Nuethro grabs the potion he was going to use on Janira and gulps it down himself as he feels his wounds start to heal.

Mar Leigh and Tarael, you need an acrobatics check to cross the slippery log:

Mar Leigh acrobatics: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
Tarael acrobatics: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17

The minotaur swings at Son of Cayden as he charges in, connecting but not quite dropping the bard.

Broken battleaxe: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
damage: 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (4, 1) + 4 = 9

Son of Cayden's rapier sinks his rapier deep into the monster's flesh, then he falls over unconscious. This is sort of an edge case. The monster staggered you with his AoO, which happens before the attack of your charge. Once you attack, I think that would drop you to -1 (like a normal attack). I'd be interested to hear other interpretations, though.

Meanwhile, Makon takes advantage of the opening in the monster's defenses to land the decisive blow, knocking the monster to the ground, unconscious! Out of combat!

While the monster is falling, Traianus finally manages to swim to shore, flopping onto the bank 60ft downstream from where he began. Your second swim check that round was enough. It's called out in a scenario that only a large creature can walk across.

Tarael or Mar Leigh can use Janira's wand to heal everyone. Janira is stable (she actually went down to the one point of nonlethal she starts with from fatigue, so still has one hp left. You have plenty of rounds to heal Son of Cayden.

"Thank you, Pathfinders! I thought I was done for when I couldn't shake that beast. Is everyone ok?"

Once she's satisfied that everyone is alright, Janira quickly pivots to asking about your mission. "What'd you find in the caves? Were there any gillmen? Did you explore the whole thing?"

Darn! I thought the mino had expended his AoO against Makon, but sure! whatever works! I like the thought of stabbing the big guy then going for a nap! LOL

His AoO against Makon was the previous round.

Makon walks over to the Minotaur and raises his axe. With a few chops he he turns around with a Minotaur horn in one hand..Anyone want the other? Makon says with a big grin on his face.

Later

"What'd you find in the caves? Were there any gillmen? Did you explore the whole thing?"

Well we found an old funny looking dude that likes water if that's what you mean. He said his people had been coming to that cave for a long time...So we didn't kill him. Makon looks to Janira, to see if he did good, by not killing the gillman. We also found a bunch of pictures and carvings on the wall..one of those guys copied them. says Makon pointing in the general direction of the rest of the party.

Tareal uses the wand from Janira and quickly heals every one from the worst of the rounds. As everyone sits together Tarael smiles.
"We survived. And Janira,too. Handing over the notes she made Tarael reports all that transpired in the cave."

Traianus pulls himself from the drink. "Oh, you've defeated it already? Janira's all right? Great! Good work, team!"

A small bird lands on his shoulder.

Traianus thinks. "Like our friend Makon says, we met a gillman there. Said his name was Irori... Midori... something like that? He told us about his peoples' pilgrimages to the water. I guess it's a holy place for them and the water is especially pure.

"The cave itself, besides being full of holy gillman water, seems to have been an old shrine to Aroden, of all things. I think we've got a few side-chambers we still need to check out, is that right?"

He approaches the rest of the party. You can hear the squelch as the cloth foundation of his splint mail is compressed and streams of water squirt from his greaves.

Celeste says, "I think you mean Uori. Right, Tarael?"

As an aside, she tells Janira, "You should probably trust Tarael's notes. She was one of the smart ones."

Celeste then sticks her beak in Traianus's face. "Tomorrow: lessons! I hear Master Dreng is an excellent instructor." She looks up. "Anyone else want me to register you for a swim class with Master Dreng?"

Dissatisfied with his performance against the minotaur, Nuethro mentally berates himself. He then joins the group. "Glad we got here in time to save you Janira. The others pretty much told you everything we found in there. Except there was some zombies that a necromancer created to try and create a gillmen undead horde."

"My, that all sounds fascinating! Well, you should finish your explorations, then we'll set off for Absalom. Take some time to write down your experiences before we leave, too. You're memory of it will never be so vivid as right now, and any notes you make will certainly make your report easier and more accurate when we reach home."

You spend some time exploring the other passageway that branched off from the cavern where you met Uori. After a short travel, you find the source of the cold air: an underground stream flowing from the heart of the mountain to destinations unknown. You find some underground denizens that present little challenge, after the minotaur, and quickly scurry from you. Eventually, the path leads out to the surface, near where you fought the minotaur. I don't think it's worth playing through that path. The encounter is anticlimactic after the minotaur, and you've already done enough to earn both prestige.

After camping for the night and spending some time exploring you set out for Absalom, reaching the city safely after a couple days of uneventful travel in which Janira assks you many questions and helps you to structure your report to the lodge.

After an uneventful journey back, you're greeted by an enthusiastic Kreighton Shaine.

"Oh my, that's wonderful! I'm glad to see you all back in one piece, though from what Janira has told me, that was a near thing. Wonderful job guiding and protecting them, Janira! I knew I could count on you."

Shaine spends some time reading over your notes, pausing to ask questions and to theorize on the meaning and history of the things you've found.

"Well done recording your experiences while fresh in your mind. It’s difficult enough to remember what one had for breakfast the day before, let alone to recall exactly what one was thinking while reading an inscription. Make sure to write up your report thoroughly. After all, at this moment you are the world's foremost authority on those caves. It's only fitting, then, that you should name them! So, what shall we call the place?"

Makon turns red at the suggestion he killed the beast, Ah... it wasn't me alone..Son of Cayden stuck the thing good..an Tarael used some magic to confuse it ...gosh , geeze ..shucks.. Makon backs away a little and looks down too embarrassed to say much else, Anyway thanks for the song..it really inspired me to try and save Janira...hey ..yeah! Makon claps his hands together. Let's name the caves after Janira! Something with her name and something like a cave put together!.. Makon scrunches his forehead in thought for a moment...How about...Janira's Holes? Makon perception: 1d20 ⇒ 13 Why are you all looking at me? sense motive: 1d20 ⇒ 15 Then, Makon's face turns red again.
