While under any other circumstance a Marathon battle would be friggin sweet now with each wave you keep adding it's only becoming a battle of attrition and it's keeping Nasir from joining up with us and playing, who at this point has been patiently waiting half a month or so to join.

Also, if she keeps some of her gold back, perhaps she is the one who purchases "Shiver" from us. It would be an awesome weapon for her.
If she bought it from the group it would help maintain the group's wealth. Selling items is rough with the 50% rule. I am not sure how we would work it. Either allowing her to acquire it at selling cost, or having her buy it at buying cost but moving the GP to the group fund, or somewhere in between.
Personally because she has been in limbo for the last 1.5 months, I would vote for "selling" it to her at selling cost and using the "proceeds" to purchase Bartan his belt. This gives her a steep (50%) discount off of a great weapon and still lets us boost Bartan's HP.
All this is if she wants to purchase Shiver (+1 fire outsider bane cold scimitar) of course.

That would definitely work for me. I'd adjust my starting build to have a non magic weapon, to leave a bit more cash on hand.

I am not quite sure what Shirin's stats should be, perhaps expert 1/ warrior 1 if you want her to be a low level NPC. if you are thinking more in line with a cohort then 5 levels in a PC class/ classes? What do you think?

Nice to see Shirin! No, not a cohort - not for your wife! NPC-not-under-GM-control is the way to go. With only NPC levels, but equal to yours, since she's adventuring with you. (Maybe start at Level 2, and now go 1:1 on xp? So Level 3.) If Shirin ever did something "extraordinary", that might be her breakthrough to PC level(s). I don't want you force you to take Leadership for a wife/husband/companion character. It's hard enough keeping up with your own PC, at times.
But any of the NPC classes - Commoner, Expert, etc. It would be interesting to level Shirin as Commoner1/Expert1/Warrior1. ;) Just keeping up with the skills progressions...
And now I need to change that picture on the Encounter Map.

Hey, make a name for yourselves, like clearing out the Carrion King's place, and there's bound to be repercussions...
It's like everybody gunning for Batman or Superman, to be "the one" that brings them down.
And if you've been following the clues, a whole bunch of people have found out you're carrying a major artifact to Katapesh, and many would like to "intercept" such a caravan before you make it to the city gates.
I'm just wondering if Hajar is going to take care of the ankle-biter or go after the real threat.

If word of the atrifact has gotten around, that may be the reason for Nasir to be heading out to meet them and usher them to Katapesh under the concerns of the Pathfinder society.

Next time if the first attack drops him you could use a move action to move.
You don't have to choose full attack until you take your second swing.

Khayal is in a little trouble. I can fight defensively and probably survive a round or go kill happy and hope to drop him.
Khayal would probably try the latter so that is what I'm going to have him do.
I will attempt to add some good narration at least, if it's to be his last round alive, it will be a good one (I hope).
