Chuffy, aka Uktar |
"I save you, Reta! Then we lick giant dead toad and make strong babies! Form great tribe!"
Chuffy attempts to cartwheel into flank position on the giant toad
Acrobatics v Vorka CMD: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27
Acrobatics v Toad CMD: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24
And if he survives his foolish tumble:
flanking att v toad: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 5 + 2 = 27
slashing dmg: 1d4 - 1 + 1d6 ⇒ (3) - 1 + (4) = 6
flanking crit: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 5 + 2 = 27
slashing dmg: 1d4 - 1 ⇒ (1) - 1 = 0 which would mean a whopping 1 point NL from his mighty crit.
And my d20 will never roll that well on PbP ever again... lol
Dystopian Reta |
"Reta think about it if not eaten soon. Zarongel behind her, though. Chuffy almost as brave as Reta."
She slashes again at the toad.

Chuffy turns makes some impressive leaps and somersaults, landing across the frog from Reta and delivering a deadly blow with his dogslicer as he makes a suggestion Reta is unlikely to commit to. Reta fails to mirror the attack, and Mogmurch chucks his last bomb at Vorka, burning her some more and making her catch on fire. Both enemies now look severely beaten, but are still standing and fighting. Lord Longtung fails to damage any either of the goblins, but Vorka retaliates by running to Mogmurch and scratching him with her scimitar dealing 1 damage.

Dystopian Reta |
A deep growl grows in Reta's chest as she pitches forward, growling and gnashing her teeth at Vorka.
"Reta Bigbad, Licktoad Herooooooo!"
But she's in too much of a hurry and begins to lose grip on her sword somehow, altering her swing.

Reta adds another failure to her miss streak as she fails to end the cannibal. Chuffy should really find something new to fight for. Vorka, gnashing her bloodied teeth, sidesteps and tries to slash at Reta, but her hands are barely holding on to the scimitar and she misses by a margin.

Assuming Reta moves to flank, Chuffy sends his dogslicer into Vorka and cuts her belly open, soaking her apron in yet more goblin blood and filling the room with an annoying, cannibalistic stench. After a short break for victorious dancing and singing, you search the room. The man-things are certainly worth something. The majority of these objects are filthy and broken, but 10 minutes or so of sorting and scavenging turns up some interesting finds. All of these items (broken and functional alike) are strangely decorative, depicting colorful serpentine dragons, towering cliffs, delicate humanoid figures, and strange pagodas (not that a goblin would know a pagoda from a tool shed). Even the filthy or broken clutter here could be worth about 600 gp to the right collector, but as they are mostly made of bamboo, exotic wood, and in some cases paper, they’re probably more fun to burn. Among the more obviously valuable objects are 140 gp, a bejeweled silver and jade lantern built to look like a coiled dragon worth 150 gp, a dozen masterwork shuriken, an ivory and gold fan depicting a gecko walking amid cherry blossoms worth 80 gp, a long hairpin with a red pearl at one end worth 150 gp, a wand of create food and water with only 2 charges left, and an elixir of love in a crystal vial shaped like a heart (the vial itself is worth 50 gp).
The red chest, though, is the object of your quest. Unlocked, it contains several fireworks. The chest itself is heavy and worth 150 gp, and there were obviously once many more fireworks within (Scribbleface managed to steal many of them by sneaking into this room while Vorka was out hunting), but those that remain should be more than enough to satisfy the chief for at least a few days. The fireworks in the chest consist of 14 Desnan candles, 20 paper candles, and seven skyrockets.
You return to the goblin village as heroes. A big feast is given in their honor, and His Mighty Girthness Chief Rendwattle Gutwad decides the lucky Chuffy, great hero of many stabbings, should marry his daughter - the fearsomely corpulent and ferociously lusty Gupy Wartbits. The remaining goblins receive important titles too, with Reta becoming Head Village Longshanks Chopper, Poog declared as Master of the Pig Pit of Squeualy Nord, and Mogmurch earning the new title of Maker and Thrower of Explody Things.
And with that, we're done! I hope you all enjoyed the game, despite it being longer than it should have been. I'm in a bit of a tough spot in life, and not a very experienced GM too. Still, may we meet again on the fields of PbP, and have a good day! Chronicle sheets will probably be up tomorrow at some point.
