren't so bad, but I will be keeping a track of it anyway. I still need to kit myself out with some non-magical equipment. I'm happy to start in Katapesh.

I think I'll work into the Backstory that Rogar found his way to serving with the temple of Torag in Katapesh, and got to be acquainted with Father Bahjet through instances such as helping rebuild the orphanage etc.

Hanethes would also help rebuild the orphanage. (Orphanages are kind of considered an interest of Cayden Cailean anyway).

Female :D Check out my fetching opercles!

I'm not quite sure our resident sorcerer found out he was accepted into this rp.

Male Human (Keleshite) Inquisitor 6

Arasmes, as a priest of the Dawnflower, would obviously have helped out with such things, and known Father Bahjat fairly well.

@Talon: Yeah, that sounds right-ish. Arasmes would have treated it as an amusing competition...like darts or arm-wrestling.

Oh, and I think (unless I'm doing math wrong) that Talon should only have 49 HP, not 59 (10+15+24).

@Petrova: Well then Arasmes has likely flirted shamelessly with her on more than one occasion.

Do you think they'd have worked together? Or does he just know her as an entertainer?

@Rogar, Drovya, and Kanthuun: In case you missed it, I suggested everyone chip in on a couple of wands of Cure Light Wounds. It's 215 GP per person, and we can get two of them. You guys in?

Female :D Check out my fetching opercles!

Also, everyone gets a free kaftan to start out with.
(extra clothing never hurts)

AC/Touch/FF: 21/16/16; F/R/W: +6/+9/+4 Max HP 47; Current HP 47

I suppose they could have worked together before, although the Shadow Dancer does prefer a style of operations typical clunky clerics can't usually manage. I can't see her going out to work with Arasmes, but I can imagine that they may have bumped into each other on a mission once or twice.

She'd be quite nervous if he found out her secret identity, though if he did and didn't betray it after a good amount of time, that would convince her to trust the priest much more than she otherwise would.

Female :D Check out my fetching opercles!

I'll let that be your call, Petrova. Most likely, though, he'd have met you by healing you after a particularly rough night without charging for his services.

Yeah, Arasmes isn't precisely a typical Cleric, but physical sneakiness is not his area. Still, they could've been after the same guy (since, as an Inquisitor, he mostly hunts down evildoers of one sort or another), and run into each other on the hunt.

Petrova wrote:

That's entirely up to you, since it's your secret identity, but I think it might be fun.

The Elusive Trout wrote:

I think that Petrova's actually referring to my character there (who is, after all, a priest), but could be wrong.

Female :D Check out my fetching opercles!

You're probably right, Arasmes.

@ Arasmes - You are right again. Fixed.

@ Trout - It may be possible that Bahjat may have hired Talon to help go after missing members of his flock. So going to help rescue the man wouldn't be out of character for him.

I too still need to buy mundane stuff, but otherwise I'm done.

AC/Touch/FF: 21/16/16; F/R/W: +6/+9/+4 Max HP 47; Current HP 47

Sorry, I saw Arasmes call himself a priest in an earlier post and assumed cleric. Now I see inquisitor. Yes, I was referring to Arasmes and Petrova bumping heads on a mission.

I have no problem with Arasmes knowing her secret identity. As I said, it helps give a reason for my naturally suspicious character to willingly go along with these other folks if she already knows and trusts one of them. She'd probably even go along on the mission on Arasmes' urgings even without the Temple of Saranrae requesting her.

Male Half Elf Bladebound Magus 8

I am definitely in on the cure wands. Back story and main gear is done. I will pick out some appropriate non-magical gear and be ready to game tomorrow.

If you guys don't mind giving the character sheet a once over I would appreciate it.

Also, I'll take average (5 per hit die I think) hit points which gives me 47 total using 3 favored class bonuses for hp.

That puts skill points at 22 by my count.

Any other constructive criticism is appreciated.

In terms of story, Drovya's research had lead him to Bahjat as someone who might have information on Black Ivan's planar connection. He is unaware that the priest is dead, but has heard of his kindness and generosity.

Male Human (Keleshite) Inquisitor 6

@ Petrova: Cool. That definitely works for me. :-)

@Drovya: You're right. I was thinking he was Human for some reason, and thus imagining more skill points than that.

I count 8+18+20=46 for what his HP should be, and it leaps out at me that he'd probably be better served by having a non-magical (but still Masterwork) bow, and a Ring of Protection +1. The bow should also cost about 775 GP not counting magic. I don't know if you quite have the money for that.

...

On an entirely different subject: I've just been looking over the group and noticed something: We have no Knowledge (Local) in the group at all. Since that's the Knowledge skill for Monster Knowledge checks involving humanoids that's a notable lack in the party's capabilities. On the other hand, we've got lots of Knowledge (Arcana), Knowledge (Dungeoneering), and Knowledge (Planes). Anyone who's got it as a class skill up for putting at least a rank or two in it, maybe from the other skills mentioned? I doubt it'll be as commonly used as in some games, due to the setting, but I'd be shocked if it never came up.

Well I picked my knowledges based on the fact that they're all monster knowledges. I can switch maybe knowledge(Arcana)or something for knowledge(Local).

Edit: Skill points shuffled around. No longer threatening, but I've got maxed knowledge(Local) now.

Female :D Check out my fetching opercles!

Drovya, your character seems ready, with the exception of the one hp that Arasmes noticed.

Male Human (Keleshite) Inquisitor 6

My Background is completed.

Also, Remaining Mechanical Stuff I Noticed:

Drovya: By my calculations you have spent 10,015 Gold, meaning that if you spend the 215 on a pair of Wands with the rest of us, you will have 270 GP remaining, not 610.

Rogar: Several little things:

- You have no Favored Class points distributed. I'd go 3 HP and a rank each of Diplomacy and Knowledge (Religion) for flavor, but that's me.
- You've also got enough GP For a Headband of Charisma +2, which would jack up your Saves and Healing.
- Your initiative should (I think) be +1, not +4
- And finally, are you in on the wands?

Hanethes: You have 10 GP left. You might want to replace a bullet or two with Alchemical Cartridges (which aren't much more expensive), so you can reload your gun during combat (since they reduce reloading to a Move Action). Your HP (27, I think) are also not listed.

Petrova: You have a Chain Shirt, not Studded Leather, and should thus have 1 more AC. Also, you haven't deducted Gold for the Wands yet, though I think you said you were in.

Talon: Looks perfect.

Kanthuun: Appears to have abandoned us. Or not realized he got into the game in the first place. Anyone tried PMing him or anything? If he's not in, people who still have money might need to throw some more in to make the wands idea work...

Male Half Elf Rogue 8 (HP 51/51; AC 23/15/18; F+6, R+14, W+5 (+2 trap, enchant, fear), Init +5, Per +13 (+4 trap))

HP listed, finally. I didn't get any alchemical cartridges though. But I did pick up a powderhorn. The pistol is more of a curiosity, fairly effective short range ranged weapon than something Hanethes relies on too much. In other words, its not the main weapon, just a novelty, a distraction, something fun to play with, and to employ against charging enemies before swinging a sword and starting to deal some real damage.

Male Human (Keleshite) Inquisitor 6

Oh, I got that, I'm just saying that it's only 12 GP per cartridge (so 1 GP more than a normal shot) and if you ever needed to reload in combat it might be handy...

Not a huge deal either way, though.

Let me re-do my background, and go shopping for CLW wands, among other things. Are there items we need to purchase for protection on the plane of Abbadon?

Male Human (Keleshite) Inquisitor 6
Kanthuun wrote:

Yay! We have an arcane caster! :)

Things of note, that you might've missed:

- You have 10,500 GP to spend (Assumed, but it's easy to miss the actual reference).
- By my calculations your point-buy is slightly off: If you applied your 4th level point (and human bonus) to Chr to achieve an 18, you should have one more point to spend.
- Most of the rest of us have put up 215 GP a piece to buy a pair of Wands of Cure Light Wounds for party health and longevity. You in?

EDIT: I'm assuming the above mention of Wands means you're in on that.

And Abbadon is unpleasant, but not on fire or anything, so aside from things like food, no I don't think we have any explicit gear needs.

Background and equipment are all done, as is encumbrance. It turns out that silver weapon blanch is a heck of a lot cheaper than silversheen, and lasts until the weapon hits something. Perfect for arrows. I have just enough wealth left to contribute to the wands.

I've also picked up a couple of utility scrolls (unseen servant and expeditious retreat). I'll roll my spellcraft to copy them to my spellbook in this thread. DC on each is 16.

1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22 Expeditious Retreat

1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22 Unseen Servant

So, they both are learnt. Trout, if it's ok with you, I'll take the scrolls off my equipment list put the spell names in my spellbook. I'll also deduct my share for the wands. Aside from that, I am ready to game.

Cool. It's two wands total, so that we have plenty of charges, and so that both Rogar and I (those of us with Cure Light Wounds on our spell list) can carry one...though I suppose Petrova could also use one in an emergency, being a Bard and all.

Hmmm, maybe she should carry one instead of Rogar considering his existing (very impresive) healing abilities...

Thoughts on that?

Rogar can Lay on Hands quite often. I would agree that putting a 2nd wand with someone else is a good idea. Here's a thought: does anyone have the ability to remove disease? Abbadon is a pestilent place, no? If not, we might want to get at least a potion or scroll. Or help Rogar get to 6th Level quickly. :)

Well, I'm pretty much broke, but if someone can get the money together for a scroll, I can use it (and, bought as an Inquisitor spell, it'll 'only' cost 525 gp). But that seems really expensive for something that's one use, and will be freely available in a level. I vote for hoping it doesn't come up this level. :)

Now might also be the time to mention that I'm tailoring my spell selection somewhat to back Rogar up on the whole condition removal thing. I'm planning on grabbing Remove Curse as a 3rd level spell for instance. Heck, that's why I have Remove Paralysis (and, to a lesser extent, Lesser Restoration) now.

I have yet to shop in earnest and don't mind cashing in on a few restorative items (or just one) if I have the scratch.

Heh, we're all thinking like clerics now. The "what's your class?" said I was a Battlemage!

Oh, and I applied a point at 4th Level to Int, I believe, don't recall why. Some silly reason like increasing my Kn (Planes) or something. Although--that could come in handy.

Perils of lacking a Cleric. The rest of us need to compensate! :)

And I think that a Scroll of Remove Disease is probably the only restorative we're likely to need before we have the spells to deal with that sort of thing. Well, and maybe something to deal with poison, though Lesser Restoration and Heal should be workable on that.

The points still don't quite work out, then (7+2+2+10=21).

They technically work out if you increased Dex...but doing so makes no sense, since you don't need a 15 Dex for anything, and Intelligence is right there at an odd score...

Vials of antiplague and antitoxin give +5 to saves against disease and poison respectively, can be taken after the disease or poison effects the character, and at 50 gp each are relatively inexpensive.

I am equipped, but I still have to apply modifiers from equipment to stats. I did have funds for a second CLW Wand, which I can hand to Petrova. Who gets the first one? Arasmes, I assume it would be you, as you are classed for it.

I'll list my spells as well, since I am stuck with one set as Sorcerer. It seemed like a good idea to have Rope Trick and Protection From Evil whilst on an evil plane. :)

I also nominate Arasmes for party leader; damn fine job of looking over everyone's sheets.

Give me a little more time to adjust Background and make sure I've accounted for my stats. I will be afk most of the day tomorrow but will be able to check in in the morning and evening, Pacific Coast Time.
