Pendobar 'Pip' Bushytoe |
init (basic group): 1d20 ⇒ 15
Pip has a +3, but a nat one I assume he is going first. He casts Haste on the group, and begins his setup for Inspire Courage +3
Pip keeps strumming, his fingers racing faster and faster. His crystal sword begins to warble in accompanyment.
"Baseless insults
From the sons of tanners
And nightsoil collectors
Trouble the Regulators not
Foul infestation
of Nature's beauty
Your souls have cheated karma
For far too long
Challenge us
And seal your fate."
Question: Are these monk guys incorporeal or actually here?
Emrael Bladewalker |
Your roll and Emrael's initiative modifier gives the group a 27 on the initiative check.
"Did you blather on so like a child when you were still flesh and blood 100 years ago? Or is this the work of your cursed blade?"
With a moment's thought, she invests arcana into her blade and it flashes forward in a two-handed grip toward the leader.
Activating Arcane Accuracy (+7 to attacks for one round), moving and using Lunge feat to attack BB from U17.
Attack 1d20 + 18 + 3 - 2 - 3 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 18 + 3 - 2 - 3 + 7 = 41 including Inspire Courage, Lunge, Power Attack, Arcane Accuracy
Damage 1d8 + 10 + 9 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 10 + 9 + 3 = 29 including two-handed Power Attack, Inspire Courage
Critical confirmation roll 1d20 + 18 + 3 - 2 - 3 + 7 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 18 + 3 - 2 - 3 + 7 + 7 = 49 including Inspire Courage, Lunge, Power Attack, Arcane Accuracy, Critical Perfection
Damage 1d8 + 10 + 9 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 10 + 9 + 3 = 24 including two-handed Power Attack, Inspire Courage
AC 32, threatened area 10' for this round
Just noticed an ability I have not been using - if he's flat-footed, she adds her Intelligence modifier (+7) to her damage rolls.
She's paying attention to the make-up of the foe - she will enable ghost touch next round on her katana if they are incorporeal.
Satari-san |
Working under the following assumptions: haste is up, inspire courage isn't yet, using power attack to mitigate DR.
Satari turns, slips between pages of the the world, and reappears next to Blackblade. Dimension door to U19, leaving space for Claw to join the fun if he wants to.
Flurry of blows:
Haste attack: 1d20 + 22 + 1 - 3 ⇒ (3) + 22 + 1 - 3 = 23, damage: 2d8 + 14 ⇒ (7, 2) + 14 = 23.
Attack 1: 1d20 + 22 + 1 - 3 ⇒ (20) + 22 + 1 - 3 = 40, damage: 2d8 + 14 ⇒ (1, 8) + 14 = 23.
Attack 2: 1d20 + 22 + 1 - 3 ⇒ (6) + 22 + 1 - 3 = 26, damage: 2d8 + 14 ⇒ (8, 2) + 14 = 24.
Attack 3: 1d20 + 17 + 1 - 3 ⇒ (8) + 17 + 1 - 3 = 23, damage: 2d8 + 14 ⇒ (2, 8) + 14 = 24.
Attack 4: 1d20 + 17 + 1 - 3 ⇒ (3) + 17 + 1 - 3 = 18, damage: 2d8 + 14 ⇒ (3, 7) + 14 = 24.
Attack 5: 1d20 + 12 + 1 - 3 ⇒ (6) + 12 + 1 - 3 = 16, damage: 2d8 + 14 ⇒ (8, 2) + 14 = 24.
Crit confirm: 1d20 + 22 + 1 - 3 ⇒ (1) + 22 + 1 - 3 = 21, damage: 2d8 + 14 ⇒ (1, 1) + 14 = 16.
This turn Satari has AC 29.
dungeonmaster heathy |
Satari's blows, while doing damage, seem to be blunted by the thing's stoneskin spell, and something else.......
"Ha ha! Your venoms tickle me, fist fighter! You should have been more rigorous in your iron ox training, I can tell you punched boards instead of rock!!!"
Satari-san |
Satari smiles, unshaken by the blistering of braggarts, "All training is of the path, whether the fist is open or closed," the old man replies mildly.
Prep for their turn, in case I'm tucked up in bed. Satari seeks for an opportunity to use Redirection (14/day) (Ex) At 1st level, as an immediate action, a flowing monk can attempt a reposition or trip combat maneuver against a creature that the flowing monk threatens and that attacks him. If the combat maneuver is successful, the attacker is sickened for 1 round. Satari attempts to trip any attackers. If successful he'll also use the AOO provided by greater trip.
Trip attempt 1: 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (6) + 24 = 30.
Attack 1: 1d20 + 22 + 1 - 3 ⇒ (10) + 22 + 1 - 3 = 30, damage: 2d8 + 14 ⇒ (3, 8) + 14 = 25.
Trip attempt 2: 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (15) + 24 = 39.
Attack 2: 1d20 + 22 + 1 - 3 ⇒ (14) + 22 + 1 - 3 = 34, damage: 2d8 + 14 ⇒ (1, 7) + 14 = 22.

Right on; I'll keep it in mind.
Looks like Claw, Elgan, and Dok are up to bat though not necessarily in that order.
Claw the Golem |
No adamantine, I'm afraid. Those big bladed hands of his do slashing damage, if that matters.
Emrael Bladewalker |
I thought of that later. It was not included in the damage rolls provided. Also, in case it matters, when I forgot the haste bonus, I also forgot it from the AC, so her AC is a point higher if BB decides to try her defenses.
Beldan Vale |
Yeah, if it's cool I'll say that Beldan has been hiding in the mists, maybe taken a healing potion or two - he has been a bit confused about whether they should fight the dead samurai or this new guy, so biding his time.
I'll choose a position and state actions soon as I can - maybe late tonight, gotta pick the kids up soon and it is my son's birthday today.

Happy birthday to your boy!
Beldan Vale |
Beldan slips out of the mist where he’s been hiding Stealth: 1d20 + 36 ⇒ (14) + 36 = 50 – if that beats the bad guy’s perception I should be able to get sneak attack on him and moves up to the big bad move to U20 to attack him with the tengu rapier.
1d20 + 27 ⇒ (13) + 27 = 40 damage: 1d6 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10. If sneak attack applies, add 7d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 2, 6, 3, 6, 3) = 30 plus 7 bleed plus 2 strength damage.

He had fun though … my task today is to try to find space for all the new lego he got …dungeonmaster heathy |
