Bupkis |

Bupkis cautions everyone, "Yellow dust on the rug — anyone knows what that is?"
He asks Amira, "What is the story of Lokmorr? He kept in cage here? How long time is that?"

Amira Ravenheart__ |

"The story is depicted in that room we came through earlier and its title is 'Lokmorr the Betrayer'. I'm not sure how long ago it was, but the stories about Nargrym Steelhand are old - centuries old." Amira tells. "Lokmorr killed Nargrym out of envy and got punished by burying him with Nargrym."

Menrozzar Vyrlock |

"Probably some sort of poison or mold spore. Does anyone have any way of clearing it?"

Daseem |

Listening to Amira, Daseem rather tentatively suggested, "Oil m-mebbe?"
Alchemist's fire might be better.

Bupkis |

"Bupkis has alchemist's fire," the goblin suggests. "Can try scraping off mold from distance."
Bupkis could try scraping the mold off using Telekinetic Finesse, and then burning it.

Ivan "The Mountain" Ironbrow |

Ivan steps up. I can call upon tha flames O' my ancestor's forges if we need magical fire. Well, I think I can. I've ne'er tried it as of yet.
can use the item mastery advanced weapon training option to cast burning hands.

Daseem |

I looked into this too, there's a couple of lvl 1-3 fire related cleric spells things like boiling blood but they seem useless here usually needing to touch something.

Bupkis |

Bupkis declares, "Me scrapes mold from rug, Ivan burns it!"
When everyone is ready, he floats his knife over to the rug, and starts scraping off the mold.
Standing back, Bupkis will use Basic Telekinesis to move his dagger over to the rug, and Telekinetic Finesse to try to scrape off the mold. He can give his alchemist's fire to someone else ahead of time if they want.

If bupkis is successful, Ivan will approach closer and point his hammer towards the mold. After several seconds, a gout of flame fans outwards from the top of his hammer.
using martial flexibility to pick up advanced weapon training item mastery energy mastery. I can use burning hands two more times today. 4/5 martial flexibility left.

Foxy Quickpaw |

The scraping off doesn't really work. But dousing the rug in flames does, the mold turns brown.
Unfurling the rug shows a bronze abacus with hematite beads (worth 600 gp), a large drinking horn engraved with entwining oak leaves and silver inlays (worth 135 gp), an ivory measuring rod with carved Dwarven numbers (worth 25 gp), an obsidian statuette of a female fire giant (worth 250 gp), a wooden box containing a set of eight bronze measuring weights (from 1/4 ounce up to 5 ounces) carved to resemble squatting goblins (worth 130 gp), and a sack holding 400 cp.

Daseem |

Daseem peered at the junk they'd uncovered, no doubt some it would fetch a princely sum but much to Tessa's chagrin Daseem had never been interested in artwork or gold if he was honest. Perhaps the statuette's could be used as improvised weapons in a pinch...
Poking around the room Daseem wondered if there was anything else here?

Bupkis |

Bupkis tries to explain the best he can, "Somehow Lokmorr the Betrayer here in the tomb. Something escapes iron cage, so Lokmorr maybe kept there? Still don't understand if was undead or what. Slain now!" It all seems terribly confusing.

Daseem |

Daseem comments, [b]"Difficult to s-slay whatever it was... Nasty mould t-on everything too..."/[b]

Daseem |

Daseem really wasn't sure what to do next, they hadn't really found anything significant, perhaps this was a busy. Glancing at the others he asked tentatively, "W-what should we do now?"

Bupkis |

After helping Ingrahild and Umlo clean up the tomb, Bupkis searches around some more.

Did we find some weapons, and I missed it?

"These 'boots of the winterlands' are for cold weather and help walking on snow. I hope we don't have to go to that climate." Amira shudders at the thought. "This armor, made of fignernails of giants, also has some magical properties. Besides protection, it either intimidates or enrages giants. It's disgusting."
"Last we have this spear. It is a giant bane longspear, that cruelly rips out flesh when pulling out after critically driving it in."
"The steelhand is magic too, but as no one is lacking a hand..."
Nargrym Steelhand took this spear from the dead hands of
the taiga giant warlord Neveraka, and used the weapon for
the rest of his giantslaying career.
Fitted with a menacingly cruel 2-foot-long barbed iron
head, this Large +1 giant-bane longspear can skewer an
opponent, lodging beneath the flesh and holding fast.
On a confirmed critical hit with the spear, Heartspit’s
wielder can attempt a combat maneuver check to
grapple the target as a free action. This grapple
attempt does not provoke an attack of opportunity
from the target if that creature is not threatening the
wielder. While grappling a creature with Heartspit,
the wielder can move or damage the target with
the spear only on the wielder’s turn. The wielder
is still considered grappled, though he does not
have to be adjacent to the target to continue
the grapple. If the wielder ends the grapple or
the target successfully breaks the grapple, the
target takes 4d6 points of slashing damage
as the spear’s barbed head is ripped free.
Giant’s Nail Scale Mail
Nargrym Steelhand crafted this scale mail coat from
fingernails pried from the hands of hill giants he had slain.
This thick coat of +2 scale mail is crafted from waxy
scales of varying sizes with a sickly, jaundiced color—the
grime-stained fingernails of dead hill giants. Any
creature of the giant subtype who comes
within 30 feet of giant’s nail scale mail
must succeed at a DC 16 Will save or
take a –4 penalty on attack rolls and
saving throws for 1d4 rounds. This ability
functions as a gaze effect. It is a mind-
affecting fear effect, but it does not stack
with other fear effects to create stronger
fear conditions. A giant who succeeds at the
saving throw is immune to this effect for 24
hours. If a giant rolls a natural 20 on its saving
throw, it becomes enraged by the sight of the
armor. The giant gains the effects of the rage
spell for 1d4 rounds and is compelled to attack
the armor’s wearer for the duration of this effect.

Bupkis |

Bupkis says, "OK, we have giant-slaying weapons. Where we go now?"
I've forgotten if we have a lead to another location.

Daseem |

"This armor, made of fignernails of giants, also has some magical properties. Besides protection, it either intimidates or enrages giants. It's disgusting."
"What?!" grunted Daseem in disbelief. He gave the armour a sidelong glance, that sounded more than a little unpleasant!
"B-burn it?" he ventured.

Bupkis |

Bupkis checks with Ingrahild and Umlo, "Tomb good? We help if more needs doing." Goblins don't worry much about burial sites, but he can tell that it's important to dwarves.
Once he's sure the tomb is adequately restored, he declares, "Ready to go to Minderhall Valley."

Foxy Quickpaw |

"No, it's fine. It is our honor and duty to finish this work and restore order to our ancestor's grave. And to burn this traitor and all that were with him" Ingrahild tells. And Umlo nods.
Bupkis decides, that he'll help anyway until it is finished and stay for the following celebration. Umlo gut a bottle of dwarven ale he opens for the occasion and offers some for all who'd like.
After a good night's rest they say their goodby and part ways.
The way to Minderhal Valley is about 40 miles and it's no easy path as it runs right through the wooded mountains. On the second day of travel, it gets easier. You reach a river that runs in the same direction as your path of travel. An overgrown footpath runs alongside the stream, allowing for faster travel. In the afternoon you come upon a remote cottage.
In a small clearing a few hundred feet from the stream, a wisp of smoke trickles from the chimney of a two-story stone cottage. Its front door has been bashed inward, its splintered panels hanging crookedly from a single hinge. Several large chips mar the exterior stonework and a sizable hole has been torn in the thatched roof. Loud crashing noises come from within.

Bupkis |

Bupkis is unsure about Umlo's dwarven ale. He tries a sip, and finds it bitter, but curiously refreshing after a hot day's work. In the morning he bids them goodbye and wishes them a safe journey.
He looks at the scenery and wildlife as they travel through the rugged terrain. When they spot a cottage on the second day, he advises his companions, "Bupkis sneaks and has a look."
He moves carefully and quietly towards the structure, wanting to remain hidden from whomever is making so much noise.
