OH, I thought that Globe of Invulnerability only blocks spells of lvl 4 or lower from affecting those inside. I didn't think it provided any visual cover or blocked LoS? (Unless this is a DM special modiefied spell, in which case I'll shut up now!) ;P
Forgot about this one. I thought the globe was opaque. Any thoughts on this?
Beldan Vale
I’ve been trying to update my map on and off over half the day and can’t figure out what’s where, what’s alive, what’s dead … anyway …
Beldan, mashed by the dinosaur, confused by all the appearing, disappearing, hitting and dying, and not able to hit anything with his crossbow, doesn’t much feel like getting down and dirty with any of the bad guys left standing at the moment.
He whispers softly to his companions, “Troll’s around the corner,” and slinks back into the shadows 5 foot step to A19, carrying stealth result of 50 from last round. Draw a potion of cure moderate wounds and drink it down for 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (7, 1) + 3 = 11
dungeonmaster heathy
A huge earth elemental blinks in at ghi 23-25, and five foots to 22-24, and smacks stiggy for two punches, 27 h.p. damage.
A pit opens at ef 22-23, and the mummy dude falls into it, screaming "you've betrayed me!!!"
Stiggy has a reflex of d.c. 19, or he will fall in too.
Group's attack!!!
dungeonmaster heathy
See thru is toast anyway's. The pit will see to him.
Stig can pick d22 or e23 to end up in, depending on how near the elemental he wants to be.
Hnoss can get within Jesus bomb range.
she gets up to d17; if he moves south a square from d22 he's in the circle, as well as Altee, Gje, Elgan, and Beldan;
5d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 5, 3, 3) = 15
healed.

Pip tries to detect the invisible troll
Perception: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (16) + 21 = 37
Failing that, Pip will attempt to quill the elemental. If he succeeds, the troll.
First arrow (second damage is manyshot arrow, autohit if first arrow hits): 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (20) + 16 = 361d8 + 14 ⇒ (5) + 14 = 191d8 + 14 ⇒ (7) + 14 = 21
Rapidshot arrow (1st attack): 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (11) + 14 = 251d8 + 14 ⇒ (5) + 14 = 19
Second arrow: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (11) + 11 = 221d8 + 14 ⇒ (7) + 14 = 21
Hasted attack: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (16) + 16 = 321d8 + 14 ⇒ (5) + 14 = 19
Crit confirm on 1st shot (don't know how to handle manyshot-throwing it in if you rule it crits too): 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (18) + 16 = 341d8 + 14 ⇒ (2) + 14 = 161d8 + 14 ⇒ (5) + 14 = 19

you scairt me!
Heh heh. Just when I had some decent rolls. Ah well..
Pip, seeing that there is no good shot, whips out a scroll and starts chanting. A huge form comes out of thin air
Summoning (via Monster Summoning V) an >anklyosaurus< to go up against the elemental..
Elgan Dreadwood
One healing bonk on the dwarf's head, coming right up! :)
Trade a lvl 5 spell for a Cure critical, 4d8+13 coming at you Stig!
And the acorn bounces off of Stig's helm,... leaving behind a few leaves and the smell of cinnamon,...
4d8 + 13 ⇒ (6, 1, 3, 7) + 13 = 30
Beldan Vale
Beldan, healed up by Hnoss’s magic, sneaks across to E24 (around the pit) 1d20 + 33 ⇒ (13) + 33 = 46, putting his finger to his lips as he passes the slave-dwarves, then looks and listens for sound or sight of the hidden troll. Perception: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (14) + 16 = 30 with 60 foot darkvision.
Got another action depending on what he sees or not.
Claw the Golem
Gjetost jogs down to the cave's southern corner before tossing a rock at the elemental.
Move to BC 25-26. Attack roll 10+11+1(haste)+3(bard)=AC 25, damage 7+16+3=26.
Claw shuffles after the rest of the party.
Triple move to BC 17-18.
Stig's action depends on whether Altai can dispel the elemental.
Beldan Vale
I think I figured out why I am so lost in this fight ... I made a map at work, left it there, then made another one at home. The one at home I put the numbers going down the page rather than up, switching between them I have been getting very lost with everyone’s position.
Anyway, I think I just moved Beldan real close to a giant earth elemental. Don’t want to be there! Make his position hiding in A26.
dungeonmaster heathy
Ogay - finally caught up. One question - do I lose my Invisibility by casting Dismissal or Dispel magic?
Yes, if it targets a creature that is your foe.
Dispel magic on an object will NOT be considered an attack. On a compatriot will NOT be an attack. On an enemy, yes.| dungeonmaster heathy |

4d8+13
Stig feels better.

Gjetost hits, hurting the elemental quite a bit.
Claw shambles eternally forward at the behest of phantom strings.

Beldan can see a hall running up from the map, ten feet wide, at KL 26. But he can see no troll.
Claw the Golem
Stig steps up to the pile of sentient loam and digs in with his warhammer.
5' step to F24 before unloadsing on the earth elemental:
Attack 1:11+24+3(bard)+1(Haste)-0(PA w/Furious Focus)=AC 39, damage 8+16+3(bard)+12(PA)=39
Attack 2: 12+19+3+1-4(PA)=AC 31, damage 8+16+3(bard)+12=40.
Attack 3: 13+14+3+1-4(PA)=AC 27, damage 10+16+3(bard)+12=41.
Attack 4 (bonus from Haste): 8+24+3+1-4(PA)=AC 32, damage 6+16+3(bard)+12=37.
Altai Iscarni
Altai moves further forward, looking for the troll.
Move to D27 before casting Summon monster VI. Not quite sure what I want yet, but the monsters appear on my next turn.
I'm invisible, have Darkvision 60' and have See invisible up and running. Stealth 10+12=22, Perception 11+8=19.

A square wall of fire appears, twenty feet tall, violet flames; it runs down the middle of squares g26, h26,i26,j26,k26,L26,L25,L24,k24,j24,i24,h24,g24,and g25.
Stiggy is unaffected standing in the orb.
Elgan-tree recoils instinctively from the burning wall of flames!
"Nooow daaat's jeeest Meeean!,..." He roars out slowly. (It is actually very fast for tree speech!)
Elgan Dreadwood
Sorry, one dispel magic targeted on wall of fire, coming up!
Elgantree leans back, and then towards the wall of fire, and a wind springs up from nowhere, a wind which can be heard roaring past, but no one feels. It can be seen having an effect on the wall of flame though,...
Sorry, late, tired, cranky, let me look up th eroll needed for the dispel,...
EDIT- ah, ok, 1d20+caster level,...
1d20 + 13 ⇒ (7) + 13 = 20
Elgan Dreadwood
dangit! roll higher so I don't have to look stuff up too!!!
The fire still rages. Elgan's mana surge was at low tide levels.
I'm trying! Really! Teh dice roller no likee me lately,...
Elgantree looks decidedly depressed at the continued prescence of the wall of flame. He almost seems to wilt.
"Soooorryyy,..." He says slowly in tree-speak,...
