Vojtek watches the world grow HUGE. As the walls, combatants, and furniture grow to ten times their original sizes, the barbarian is momentarily disoriented.

But, seizing upon his newly diminutive stature as a potential tactical advantage, the barbarian allows the stillness of the hunt to settle over him. For a few moments, he is again a little boy on the ice at the edge of the tundra. His grandfather is crouching beside him, and only the barest whisper of frosty breath escaping from his nose betrays the old man is alive.

By staying perfectly still, Vojtek and his grandfather can lull the seals into a trusting and relaxed state before the harpoon flies.

Just so, Vojtek holds perfectly still while the giant plant creature before him rages... soon, in the fullness of time, he will be able to strike it down with an unexpected fearsome blow! Grandfather will be proud this day.

Ali looks at Vojtek & Davosh as if they're insane--but since she does that a lot anyway, no one really takes note.

She closes with the plant in a roundabout way so as to avoid leaving herself open--but she's unable to set up a flank with Kappi because of it (maybe next round?). ON the way she charges her weapon with a powerful electric shock, and takes a swing!!

Five-star Hound of Tindalos. Er, GM. Whatever. | RoW Encounter Map | A Fistful of Flowers slides

The party returns to the small wooden shed with its front door bearing carvings of exotic plants.

Each of the dehydrated plant creatures fits perfectly into a carving: the assassin vine into the gnarled vine carving, the basidirond into the carving with four spidery stalks, and the shambling mound into the bipedal mass of tangled vines and dripping slime.

The shed door fades into nothing, and inside is a rather mundane garden shed, with numerous gardening tools, a pair of small tables covered in dirt and earth, and a small cupboard on the far wall.

    Kappi:

Kappi's hand wipes the grime from the left cupboard knob to reveal it to be a single larger ruby! Kappi estimates it's perhaps worth as much as 6,000 gp. Something is odd about it, though he cannot quite explain what.
