No, I would sooner quit my job than quit our WotR or my Kingmaker. I have a relationship with my characters in those games that will stay with me for my entire life. They're safe from the PbP culling, and games I run, I consider sacred responsibilities. This one's not going anywhere.

This past weekend, my apartment complex revealed to me that they interpreted my comment that I was "considering moving" to a larger apartment in the same complex to mean "let's rent out their apartment and assume they're gonna move." So with less than 3 days' notice I needed to be out the door and moved into a new place.

Thankfully it was a place I actually wanted to go, and was sharing a parking lot with my old place, buf I was not prepared and only with the help of 3 friends and a long weekend were we able to extricate our belongings from the old place and into the new.

It's been pretty wild. I'll have reliable internet, a place to actually type on a keyboard again, and the time to revive this game very soon. Thanks for your patience.

Oh, and I may have a player in mind who will be joining you all very shortly. :)

I'd absolutely be interested. I've been lurking on that recruitment thread, hoping I'll have the time to put together a proper recruitment.

I've got a concept that would work well with a witch, alchemist, or perhaps a feyspeaker druid or sorcerer.

Update: I got selected for the campaign, so I'm not going to be running one. Sorry! I still might end up running a Carrion Crown campaign though if I feel up to it.

I am fortunately in a fledgling Carrion Crown game in person - our first session is later this month. :)

I've been working with our new applicant - Justimar recommended him and he's coming up with a new character for the game. I'm excited to see what he comes up with.


Imagine it: an adventure path where the world is controlled by Amatsu.

Any idea what kind of character the new person will be playing?


An inquisitor - a tiefling, but rather than part-devil/part-human, he is part-lizardfolk. We're working out the details - I'll have him post here at some point and communicate with you all.

I suspect there are some details he would prefer to keep to himself, given the nature of the character.

I'll be playing an Inquisitor split between party face, skill monkey, and bandaid dispenser, that can serve as a melee striker in a pinch, like a Bard with less singing and more praying. It's not a particularly optimized build, but I think it patches the party's main weaknesses very ideally.

Out of combat, I'll be focused primarily on mental-based skills, especially Bluff, Diplomacy, Intimidate, Knowledge, Perception, and Sense Motive, with some investment into a few select Dexterity-based skills later, particularly Stealth and Sleight of Hand. I'm also taking some pretty fun niche spells that I think will be quite useful in this campaign.

In combat, I'll probably hover around Arruk and/or long-term summons to provide healing and supplemental damage as necessary. I don't have much by way of offensive casting, so I'll mostly be playing a supporting role in fights.


Sounds fun. It'll be nice to have the healbot pressure not completely on me. Anything you can share flavorwise, or is it a surprise?

Just popping in to reassure everyone I am still alive. Just got over a bad cold and now I am caring for my boyfriend who caught it from me, but my work schedule is evening out and I am finally... finally on the verge of having a reasonable schedule once more.


Apparently I was wrong. *sigh* I hate to keep doing this to you guys. My schedule was so full of free time when I started this game, and it's been rough in recent months.

Still refusing to give up on this, even if it takes a while to get it rolling again.

I'd like to stick around for the long haul. Part of playing a meticulous schemer means I've formed my own plans for the character, ones I'd rather not let go to waste! And I guess I like the party too :)

I'm going to help with some of the party resource tracking, if no one is opposed. Might make things a bit quicker in the future for the DM.

Whipped something together quickly. I'll call it our Party Stats sheet. This will make it easy to conduct group skill rolls, saves, initiative. If you right click a cell, you can add a note, which I am using for circumstantial bonuses. For instance, Justimar gets a +1 bonus in charisma checks vs. Chelish nobles, so I put that in his skills.

Think I got most of the conditional modifiers covered. As we level up or get gear that affects are stats, just keep the sheet updated. On the GM sheets, it automatically take the info and switches it to rolls, all put in a labelled spoiler. In addition, players could use this sheet to automatically parse their skills rather than look them up, write in forum format.

Will most likely continue with a party loot sheet. We've been fairly lucky to have equal pay from our employer thus far. I'd imagine as we explore the adventure more, it won't give us such a clear distribution of items and gold.

I got bored and made a version of the Skills and GM Screen - Skills sheets which are a bit more automated, primarily regarding the Trained-Only skills, because making things unnecessarily complex automation is something I enjoy doing for some reason.

For clarity, using it will require the players to update the T column under their name with "Y" if that skill is trained; any other letter is treated as untrained, but I went ahead and put "N" so that it's extra clear which skills this notation matters on. I also went ahead and filled out the T columns to the best of my ability, so you ideally won't need to change things until we all level, and then only if you invest skill points into hitherto untrained skills.

I'd appreciate if everyone would give the Test Skills sheet a once over (it's all the way to the right) and let me know if there's anything wrong or confusing about it.

Hi All,

I'm here, but having issues with my account. Games keep getting dropped from 'My Campaigns', and this is one that it happened to. Because the game has been inactive for a bit, I didn't even realize it wasn't on my "My Campaigns" tab. I've contacted customer service about this problem, but it hasn't been resolved.

When this game gets going, can I please be PM'd, just in case I've still not resolved this issue?
