The five troll head dog moves to def 8-9-10, and one trollish head nips 10 feet away at Stiggy. The dwarf is gouged and bitten, for 33 h.p damage, and then it trips Stiggy; critical for the CMB; improved trip, no aoo's on the sumb@~ allowed....and Stiggy is prone.
He hears "glugglugglug!" as his prone potable also spills on the ground, feeding the dead skulls and bones on the floor of the cave in a hateful gesture of wastefulness.
Group's attack...

Lost my map and notes for this battle OH so long ago,... (if i ever made them at all, been getting slack lately,) ;P Where Am I oh mapmeister? Is Elgan close enough to nibble on something this round? (And oh tricksy DM, don't think I didn't notice you sneaking in a creature that has even more reach than Treant-Druid! Forcing me to bow to the rules of smack-downiness!) ;P

dungeonmaster heathy |

Pip scrambles up the bony pile
Perception/Climb: 1d20+24;1d20+8
My Cloak of Arachnida gives me a permanent Spider Climb effect as well
Once on to the cave he begins his song with his sword in duo.
+3 bonuses ATK/DAM/CHARM/FEAR
Once that is set up he unlimbers his bow and begins to plink away[Round 2]
Attacks: ** spoiler omitted **
Pip buff from long ago.....+3 ATK/DAM/CHARM/FEAR......

Elgan's on
Gjetost the stone giant's shoulder, in bird form, 65 feet south of the five headed trolldog.
Elgan Dreadwood |

Thx for the update! And IIRC I just used the Flame strike. OKies,...
Elgan-crow glares at the troll-dog that dares to live through his holy-flame attack. He growls in bird talk. (Yes, growls) and a swarm of flying, biting stinging insects appear from nowhere, and seem to have a deep and abiding interest in troll-dog-flesh.
Summon swarm. Give me another round, and I'll seal them in with it in a spherical Stone Wall Spell! ;P
EDIT- OK, I know it's late, and I'm tired, but I cannot find the dmg for a swarm spell. I think it's listed with the stats for the actual Creature/swarm, but all I find are the saving throws for the swarm's poison side effect. Where is the dmg?

Claw the Golem |

Spider swarm here - damage is 1d6 plus poison and distraction. Don't seal it in - that'll keep Stig, Gjetost and everybody else out, and that would be a shame. Speaking of which...
Gjetost charges the odd beast. Claw follows after him, but is too slow to reach the hideous aberration.
I can't find my map either, so this will need to be a little abstract. Claw moves 60' closer. Gjetost charges into melee. Attack roll 11+19+3(bard)-3(power attack)=AC 30, damage 11+16+3(bard)+9(power attack)=39.

Altai Iscarni |

Altai jumps down into the cave and follows the behemoths as the rush the curious foe. Before he gets too close, he casts a formula on the party members engaged in melee.
I'm moving 40' closer to the trollwolfthing before casting Haste on Vilya, Stig, Hnoss, Gjetost and myself. Pip can haste the others next round.

Elgan Dreadwood |

Cool, if you tag Gjetost with the Haste, that tags Elgan too. (He's riding on the large, comfortable, shoulder) :)
Swarm Dmg (no matter what type I call, dmg is 1d6/rnd) Fort DC 11 save vs poison (I don't think that'll make THIS doggie-troll-thing even blink!)
1d6 ⇒ 1

Gjetost makes it to BC 12-13, and lays into the trollhead but good.

Altai's at f16 I reckon.

1d6
1 point in damage; the swarm jumps all over the troll dog, but he doesn't seem that bothered.

Vilya the Taker |

Vilya the Taker wrote:Vilya moves in closer, stealthily setting up a sneak attack / flanking position.Vilya's to A7, and she can sneakflank next round.
(edit)
with Altai's haste, Vilya is behind the thing at d7.Can go ahead and attack this round!!!
Vilya leaps at the beast, shouting a war cry.
+1 blurstrike kukri: 1d20 + 10 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 10 + 2 = 22; damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

Sorry. Seems that the Chinese are blocking a lot of internet. Some folks got it in their heads that they should walk like the Egyptians over here. Now the gov has started choking my VPN and it's been really hard for me to get through the firewall without waiting for 10 minutes to load a page. Only 1 more month in China. Thank the frickin lord. Trying to read up.

Elgan Dreadwood |

You said it brother!
(And no one at Casa de Rags is sick right now! (Thank the Lord!) It's just we're SO busy. How can two kids have SO, MANY, ACTIVITIES?!?)
(Trying to explain to the missus that IT'S OK to NOT have something to go too EVERY night of the week!) ;P

dungeonmaster heathy |

Shoot....I guess kruelly will be out of circulation for about a month; somebody wanna take his move? He's "prone" in the beast's melee range, but Hnoss made it piss away it's 1/round aoo on her, so's he could stand up.
Then it's Beldan's attack, and then....the beast.
I got stuff to do for a few hours here, but after that I think I'll put up a remap coordinate set, since this has been so long and drawn out of a proposition here.

Elgan Dreadwood |

Sorry, lost i-net yesterday, due to storms I think, (which is weird, we lost inet & phones, but the cable still worked!) ;P Mardi Gras the next 2 days. Just sayin',... ;)
Shoot, I can barely keep up with Elgan's math in various forms, I wouldn't know where to start with Kruely's! ;P Maybe the all-knowing Vatter's can handle it? :) Speaking of, Vatt, no trip to the Big Easy this year? :)

dungeonmaster heathy |

righton; had another one of those "I'm on call even if I'm not cos now I'm covering somebody" days....got called in for a procedure that can be 2 hours or 4 hours depending on the gallbladder in question's behavior........and I got there and it got canceled.....WOOHOO! I get really really decent cash minimum to come in, so no hair off my ass!!!

dungeonmaster heathy |

Yeah, f*%* it; he can take a five foot step and be right on the thing. One attack.....
It's at def 8-10.
Vilya's at d7,
Hnoss is at f11.
Stigy'll be at e11.
Gjetost is at bc 12-13 with elgan on his shoulder in hawkform.
Altai's at f 16.
Claw is at de 13-14.
Pip is at c24 on the ceiling.....
Bel's at g 24 hiding in some bones.
The room is a-n across the top, 1-24 down the side, with a hall out at gh 1,
and the entrance at a-f 24; the whole room is filled with bones, as well as a gnarly wolf with five troll heads.
Stiggy, then Beldan, then......the wolftrollthing.

![]() |

Stig rolls to his feet with unexpected grace, leading with his unfeasibly large warhammer. It buries itself in the side of the unnatural beast with a satisfying thud. "Physics, boyo," Stig mumbles to nobody in particular as the sudden impact rights him up and stops him from rolling right past the wolftrollthing.
Stig has the nifty feat Furious Focus, so his first Power Attack each round incurs no attack penalties. Attack roll 12+24+3(bard)+1(haste)=AC 40, damage 2d6+28+3(bard)=39.
