Reynaldo grabs the glaive held out by Ares, but doesn't manage to hit the creature!

The creature growls as the dwarf hits it and returns the favor!

The 12/30 was after the hit, but before the CLW. I missed your post in my con-crud fog. Puts me at 18 now, sorry for any confusion.

Ok, that is better since I thought you were at 1hp. With a tap from the wand, you will be up to 21 (unless you already added to get to 18). Ares will see what he can do for Reynaldo next.

Hammerfist will dismiss his hold portal and move up to pick the mundane lock if necessary.

Hammerfist tries to unlock the gate, but is unable. After a few more tries, he manages to get it though, and the party enters the room. Looking around finds nothing of interest. The is a pit in the eastern section of the room, but it looks only as if the creature was in it prior to attacking.

The party leaves the room and returns to the north/south hallway. Going north, the corridor turns to west, ending in a door. Hammerfist finds no traps and the party enters a large room.

Six stone slabs sit on the floor of this chamber. Heaped upon each are metal tools, gears, springs, and other parts for the construction of mechanical creations.

Hammerfist does not find any traps and the secret door is not locked. Opening the door reveal a narrow passage that goes south, then turns west. The passage continues west, then twists north, only to turn west again, before turning to the south once more. Looking down the corridor, the party sees two passages coming in from the east.
