The characters you folks are creating should be fun to see how they all play off each other.
My backstory involves some community engagement, so if anyone wanted to have a shared background (friends or enemies), I'm open to suggestions.

Well, Odds are My character doesn't know you Brennus, but he considers you a friend.
Brennus might have helped Tagolan out with repairing or making him a bow. Defending the people from subterranean horrors requires functional equipment, which Brennus would happily help provide if the materials were available.

Being a hunter scavenger is very possible that talirin knows you or many of you fairly well. ..even the goblin. He is s bit of an outcast himself.

Which is the ultimate test of any goblin song.
Between the three main candidates, does it feel like we've got a pro-people person, a pro-government person, and a moderate? I'm just curious about this based on what i've read so far.
What times are the speeches going to be? and when will we ask questions?
The speeches will be at whenever the candidate of that day is able to put it up. Preferably earlier in the day and then post your question and wait for them to respond. Being a pbp game I can't expect everyone to be locked to a certain time.

How did I know someone was gonna pull the race card on Benny? I think I was asking for it being a goblin and all.

I'm actually thinking of bonking blonde guy on the head and stating I don't see him up there with any ideas. Unfortunately, I do agree with him though. We're not likely to be taken seriously with a goblin the head of our nation.

Also, would we be using the alternate poisoning rules? They keep poison relevant by giving them their dc halved in just straight hp damage.

I just realized that the three duke candidates would be perfect as a ruling council. Jalel in charge of diplomacy, Rose in charge of the various guilds, and benny leading the military XD

I already intend to invite benny to be among my advisors should I win. Jalel, had a lot of pretty words and not much substance, though I may make him secretary of agriculture. And actually I did that multiple times, I've just caught it all the times before anybody else commented.

Most tunnels have been fully explored. A few go very far down. Those that have been sent on deep explorations of these have never returned.

Setting:
Spire city a place with tall buildings, fast cars, golden beaches, beautiful people and horrific murder... Over the past month bodies have been found crucified and slashed up in dark ally's and inside once warm homes by what the news has deemed the Countdown killer. Each body has been found with an ominous number in the victims own blood painted next to it. So far the numbers have been and in this order: 13,12,11...
Spire is a fascinating City with ancient medieval ruins within certain areas and a lot more in the surrounding area outside the city. It has been said treasures and mysterious artifacts may be held within some of these ruins but people who have tried to obtain them have said strange and dark forces chased them out. There are also rumors that deep under Spire there is a massive labyrinth. And even crazier stories tell that horrific murderous creatures roam inside of it.
Goal: So you will be average folk in a modern city setting. It is a L.A inspired city in style, size and population. Your goal is to solve the mysteries in your normal life You are exceptional people who have been having strange dreams that leave you wondering what they could mean.
Rules:
D20 modern characters.
Races: Young Humans only (under thirty-five and over fourteen)
Level: 3
Stats: 20 point buy

Not so much for me, had it not been for the fact benny doesn't actually want to rule, it would have been a difficult choice.
