Saddened that he was unable to strike a knock out blow against the monk, Wylka now uses his full force to strike at the monk before he can retaliate.
AoO Glaive: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15

Wylka moves back into the room and reaches down and touching the monk. "You won't die monk. But it will benefit us if you remain unconscious for now."
Used Sacred Touch to stabilize the monk.
"Locking the door or blocking the door should do enough. He is probably going to be out for a few hours anyway."
Wylka shuts the door to the monk's room and grabs anything available to block it before returning to the group and the prisoners.

Argenta Ibn Jad

With the monk disabled Argenta turns to the raven haired woman. Could I see that chisel please? If you are concerned about protecting yourself then take my dagger she says handing the woman the weapon, hilt first.
If she hands it over Argenta will examine the pommel to see what it contains, if anything.
Looking at the statue Argenta will also cast detect magic, examining it.
Arcana: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
| GM Valen |
Hannar correctly concludes that the statue is somehow magical, but can tell little more.
Tatiana works on removing the manacles from the remaining prisoners.
Like Hannar, Argenta also concludes that the statue is magical as she senses a strong aura coming off of it, but she cannot ascertain much more.
The raven-haired woman glares at Argenta, grasping tightly to the chisel.
@ Argenta - You may give me another Intimidate check (DC 20) in an attempt to get the woman to comply with your request.
PLEASE NOTE: I am pausing the game for 24 hours to give Barbra and Fernando each an opportunity to post as each has begun the process of working on a "faction mission" that I am hoping to resolve before continuing on to the next encounter and which may be reflected on the current season's faction card. I have sent each a PM with a request for a post, is possible.
@ Barbra and Fernando - I plan to continue to move one within the next 24 hours whether or not you have posted.

Glad to see all the prisoners are freed from their chains, but he waits for the others to gain further information. Especially with the raven-haired woman before moving on to the room with the statue.
Barbra the Barbarbarbarian
|
While the rest of the party beats up the monk, Barbra will (timidly) escort the prisoners to one side of the room and help them barricade themselves with tables and chairs so that they may defend themselves if need be. While doing so, she (again timidly, almost in a whisper) asks their names.
”I-I-I’m s-s-unposed to ask w-what message y-you have for our-NO YOUR-y-your s-s-sw-sweet m-mistress.”
| GM Valen |
Barbra the Barbarbarbarian
|
Barbra approaches the two feuding women and, without a word, hands her spare (normal) shaving razor (Kukri) to the raven-haired woman and gently tries to take the chisel from her and hand it to Tatiana. Then (if things go well) she tries to escort her to where the others are. (And repeats the process of asking her name and doing the thing with the raven-haired woman.)
| GM Valen |
Due to her fear of Argenta, the raven-haired woman is compliant, giving the chisel over to Argenta and accepting Barbra’s razor. She then follows Barbra to the area with the others.
Barbra the Barbarbarbarian
|
Barbra shirks at the potential conflict, backing up and shielding herself with her arms as if she has been attacked physically. "P-p-please. I-I don't ha-have anything to d-do with that. I-I-I was j-just told t-to ask you that q-question. I-if I d-don't get the information, s-s-sweet m-m-mistress will be most c-cross with me."
If a diplomacy check is needed: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (2) - 2 = 0

The raven-haired woman, Sananda, spitefully tosses Barbra's razor on the ground and turns her back on the barbarbarbarian.
Sananda then turns to glare at Argenta and the other Pathfinders, "Do you intend to keep us prisoners as well? Or are we free to go?"

Sorry, Australian hours have messed up my posting habits. Was hoping to do the faction mission after everything was resolved.
Fernando, seeing everything is in order, goes back to the first floor where they entered the building, and tries to disarm the statue's head carefully.
"I'll be back in a giffy"-says the dwarf with a smile.
Taking 10 to reach a 17.

Argenta will show the piece of cloth to the rest of the group. This seems quite sensitive information, we should probably return it to the Thakurs men when we meet with them.

@ Fernando - I apologize, if I was being too presumptuous. I didn't intend to force your PC into taking actions intended for later. I just wanted to make sure that no one got left behind or felt they were denied a reasonable opportunity to take action.

Beyond the workshop is a large hall, which is relatively clean and empty. A few racks on the walls contain wooden training weapons, and targets and straw dummies stand here and there.
The walls of this large open room still hold the traces of plaster and paint from what was once a large fresco. Not enough remains of the mural to determine its subject matter. Weapon racks are mounted on the north wall on either side of the entrance and contain a variety of wooden practice weapons.
In front of a large alcove in the southern wall stands a wooden statue, which the magic users among the party have identified as possessing or being the subject of some sort of magic.
Argenta Ibn Jad
|
Argenta cautiously enters the room and activates a wand again. We know its magic and its between us and the door. Do we have much choice but to trigger whatever effect it has?
Before moving in further she gives it a careful look over to see if the magic might be some sort of trap.

From what I can tell, the answer is yes and per missile, though I am happy to consider arguments to the contrary.

Barbra will take a single move up close to it, drawing her ‘barber’s razors’ as she does. She takes a tentative slash at it despite the fact that she’s five not close to it by far. She does however, assume a defensive stance. And looks worried, but that’s normal.
Single move gets me five feet away from it. I’ll go defensive for the +3 to AC. Technically I have to attack for that, according to RAW, so I’ll attack the air in front assuming an invisible creature if that’s a point of contention.

From what I've been reading, animated objects count as constructs for AC purposes and have a specific hardness to damage. Energy damage is reduced by half before hardness is even applied. Basically, Argenta and I are screwed....unless she has grease or something she can cast under it.

Hardness for creatures works differently to hardness for objects, it just reduces the damage by hardness.

Seeing the party attack a moving statue, Fernando first thinks it's best to fire at it with his crossbow. However, seeing as Wylka's attacked did nothing, decides its better to improvise.
He moves towards the action, and pulls out his 50 ft. rope.
As he does so, he throws one end of it towards Hannar, saying "Hannar! Catch! Do you think this thing knows how to jump the rope? I sure hope you do, Barbra!"-he says with a smile.
