No-no, I should have clarified. You mech suit. the battle suit was loaded fine and dandy. I often think the two the same, but from you picture earlier i had felt it safe to assume your Mech was to large to fit. Your battle suit can/is stored on the conveyor.

There's the Battlesuit which is power-armor, and the ballistic suit which is like what you'd see a marine wearing to battle right now. There isn't a mech or something like the ARM suits/Landmates from Shirow Masamune's works (Ghost in the shell, Appleseed). I was picturing them being a new weapons system on her world and she was trained in how to pilot one as part of her training, but I was planning on having her work her way up to building one.
Unfortunately, the battlesuit she does have doesn't make her any faster, only tougher and stronger, so at most we'd be moving at a speed of 6. Jaq isn't that strong and I didn't put any points into making her faster, so she's a bit on the slow side, though if she gets the drop on someone, they are going to feel it.

Jaq: with what you downloaded, you might be able to spend the next few hours programming or planning something (basically, our main mission is now to retrieve Aurora without arousing suspicion; we can stay on this world until we've got a plan, then jump back into the alleyway 10-20 hours later, and be as inconspicuous as possible. We've got useful data on the bug already; scouting this world could tell us something, but it's probably just a sidequest at this point.

I mentioned to the guy at my comic book shop that I have a GURPS character who "casts magic by explaining the physics involved (badly) to an 'audience,'" and he asked if I was just playing The Doctor.
Bringer of Stories
Well by the math: Time/Dimension hopping machine + Female companions + Fringe-science at your disposal... Yup. The Doctor.
Dr. Flynn Carrigan
Oh, just wait until I learn Gate, and can time/space hop us between high-magic worlds in an emergency... with the caveat that on a failure we'd all get sucked into the Time Vortex.
Dr. Flynn Carrigan
Alright... I'll be assuming I can't learn any new spells until I've had time to study with my spellbook (My next two will by Seeker and Trace, which let me track specific people and objects much better).
Also, I'm planning on saving at least 5 skill points for a future Int increase.
Bringer of Stories
Good Luck!
Don't worry. With Flynn and I going to school, this wont be moving to quickly.
Bringer of Stories
Ha. Minions. Alas, I don't teach.
In the world of Engineering there is only "Do."
SCIENCE!
Bringer of Stories
Alright.
You all gain another 10 character points for completing/surviving the foolishness on the return to Mummut.
This effectively ends the first part of the game. I can very easily continue if you'd like or I can end it there.
This will be your call.
Dr. Flynn Carrigan
Yeah, definitely fine to continue. Will have to level up some more, though... o.O
I'd also recommend that this is a good point for everyone to put a single skill point into Holdout, Hiking, Gesture, and (Broken) Combat Sign Language; the last three, at least, are only useful when the whole group has them.
Bringer of Stories
I love medical science. Well, at least they saved your eye. Will the liquid eventually return through natural processes?
AS for the game. We will continue.
Id like to take a show of hands on who all wants to continue off from here or elsewhere. I mean there is a broken projector you could heist and what not. Then you gotta find/found a new HQ....so on so forth.
Bringer of Stories
When your point expenditure is completed, let me know. Post an "X" in here.
Once all four of you are X'd up, ill begin the story line.
Bringer of Stories
Well, I would find ways to be able to adapt to situations. Although I have begun writing a general story outline, I still rely heavily on RNG. So I cannot predict what the details will be. Be ready for anything.
Jaquline "Jaq" Cho
Done. I may have made a mistake in calculating stuff, so you may want to double check if something looks off.

Heh. You just trained 15 int skills (and this is why I'm looking to raise int)
Funny thing is, she still needs another fifty points at least before I get her to where I think she ought to be, but hey, that's part of the fun.
"When did you learn how to use a cannon?!"
"Oh, I've known how, it's just never come up."
:D

Ill be starting up the game again tonight or tomorrow morning based on how tired I am after class this evening.
Ready yourselves for things involving stuff.
