Shields up! Realizing that he is the first into combat with the giants, Garris gives a short Prayer to Torag for his blessing.

Activating 'Armor of Earth'. Garris gains DR 2/- for one min, in addition to his other defenses. Assuming this is a standard action?

And, if blessings are a swift action.. With his prayer complete, Garris steadies his feet to give another stunning blow with this mighty hammer.

Clerave Attack on Giant: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (14) + 19 = 33 and damage: 2d6 + 27 ⇒ (6, 1) + 27 = 34

Clerave Attack on Mount: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (15) + 19 = 34 and damage: 2d6 + 27 ⇒ (5, 3) + 27 = 35

Defenses = AC 24, DR 2/-, 20% miss chance, 25% to negate crit and sneak attacks

Having dispatched the second tower guard, Arris flies over the gate and fires a single arrow at the leftmost mammoth rider to aid his companions.

Arcane Strike and Deadly Aim
Attack: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (4) + 20 = 24
Damage: 1d8 + 13 ⇒ (4) + 13 = 17
Holy: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 4) = 9
Acid: 1d6 ⇒ 6 Total: 32

Spoiler:

Garris and Arris pound on the mammoth rider, nearly toppling the giant.

So blessings ARE swift actions?

Sacred armor is a swift action, blessing are standard

Earth Blessing would be a standard action, Sacred Armor would be a swift action. I get the two mixed up.

Since they attacked you in melee, Malak, I'm assuming you can attack them in melee this turn.

Marckus appears several yards away from the giant attacking Malakan, sending his whip whistling through the air at the club in the giant's hand.
Disarm: 1d20 + 31 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 31 + 2 = 49 vs flat-footed, if it makes a difference

Malakan Julibex wrote:

This turn, yes.

Markus easily disarms the giant, it's club tumbling to the ground as the giant grasps for it with a bewildered expression on its face.

Is this the same giant I attacked earlier?

Garris takes advantage of his dimwitted foe and smashes the giant over the head as it tries to pick up his lost weapon.

Attack of Opportunity: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (13) + 19 = 32 Damage: 2d6 + 27 ⇒ (3, 3) + 27 = 33

[dice=Attack of Opportunity]1d20+19 [dice=Damage]2d6+27

The giant is not going to get off its mount and retrieve its club. I was simply giving a descriptive disarm. The giant should not survive Malakan's attack, and will use natural attacks if it somehow does survive.

Sorry for the confusion.

This is your best friend.

Whose turn is it?

The Giants. I will post this evening.

Riderless and having been hit by Garris repeatedly, the mammoth goes nuts, screaming and bellowing as it flails at the dwarf hurting it.

Gore: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (1) + 19 = 20 for 2d6 + 11 ⇒ (1, 6) + 11 = 18
Slam: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (16) + 19 = 35 for 1d8 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 = 14

Stomp: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (10) + 17 = 27 for 2d6 + 5 ⇒ (3, 2) + 5 = 10

Unable to reach the man throwing things at him the giant urges its mount to charge the only opponent he can reach.

Gore: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (17) + 21 = 38 for 2d6 + 11 ⇒ (5, 1) + 11 = 17
Greatclub: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (13) + 16 = 29 for 2d8 + 10 ⇒ (1, 2) + 10 = 13

Looks like 67 damage to Garris, minus any DR

Further up the hill, giants are beginning to rouse, alerted by the sounds of screaming mammoths and giants.

First gore attack misses. Garris has 24/7 Blurr (anything below a 20)...factoring that in, the attacks that hit are...

1st Slam: 1d100 ⇒ 24 - hit, 14 damage
1st Stomp: 1d100 ⇒ 7 - miss
2nd Stomp: 1d100 ⇒ 53 - hit, 10 damage
2nd Gore: 1d100 ⇒ 90 - hit, 17 damage
1st Greatclub: 1d100 ⇒ 5 - miss

Garris takes 41 damage from attacks minus 6 damage from -2 DR/attack = 35 damage total 124 HP remaining.

Marckus moves to flank with Garris, hoping to give the much stronger fighter some additional leverage. He sends his magic whip whistling through the air from a safe distance, but is less focused on hitting than distracting or confusing his foe.

GM - can you please give me an update on which enemies are left and which look to be the most hurt? I ask because of the potential for activating Cleaving Finish...

Heal to Determine which foes look the most hurt: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (6) + 17 = 23

Seeing his allies come to his aid, Garris yells a challenge, "Is that all you got you overgrown uglies? My Grandafter's bones put up more of a fight than you!"

And with that, he swings his hammer in a circle, aiming for the heads of all his foes...

mammoth 1: 1d20 + 19 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 19 + 2 = 31 damage: 2d6 + 27 ⇒ (1, 3) + 27 = 31
mammoth 2: 1d20 + 19 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 19 + 2 = 27 damage: 2d6 + 27 ⇒ (2, 1) + 27 = 30

Four giants have emerged from the building atop the hill. Three hill giants and another, larger giant smoldering with fire. The hill giants move to man a trio of ballista. The fire giant moves toward a trio of chained mastodons, each of whom is smearing in a thick layer of tar.

It is approximately 120' between the towers and the ballista, The mastodons are half that distance, on the ramp.
