The creature squeals again. Please, please! I'll tell you all I know. I points to the north of the door you entered. There is a secret door there that leads to the treasury. "Good Baron Sarvo wills it" is a pass phrase used somewhere along the way. I don't know where, I swear! It points to the brass plaque. Also that plaque is used somewhere as a key of sorts. Once again, I do not know where, only that I know it was used that way in the past.

The imp glances around nervously, noticing Hammerfist look at the plaque, it says. That is the Canteclure crest, it is. They were the original ruling family when this tower was their castle.. Then with a pop he disappears!

Looking where the imp indicated, the party easily finds the secret door. Opening it, you see a corridor heading north for about twenty five feet before heading west again.

I was worried it was some special imp with different poison that was only going to reveal itself later. If it's "just" 4 points of dex damage than better me than either of the two ranged characters. I could throw that swashbuckler under the bus though. :Þ

The party moves into the secreted corridor and follows it as it turns west. After another sixty feet, the passage turns south again for another sixty feet before turning east again. The floor drops away here as the corridor turns east, though a seven-inch-wide ledge continues along the south wall. The walls are very smooth, offering few handholds. The remainder of the passageway is filled with a five-foot-deep trough filled with foul-smelling, thick green sludge.

Lia skirts along the narrow ledge, but find it only goes for about forty feet, before turning south. Here there is no ledge, only green sludge filling the corridor. He will watch carefully for any trap or mechanism beyond the lever that might have a side effect.

If that turns up nothing of interest (arrow does not explode into dust or summon a balor etc) he will stow his weapons on his back, cast guidance upon himself and protection vs evil...

After a couple of tries, Ares manages to hit the lever with an arrow. The cloud moves over and discharges electricity into the ammunition!

I don't think anyone ever did a knowledge planes on this thing. Lia can't. Actually, I don't think any of us can.

With a flourish, Reynaldo pulls from his backpack a fine silk rope that's been knotted numerous times along its length. The finest rope in all Golarion comes from the silkworms of Goka! It isn't entirely clear whether he is making a claim about his own rope or simply stating a bit of trivia.
