After this game concludes, I am definitely using my free retrain to turn this guy into an inspired blade with fencing grace. I don't think waiting until level three for his build to come together will happen.
Also, I'm buying a blunt weapon. Haha.

Play how ever you want. One of my characters didn't come together until level four, and now at level five is quite fun!

HI kel, hope you don't mind me 'evilling' you, but seeing as your right in the firing line and the aura damage is going to keep coming... it seemed like the only helpful thing i could do was to try and help keep you upright...
Morrin the Stout

Oh jeez! Medic! We need a medic to help the medic!
Just waiting on Hakuzo and we should hopefully be able to get out of this....

Trying something that may help out, but might end the adventure early!
Hold on to your butts!

Owwww!!!! These guys HURT!!!
In other news, please don't kill it by me and Febida. The explosion will suck bad for us.
Morrin the Stout

Hmm, time to try another trick!
This time, with less explosions.
Morrin the Stout

Sweet! That was a nail biter for sure!

Experimenting with something new. If you could indulge me I created a reporting form so people don't have to blast their email addresses out on the forum. If you could fill out the reporting form for me. That would be fantastic

Yes! you do still have a bit to go. I am just testing the new tool and getting sheets made up early as depending on posts it could go very quick.

Day Job Roll: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
Just rolling it here to populate the reporting sheet.

Cleaning the rooms from rowdy guests isn't fun!
Annnnnnd, form filled!

Just got home from first session of GMing, and have a headache. I'll get something posted in the morning.

Congrats! What was it?
I've considered GMing something local, but I'm not sure the proper way to go about getting it set up.
Then again, the only GM experience I have IRL is from a group of slightly mental young adults that wanted to take my world and make it theirs in every way possible.

It was my first time being a GM, pretty much, and the VO of the area was at my table, so there may have been some self induced stress. Fortunately, everything went well with the time slot and RP opportunities.

Excellent. Sounds like it went well though! I recently had something similar happen to me. Did not have a VO sit at my table but I am now GM'ing the Giant Slayer AP for GM Painlord, GM EndlessForms, GM Boldstrider, GM Rah, and GM Tektite.
Which scenario did you end up running?

Local stuff you can just do flyers at your FLGS to find interest or there is usually a Venture Captain for each state that you can set up something with.
That sounds like a couple of guys in a home AP that I run. They believe that the story should be about their characters instead of letting the story shape their characters.

I ran The Wounded Wisp, which was quite fun, both running and playing at. Overall, the scenario was quite humorous, but that's what great role playing is about!
I'll also wait to see how red and green fare with the grease before posting Morrin's next move, but it won't be a delay, as the save should be on Ev's turn from Round 1.

I'll be away from a computer from the 20th thru the 28th, and won't be able to move tokens during that time. Taking a vacation in Seattle where a certain convention is taking place......

I may or may not have an addiction to society play... I do have to say though, I am enjoying it more so than my previous hobby of the video games. Plus, I get to meet people face to face during local game days.

Have a good time Morrin! Same here Steven. The whole reason I play PBP. :)
Morrin the Stout

Ouch. You could have a chat with the VO of the area, and see if you could find people who are interested, but that takes up quite a bit of time. Other than that, online is nice as for the most part, tables really don't have a time constraint, which is really nice for role play.
Morrin the Stout

Probably go completely mad, such as myself, before attempting pbp..... Having two jobs makes it seem too busy for me to do face to face games, but the part time job takes a back seat on game days unless absolutely necessary, which the store owner agrees with.

i'm just getting back into 'real' rpg's as opposed to computer games. It's not so much that i'm miles from people, but more work time commitments - i run evening classes, so that all the local games fall on nights when i'm working.
I am about to start playing 3.5 with some friends, but now i find the rule set really constrictive, i do think PF is much better. But the GM doens't like learning new rules :-(
Morrin the Stout
|
Same here about the night job. If I worked somewhat normal hours, I'd be able to make more games, rather than having to take off from work.
As for 3.5, it's quite special, but my only experience is from NWN 2, where Dex was king for certain classes.

Dandy, I'm jealous.
Does anyone have a class ability they want to use but haven't had to opportunity to?
Next locked door we find, I'm breaking it down and no one can stop me. Febida's Artifice Blessing allows her to bypass DR and Hardness when attacking constructs or objects.

Oh boy, just finished a level of Emerald Spire..... I guess 7:30 is going to be nice and early for me! I'll try to get more fun stuff in the scenario once I have time, but there may be a game for my summoner...

By golly, I think you got your trip off! Huzzah!

Whoo!! We did it!
Gentlemen, that was one of the most memorable and entertaining games I've had. I'm glad I have a new adventure for Febida to put under her belt.
Good luck with your future endeavors!
@GM Tyranius: Are you going to be running anything for lower level characters any time soon? I had a lot of fun and would love to be in another of your adventures.

I had a blast guys. Tons of fun and memorable highlights.
Especially the fight with the exploding undead.

I may here in a bit. I will post in the Lodge forums to look for people.
Here are the chronicles. Let me know if anything is goofy.

Woo, level two Telekineticist! Now I should be able to pick locks and disable traps from a distance. Bwahahahaha!
It was a great game with everybody, and thank you for GMing Tyranius!
So, who loves explody dead things? I like pushing them from high places myself.....

Great news is, after a bunch of GM credit and a retrain, Kel is roughly 97.6647% more effective than he was in this scenario. So, if you see him again, he'll be much more useful. :)
