Maoldrurra guides his horse back from the ooze then draws another arrow and looses at the oozes.

Anna ray misses the ooze. Pip's crossbow bolt hits the ooze and it collapses into a a bunch of sticky goo before Maol arrow got there. collapsing to the ground dead.

Maoldrurra shakes his head. "I have no idea if there are more, but the farm lies that way. We'll just have to stay alert."

Maoldrurra kicks his horse forward and watches closely for signs of another ooze.

Pip drops off Maol's horse and quickly swings up onto Nimbus before following closely behind the Elf.

The way for the party to travel is now mostly clear and the next house seems much closer and then the party seems to go up a hill that is a little more rocky with less problems. Now another shooting star goes through the sky. The party then gets to a top of a little rise and sees Moe's house on a flat spot.

Maoldrurra hurries forward to the door and cracks it a couple times with the butt of his glaive. "Orcs are coming! Rouse yourselves and seek shelter in Southwatch! Hurry!


A man inside says jsut as a cold gust of wind blows. "This is bad news. I should get dressed before coming out into the cold. Are there others I can travel with?"

Our quest:
Names of the families in order as described by Eliane's husband. Last name of family #1 remains unknown. "The other farmers names are Xander, Daggin, Franklyn, Moe,and Kendal."

First family, Eliane is the wife : alerted-- loading their wagon, meeting at Franklyn's.
Xander: ready quickly and on the road to Franklyn's.
Daggin: -- man and little girl Angelica.
Franklyn -- Daggin is helping the Franklyn's get together. Everyone to meet here.
Moe -- has a donkey.

Moe says "I will The quickest way is to follow this road oyu are on. " About three minutes later Moe comes out in some shabby clothes but with some shoees on and walks to a nerby barn and gets a donkey out and saddles it and the the party dpearts on the way up this road with many barirers and breaks in the process coming up to the top of the hill when it sounds like a crow is already up.

After hearing the crow, Maoldrurra looks to Pip. "Is it too early for crows to wake?"

this is the second know(nature) opportunity that pip has had and lacked the trained skill. Boo. I'm so picking that up next level.

Pip thinks for a moment before replying, I don't know if crows have any preferred sleep time, but they've always been awake whenever I done need them to be. She glares in the direction of the black bird as if it had personally insulted her. Best be ready for anything. Dark wings always bring misfortune.


A gentle breeze greats the party when they get to the top of the hill Moe says "Just two more hills." The crow has seen to go away but the party notice a bit of dried meat on the road.

Maol looks about and hefts his glaive.

Maol sees a footprint that looks like a bare foot on the road going across it that looks like a little bigger than a human.

The party continues after the footprint on the road. The party goes through the moonlight with moe keeping near the back of the party and to teh right. The road appears to get not as worn in but Moe says [b]"this used to be a campground and used for some training for forces stationed in southwatch and castle everstand. Now weeds have started to grow in the field as the party advances into the campground. IT was Moe at tihs time gets interupted by the crack of a whip Then three orcs two of wihch wearing barely any clothes and a third in a chainshirt with a whip run into the parties veiw.

"Never met an orc I liked," Maoldrurra mutters as he readies his glaive.

"Moe, stay back."

So are we in a surprise round or regular round?

regular round The orc near pip comes closer to pip to get ten feet away then throws a shuriken at pip1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17 The shuriken hits pip squarely in the thigh and seems to hurt more than a shuriken normally would with the viscous strength of the throw. 1d2 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 and the other orc comes closer and throws a shuriken at maol. 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 51d2 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5The shuriken near maol misses going over his head.

I should note that the orcs actually get two turns one for the unarmed ones that get shuriken and one for the orc whip person. And anna goes after the orc with a whip.

The elven warrior whirls his glaive overhead before slashing downward at the nearest orc while urging his horse to rear and kick with its hoofs.

Glaive 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18 ... damage 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10 x3 slash, reach, trip

Horse Hoof 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (6) - 2 = 4 ... damage 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Maol hits the orc with his galive slashing a hole in what he now recognizes is a female orc in the chest which starts bleeding. The orc with a whip is seems nervous Moe having not acted yet and casts a magical spell causing grease to come under his donkey

1d20 + 0 ⇒ (19) + 0 = 19 Which miraculously does not fall down. Anna to act and can change action.

Anna casts Ray of frost at the one attacking Pip or the caster one.

Pip takes a step back, loads, and fires on the Orc directly in front of her.

Anna ray of frost misses the orc attacking pip to the left. Pips crossbow bolt however hits the orc squarely but she still seems to be fighting. The orc that attacked pip seems to to try to chace after her leaving an opportunity for Maoldurra to take an attack of oppurtunity.

The other orc however takes a 5 foot step closer to Maol and only manages to get one punch off it teh wounded state. 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 Which however misses.

Maols gets attack of oppurtunity and can act. will get map up later

Seeing an opportunity Maol rips his glaive at the orc chasing Pip.

AoO Glaive1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8 ... damage 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 x3 slash, reach, trip

Maol urges his horse back to create room to swing and cuts again at his orc.

Glaive1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25 ... damage 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

Maol chance with the first glaive to attack the moving orc misses. His second stroke agianst the orc coming closer to him lands true and she is now bleeding even more. Moe now tries to help on his donkey to make Maoldurra harder to hit.aid another 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13 Maol gets +2 AC until next turn The whip orc however tries another grease spell on Anna anna's horse and pip this time to try to make them fall over. Anna and pip to make reflex saves and act.

The orc near her in an attempt to attack stomps near pip 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 151d6 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10 Smashing pip while prone to take who takes 10 damage ow vicious stomp feat is painful.

edit the attack hits becuase pip is prone.

Pip screams as the Orc smashes her frail body. She desperately casts a spell while trying to defend herself at the same time.
Concentration DC17: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17
CLW: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
that was close
Pip drops her crossbow and draws her mace, remaining prone. Precious few of her wounds were cured by the spell.
