Kranzer deftly reaches around the corner and slices off a scaled arm, ending the threat with a bloody splash on Jakwin's clothing. After a minute and some gulps of water, everybody gets the foul stench out of the mouths and stops retching.

After the combat subsides, Heryn peeks into the room, ”Is it safe now? Are you sure? Did you check all of those tunnels?”

And once she has been reassured, the bartender’s curiosity gets the best of her, ”This is amazing! I never knew there were secret passages beneath the Wisp. I wonder who built them, and what they were hiding.

The files on the desk chronicle the personal exploits of Selmius Foster, a famous Pathfinder whose name you all recognize from your training. "Who-or-whatever Fimbrik, I think he's next on our list." He gives Janira his winningest smile, "Thanks, Janira! We'll tell you want we find."

"Yeah I agree with that. Hopefully this Fimbrik can shed some light on our situation. Sounds like those three names may lead us to another clue...we'll have to remember to ask this 'friend' when we see him." she suggests to the others.

Thanking Janira for her time, the woman heads back out into the street.

Sovereign Court

@Kranzer: You haven't heard of him either.

DC 10 Knowledge (local or religion):
The Arcanamirium is Absalom’s oldest and largest magical institution, and arguably the most prestigious arcane academy in the whole inner sea. Unlike many competing institutions, it encourages the combination of magic with martial skills, stealth, divine rituals, and even mundane talents.

"No, Kranzer, I don't think I've heard of this Fimbrik. It sounds like you know where to find him, though. Have fun! And good luck!" Janira gives everyone a quick hug, then gives a huge wave with her entire arm.

Once on the Arcanamirium grounds, you have no trouble finding Fimbrik’s address. His house is rather large, with numerous newspapers piled around the door and crammed into a thin slot at its base. Each rounded corner of the building has a large window, but the front door is the only entrance.

"With all those newspapers, he must be gone for an extended stay..."

Gardol will walk up to the porch and knock on the front door, just in case...and check to see if it's locked...
