This is a very fast paced special. The entire table will be on a timer so please be able to post at least once a day.

![]() |

sorry I missed the message on Friday... posting daily shouldn't be a problem for me now that the new year's celebrating has passed.

![]() |

Batpony reporting! Happy to be here, looking forward to my first special with everyone! His stats on paizo may not be latest but I have it on my digital sheet so I'll update it within A day or two!

![]() |

Mun, my Oracle, just finished up a scenario, so he's available for Blood Under Absalom. I need to add his most recent CRS and maybe make some purchases, but I will play him instead of Robyyn in this special.

![]() |

This was Laureglyn, but changing characters because Laureglyn is already in another game, my bad... I'll play this bard if that's okay...
player: JAF0
pfs #52335-15
faction: SC
day job if we can make one, perform: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25

Each player needs to acquire their own ruby. SO even if one player rolls multiple successes it doesn't mean you grab more rubies. There will be another chance for those who aren't able to get theirs.

![]() |

So I peeked behind the curtain. (I didn't realize it was a GM thread until I got there.)
I don't think what Shifty said refutes how Tyranius ruled. It is possible for each *player* to only acquire 1 ruby (Tyranius' ruling) and the *party* to have multiple rubies. The party could have up to 6 rubies, only one of which needs to glow to proceed.
Moving back around front now; it's spooky there behind the curtain!

![]() |

Yes, Party only needs one but your chances are much better if each member is able to grab ahold of a ruby.

![]() |

Sorry I wasn't on yesterday, I taught in the morning and then went to ABQ Comic-Con.

![]() |

I will be away for a few days... will have internet access in the evenings but not sure how reliable it will be... just a forewarning that I might be unable to post... if that happens, feel free to bot me as needed.

![]() |

Hey GM, I don't know how you rule, as there is still no FAQ on this hot topic, but If I dismiss the eidolon and bring him back, will the rubies be on her? or will the rubies just fall where she lies.

![]() |

I would say the rubies would go with the Eidolon.

![]() |

I've never realised stirges were magical! I've been making that mistake for a while now. You learn something everyday.

![]() |

If you don't have any weapons that you feel will work, you can always make a grapple check to escape the grapple.
But make a choice quickly! This is a timed game and we don't want to get behind the other tables. :)

![]() |

My posting may be sporadic from now through Monday. Please bot me if anything critical comes up.

![]() |

Ok Thanks for the update.

![]() |

@Talondreal: the end of the combat was explained here. It looks like GM hand-waved the conclusion because there was only 1 standing after the sleep spell and we'd have overwhelmed them. A good move, I think, given the timed nature of this scenario.

![]() |

Correct. Only 1 was standing after the sleep and Xukong killed her with his attack. So no conscious Aspis Agents remained. No need to stay in rounds at that point.
You can save your smite as it all ended before you were able to act.

![]() |

I just noticed that Gillii's got his information on here but the rest of us don't. Remind me - did the rest of us already provide it somewhere else, or should we still do that?

![]() |

Yup- Please post your character information for reporting purposes.

![]() |

player: I'm Hiding In Your Closet
pfs #40025-10
faction: Dark Archives
Craft (Metalworking): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (1) + 10 = 11
I'm also DMing this adventure (for a level 8-9 party) - I seem to be overlooking where it mentions the invitations to the play.

![]() |

@Xukong- Invitations are on page 24 in the development section for Area S7.

Player Name: JASON RODARTE
Character Name: Talondreal
PFS# 4330-12
Faction Silver Crusade
Profession Soldier 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

Player Name: Rob Riemersma (Zin Z'arin)
Character Name: Mun of Ashava
PFS #: 192785-1
Faction: Silver Crusade
Day Job: N/A

![]() |

Correct, though so far this is still the same day as you are rudely interrupted in your rooms. So after you rest you will heal 1 ability damage each night.

![]() |

Player Name: Tim P (Batpony)
Character Name: Kitt
PFS #: 222036-4
Faction: Dark Archives
Day Job: Prof Eng: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9

![]() |

Wait. I only see Talondreal getting hit once, for 5 damage. How is it he's been knocked out?
Also, if I used my infernal healing wand on Mun, would it deprive me of my remaining chill touch attack? What if I used my mage armor wand?

![]() |

The other 7 was from the readied action labeled if Talondreal opened the door that round found Here (Link)

![]() |

I would say no as you are just activating the wand and not casting the spell yourself. Though is this a new Chill touch that you cast? Otherwise your last attack would be the last charge as one charge was used in sewers and second on the assassin.

![]() |

You're thinking of my frostbite spell, not chill touch. I had both prepared.

![]() |

Mun doesn't have a CLW wand, unfortunately. I decided since he has every cure spell automatically (as an oracle) that it wasn't necessary.
Do I see now that I might have been wrong? Maybe....

![]() |

I must admit, that felt kind of cool, being one of only two people to save the entire party!

![]() |

Leaving for a con early in the am tomorrow and limited posting, if any, til then... please bot me as necessary to keep the flow of game going... thanks and see you all Monday night when i get home and catch up.

![]() |

It took all week for me to get caught up in all my games and now a sudden death in the family has me traveling up north tomorrow (thurs), a funeral on friday and driving home on saturday - This time I will have my computer with me but posting will probably only at night, same with sunday as I'll be at the oscars til late. sorry for any delays in gaming, but I should be back to normal daily posting on monday.
