"Fine, fine, I'll take care of the damned wall. The bugs are mine, by the way, so let them be." Three massive spiderlike bugs materialise and start poking around the cave as Altai casts his dispelling formula.
First my summoned monsters arrive, and then I hit the wall with Dispel magic. Dispel check 13+13=26. The bugs are in KL 25-26, GH 25-26 and AB 19-20. Do the first two see anything interesting?

“Damned troll. Just like them to turn up, cause a ruckus, then disappear ... I’ll see if I can see it.”
Sneak to J26 and peer around the corner. Stealth: 1d20 + 33 ⇒ (13) + 33 = 46 Perception: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (19) + 16 = 35
"Eeek! Warn a man before you send spiders like that past him Altai ... oh, you did ..."

With a chitter, the solifugae skitters up the corridor.
The critter in KL 25-26 moves 50' up the corridor. They're not 'real' spiders, but rather camel spiders. It uses the dire lion stat block.
It moves as far as kL 28-29, and is struck by a claw, for 14 h.p. in damage.

Bueller .... Bueller ...
Not sure if Pat or Kruel are about?
I'm here
Seeing his bright idea fizzle, Pip has the dino move as close to the action without gumming the works up. He moves forward after the spiders as well, bow at the ready.
I'll move to where Pip can get a bead on the action and try to look for signs of an invisible creature
Perception: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (4) + 21 = 25

Flame snake spell, darts about the room, it runs down the hall, then j26-j22, up I, and h26 terminates;
gh25-26 spider, kL 28-29 spider, Bel, stig.....
reflex save 19 or 42 hit points; half if save; unless you're Beldan.Group's attack.
You mean I need to make a reflex?
Reflex 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19

The front solifugae lashes out at the unseen fire-thrower. Sadly, its blows fails to hit anything.
Jesus H. Christ - I seriously rolled 1 to hit three times. Now, I have a question - these things are long, low bugs. Can the other two clamber over the front bug and the invisible goober and plop down on the other side? According to the rules they probably can't, but it just seems like the kind of thing that they should be able to pull off. Obviously they'll get AoOed like crazy as they do so.

Guh, been ADDing all over the place this week. Even started an edition war =P. Gotta settle down and get my shiznick set
Pip tries a >Glitterdust< on the far corridor
I can toss this about 240 FT, do I have an idea where the invisy bad guy is?

I guess I have to call RAW and say they're dire lions in all but form, so nope.

I think you'll have to get up closer.
Though he IS within that range, he's down a hallway off of the main room, so you have to double move at least to get near;somebody want to move the Pipmeister?

Makes sense. Still, a guy can hope, right? :D
Pip can run to K26 this turn and cast his spell next round.

Don't know if I'm still engaged. Don't know if I am hasted. So just in case.
att-1 1d20 + 20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 20 + 3 = 39
dam-1 2d6 + 28 ⇒ (2, 5) + 28 = 35
att-2 1d20 + 15 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 15 + 3 = 25
dam-2 2d6 + 28 ⇒ (6, 1) + 28 = 35
att-3 1d20 + 10 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 10 + 3 = 21
dam-3 2d6 + 28 ⇒ (6, 4) + 28 = 38
att-haste 1d20 + 20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 20 + 3 = 36

It's up a hallway from your location in the main room. It's invisible, and there's a big cameltoe spider that Altai summoned, which is engaging it in melee. From your position, you can see that it's 35 feet due north of you; that's where the flame snake spell originated from anyhow's.
The hall is 10 feet wide, though, which is the width of the camel spider engaging the thing.....whatever it is; it's invisible at the moment.
