“You got me, kid, Envar will have 1 more week to come up with the credits.” Giving another free sample of her wares Razor orders her bodyguards to follow her as they leave the Lounge.

Watching to make sure that she leaves peacefully you turn back to see Envar partaking in both shares of the samples. His drug induced state will definitely be hitting a new high. He smiles and slips, catching himself on the bar. "Maybe we should move to someplace a bit more relaxing. The Sixth Floor of Brilliance has a Solar Observatory."

While on the elevator, Envar enthusiastically gushes "The view of teh sun from up there is magnificent! Good thing we will have the place all to ourselves. The scientists that usually work there are a real drag."

Both north and south elevators open into the foyer, and from there two locked doors lead to the restricted areas of the observatory. The elevator doors slide open to reveal a chamber with goldenhued metal floor and walls. Plasma screens on the south wall stretch from floor to ceiling and display crisp, breathtaking images of space. A fluorescent mural on the floor depicts the stages of a solar eclipse. Two silver doors to the east and west lead farther into the observatory.

Diversion:
When you successfully use Bluff to create a distraction, you can allow an ally to attempt a Stealth check to hide (instead of attempting to hide yourself). You can attempt to allow multiple allies to use Stealth to hide, but you take a –5 penalty to your Bluff check for every ally after the first, and on a failed check no ally can attempt to hide.

Darqen has no problem moving about without Envar noticing. Envar stares intently at the screens on the south wall and murmurs, “I can see, like, the whole universe from here.” Envar stands mystified in front of the screen.

Darqen attempts to pas through the door to the east and finds it very secure. Retinal scanners affixed to the east and west walls allow the doors to slide open when an authorized person presents his key card.

Alejandro clapping him on the back seems to knock the man out of his fugue state. "Oh, yes...Sorry." he apologizes and moves to the western retinal scanner, opening the door with his keycard.

The sun blazes above the transparent, domed ceiling of this gold metal room. An enormous gray-and-silver telescope is mounted near the western wall and points up toward the ceiling. A halfcircle desk and associated chairs rest near the northwestern wall. A dark-silver control station in front of the northern wall houses twin computer terminals. A set of silver shelves juts out from the northeastern wall, displaying various scientific instruments and tools.

Arch Energy Consortium scientists observe and record solar phenomena in this laboratory. The enormous telescope mounted to the floor in the southwestern corner is positioned to view the sun through the lab’s protective shielding. To the northwest of the telescope, a holoscreen hangs above a round metal table surrounded by hovering chairs. The computers in the northern control panel control the various layers of shields surrounding the observatory, including a dimensional shield and airlock.

Darqen moves and begins to mess around with one of the computers. The ysoki is able to get past the countermeasures with ease and finds that it is just a monitoring station for the temperature levels and activity on the Sun.

Astrator's questions fall on deaf ears once again as the drug addled Envar approaches the telescope. A holo-projection of Ilia Tamm appears near the telescope and announces, “Guest safety is important to Arch Energy. Only authorized personnel may enter this restricted area.” Envar saunters over to the control panel and lounges in one of the hovering chairs within the console area, spinning it and giggling. “Mother,” he addresses the projection of Ilia, “you never let me play this game when I was a kid. Finally, I’ll get my high score! Check this out!” Envar mashes the buttons on the control panel. A loud droning sound fills the room, and the floor vibrates. The sun above appears brighter as a shield lowers.

Envar’s tampering lowers the dimensional shield, and a pair of solar elementals materializes in front of the control panel, focused into being by the momentarily lowered shield. These elementals are similar to fire elementals, save that they’re formed from a combination of fire and a small spark of radioactive energy from the surface of the sun. The elementals are essentially feral creatures, formed with no concept of their existence or purpose. They immediately attack the Starfinders.

Hoping that Envar will access the computers for them, or at least give them some useful information Alejandro lets him bash away at the keyboard in his addled state. His eyes go wide as the alarms sound and the solar screen starts to drop. Standing there stunned, he is to surprised to act when the two elemental beings materialize.

Astrator steps back, drawing his Azimuth rifle as Darqen fires his laser right into the center of one of the Solar Elementals.

The laser has no effect as it burns into the flames. From what Darqen knows of Solar Elementals is that they are immune to fire damage. They also emit solar radiation out from their bodies, injuring everything nearby as they emit a medium level of radiation. Though they are very vulnerable to cold damage.

The solar elementals split and attack Darqen and Astrator.

Alejandro pleads with Envar as he slashes his knife defensively through the air. The radiation soaks right through Zimsi's armor and into his skin, burning him. Zimsi bluffs the elemental as he pretends to dive behind the telescope, throwing it's footing off.

Astrator manages to keep the radiation at bay as he draws his knife.

Alejandro begins a small bit of coordination as he slashes his blade at the other elemental, and manages to catch something solid in the process.

Zimsi can't take much more from them and works on withdrawing behind the scope. He barely manages to get away as the radiation soaks into his body further.

Astrator slashes his own knife at the already wounded elemental as he hears that nearly all of the Starfinders laser weapons are useless. Astrator takes the full brunt of the mild radiation as it soaks into his circuits, melting them slightly.

Darquen dives in with his baton and cracks the red solar elemental over the head. The creature dissipates and returns to the sun.

The remaining solar elemental bears down on both Alejandro and Astrator.

Astrator dodges a lethal blow as Alejandro drops like a sack of potatoes as the elemental slams into his body, instantly knocking him out as he cracks his head.

You don't go below 0 HP. You are now Unconscious and Dying. At the end of each round (Starting next) you lose 1 RP. There are three ways to stabilize. (CRB Page 250-251)
1. Someone perform first aid DC 15 Medicine Check.
2. Any sort of healing
3. Spend RP = to 1/4 your max (Min 1). This will end the dying effect. You can spend additional RP to Stay in the fight by spending 1 additional RP. If you do you gain 1 HP and become conscious once again.

The elementals radiation continues to leak.

I'm not exactly sure what an additional 2 damage would do at this point, but I certainly take it.

The damage comes at the start of the turn so nothing really for you as it would damage. You would stay 0 Hp and then stabilize. Though next round it could start killing you again.

As the radiation soaks deeper into his unconscious body, it saps more of his resolve. Taking the very last bit that he has, Alejandro barely clings to life.

Astrator, you should only have to spend 1 RP to Stabilize. I lost an extra one on my turn because I was at 0 and then took more damage.

Also, Alejandro is currently stabilized and has an Mk1 Healing on his body so if we do get a chance I'd suggest using his instead of your own. But thank you very much for thinking of me first instead of yourself!!!

Alejandro's body is ravaged by the radiation as Zimsi's hands shake too much and tosses his aim off by a small margin.

Astrator's nanobites begin to seal the holes in his frame to stop him from leaking out too much as Darqen saves everyone's life. With last precise slash from his dagger the solar elemental returns to the sun, leaving behind a small pile of ash in its absence.

Envar squeals with glee and rushes over. He goes on to post an infosphere-wide update, along with a selfie of himself and you that reads “Envar and friends 1, Sun 0.” Even though Alejandro and Astrator are prone on the ground with small pools of blood and chemical fluid underneath them.

That was a tough fight when everyone brought lasers with them :)

Wow! That fight really had TPK potential! ;-) To be honest also the first fight with the alien beast was really hard and Astrator saved the day!!! Good team work!

Darqen is speechless and looks at the remains of the elementals with horror. Then he immediately starts to check if anybody needs first aid!

Is everybody stabilized now?

Yup, everyone is stabilized, though Alejandro is out of resolve so he will not be able to rest to regain Stamina. Just heal for HP is all. Hope you guys have a few healing serums.

After resting Darqen looks through his comrades gear and uses Alejandro's healing serum on him.
