When Hullric approaches the wide brass doors, they swing open on silent hinges to reveal a vast crypt. The only light emanates from a torch mounted above the crypt, flickering with a pale golden fre. Tall pillars march across the chamber, ending at a dais on the far side, on which is set a large stone sarcophagus. A single form rests beside the coffin, that of a comely woman in tattered clothing. She appears to be asleep or unconscious.

"So, Kassen’s heroes have come to fight me again. You will make fne minions in my army of the dead. Come and meet your fate." With that, a wicked-looking skeleton strides into view wearing polished mail and brandishing a cruel sword in both hands. A cold blue flame burns in its empty eye sockets.

It would be a real shame if he didn't give it a try and it looks like this might be his last chance.

Rowdy is eager enough to get at more bones when Reggie touches his flanks and the halfling lowers his lance for a CHARGE!

Asar sees the threat in front of him wielding a weapon capable of smashing his bones and he hisses as he attempts to disarm Zoey's shield.

Disarm, Flank: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (19) + 13 = 32 and he does so well, Zoey drops the targeted shield and her sword, leaving her defenseless and weaponless in the midst of the enemies.

"Foolish hero, let us see how you fare without your precious shield!"

He then follows up with a claw attack hoping her reduced defenses prove to make her an easier target.

Claw, -5 secondary, Flank: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17 but even without her shield, Zoey's grey maiden plate is more than enough to thwart the blow.

The fact that Zoey's shield is strapped to her arm really throws Asar for a twist, but the surprise is hard to read on his bony face.

As discussed, treat the strap on the shield as a weapon cord: move action to ready the shield to be used.

There's no room to use his lance again and, with a heavy sigh, Reggie lets it drop, pulling free his halfling sling staff as he urges Rowdy toward the next closest skeleton. At the same time, he imparts guidance on the group, calling out methods for knocking their opponents off their feet. And that includes Rowdy.

Free action to drop the lance. Move action to draw his halfling sling staff. Standard action to use his tactician ability to give everyone the Tandem Trip Feat.

Tandem trip - Whenever you attempt a trip combat maneuver against an enemy threatened by an ally with this feat, you roll twice and take the better result.

Rowdy gets really confused by his sudden understanding of common and strategy and misses the skeleton in front of him.

Hullric smashes the skeleton flanking Zoey.

Andy's sling bolt goes wide and strikes the wall.

The ghost of Stigand gives Zoey 5% concealment as he briefly flickers into reality! Only because I doubt it will do anything, but it sounds great!

Zoey readjusts her grip on her shield, spins and cracks Asar square in his wickedly-grinning face.

"Go around, hit her from behind!" Asar commands his skeletons.

One of them shambles around (5ft step) and begins clawing with Asar's flank.

"Oloch! No!" Reggie shouts as another of his adventuring companions is dropped low. Fortunately, it does not seem like it is an immediately lethal blow and he knows there is plenty of healing to be had. He can't get to the main threat, though, as there are too many friends and foes in the way.

Instead, he has Rowdy shift so that one of the honor guard is between him and Zoey and makes a swing to crack open its skull with his sling staff.

Reggie and Rowdy can't seem to find their mark and both miss their attacks.

Andy keeps signing and pulls out a potion. I don't believe you need an action to remove your backpack before you pull something out of it, so just take the move action to pull out the potion, leaving you with a standard.

Zoey shields up before the might of Asar, hoping her skill with her shield will prove to be enough to deflect any more attacks.

Hullric heals Oloch a great deal, but the mighty warpriest is still unconscious, but his bleeding stops.

The remaining skeleton goes after Zoey, following the basic concept of defending Asar.

Concealment: 1d100 ⇒ 90
Claw: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Claw: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
But both claw's smack into Zoey's raised shield.

Oloch dreams of becoming stronger and fighting more powerful enemies that can continue to knock him down, but leave him wanting for more.

Asar, having only one remaining threat in front of him, attacks Zoey with his new greatsword, however, he holds back a little, hoping to make his attack more accurate to get around her shield.

Concealment: 1d100 ⇒ 100 but Stigand's ghost flashes in front of Asar's bony eye sockets and his attempt fails!
Just to see if he would have hit: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17 nope lol
