Rusty's blow slams into the chortling devil and beleaguered hammerer which I think he meant rather than the out-of-reach bolter, and it is clear that the devil at least cannot last much longer.
Shifting away, it turns venomous eyes on the dragonborn before taking to the air once more and flying back to the safety of the machinery.

The now familiar conjuration of the dwarven spirit in clerical vestments appears beside Nayce at the top of the boiler and also takes a defensive stance, glaring at the hovering devil.
Looking back at the party he shouts, "Anyone wanna' swat this big devil fly out of the air for me?"

Also, don't forget he gets -2 on attacks against me. I'm not sure whether you factored that in or not, but since you rolled a 22 against my 20 Reflex defense, it sounds like it would hit either way.
