Realizing that the people who work there probably didn't see her, and being used to being ignored she doesn't let the lack of attention slow her down in the slightest. Going up to the counter she stretches up on her tip toes and pulls herself up slightly to look over the counter and get someone's attention. It looked like they had several different kinds of cookies and she wanted to try some of them. She was pretty sure the chocolate chip would remain her favorite, but there was nothing wrong with trying different things. She uses her hand to knock on the top of the counter to get their attention.

Seth, having polished off his morning meal sets out to investigate the town proper. Getting a feel for it's scope and readiness against invasion or whatever 'misfortune' the monk's imagination can conjure. He takes a nice long walk around the town eventually making his way to the shopping area.

From the back of the bakery, a black-haired human woman covered in flour came out and said, "Can I help you?" Then she noticed Eri, "Oh, hello there little one." Turning back to Ruedo, "Is she yours?"

Cyrus makes notes several possible points at which the town could easily be taken. Provided the Balentyne would sabotaged first. Making his way to the market area, he also noted that purchasing items that could help in their mission wouldn't necessarily be too difficult.

She points to the obvious chocolate chip ones, the chocolate chocolate chip ones, and ones that looked like strawberry with an icing on top, then finally to some ginger spice cookies and looks up at the woman with her sparkling big green eyes and smiles.

Cyrus makes several mental notes about any shoppes that stand. Particularly Armor, Weapons and other tools useful to their mission as well as anything magical or alchemist that might be promising.
He navigates around town putting himself within sight range of the Balentyne getting a feel for it's size and overall security during the day.
What's the average setup on the guards? Armor and weapons mostly.

Eri la Grave |

Feeling bad that she had to maintain her guise and not talk to him she holds up one of her chocolate chocolate chip cookies and offers it to him. She really didn't know what else to do right now except wonder around. Things were pretty boring so far.

Eri la Grave |

She nods and looks up, giving him a smile as she takes out one of her cookies and bites into it. Closing her eyes in bliss as they walk she almost walks into a stall.

Sooo the balentyen. How big is it? What's it made of? How well guarded does it look? Do the guards have shining platemail or s&~~ty light armor? Do they carry Long-swords, Short-swords.... Shotguns and riot shields?

What were you doing again Ravan? You were "socializing" downstairs right? Getting a "feel" for things? HEhe...hehe. Sorry...couldn't help it. I had chicken tacos tonight so I'm feeling...."plucky". Hehe...hehehehehehe

Eri la Grave |

What kind of stuff are we supposed to be looking for again? I already got my cookies.....soooooo....not sure what else to look for. I think it would look kinda strange for a little girl to show interest in things like arms and armor...wouldn't it?

Eri la Grave |

Intrigued by the familiarity of the woman and wondering what she could be possibly doing here, and her curiosity being peeked beyond reasoning measure, Kaite keeps an eye on the woman and heads in her direction as she nearly drags Bert with her in her enthusiasm. Getting to the lady she stops right before running into her and reaches up to tug on her hand before waving at her.
Does that make sense? She's curious to see what the woman is up to and she's not sure with the people around if the woman can see her, so she kind of tugs on her hand to get her attention before waving at her. I guess I'm trying to let her know I'm there? I just didn't know if it was clear what she was doing.

Cyrus Darkwater |

Cyrus continues his patrol occasionally stopping to purchase a few odds and ends as he gets a feel for the town and it's insignificant masses.

GM Scary Ceiling Voice |

The red-headed Elf looked down at the little girl, "Well hello there little one, I see you found the bakery."
Looking up at Bert, "I she yours?"
Paging the queen, paging the queen of lust.

Eri la Grave |

She smiles before taking another bite of her cookie. Looking up at the lady she tries smelling again to try and figure out why she seems so familiar. Maybe it was Tiadora, maybe it wasn't. She gets a questioning look on her face as she points at the lady and makes gestures at herself and Bert as if to ask, "Who are you?" as she finishes the first cookie.

"Well, you are doing a fine job," She responded. Giving Bert a curious look, "You look like a man that likes the finer things, might I suggest this shop, it's got some good inventory."

Eri la Grave |

She gets a curious look on her face as she shrugs and shakes her head as she's confused by the strangeness of it. Unsure exactly what else she could do to determine who she was without giving herself away she holds out one of the spice cookies to her as she holds her arms up in her way of requesting to be picked up. She wanted a closer look at this mysterious lady. There was something so familiar about her...yet she couldn't place it.

Eri la Grave |

She smiles as she offers her the cookie. While she's distracted talking to Bert, she puts her hands on her face and studies her more closely. She felt so stupid for putting up this ruse of not talking. She'd give anything to find out who she was. She knew too much about what they were doing to be a total stranger....but then why couldn't she figure out who she was. She leans in close to her face to look into her eyes to see if there was anything familiar there.
Basically Eri is trying to figure out if this is someone she has met in the past. Since she knows it's not Tiadora, she can only think of a few other people she could possibly be.

Eri la Grave |

She sighs, perplexed by the woman's vague familiarity. Maybe she would figure it out at some point, but she didn't want to risk revealing herself or saying too much before she figured out her agenda and what she was doing here. For now she just lays her head on her shoulder.

Eri la Grave |

She keeps her head on her shoulder while she thinks. If she said something now she could give herself away...but this woman didn't know her, and maybe she could end up being an ally. Raising her head up she looks back at Bert before putting her hands on the lady's cheeks and staring into her eyes. Pointing at herself she says in her childlike persona's voice, "Katie....you?"
