I have a Warpriest 4 if we're playing ard that level.. Ill bring him..

![]() |

It looks like everyone but Fahd is leaning towards the upper tier so I'll bring Chochok. I'm also thinking of trying to play him through this series for other reasons as well.
He's level 5 now. I'll get his profile updated right away!
PFS #55162-18
Day Job: Craft (alchemy): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26
Initiative: +3 (+2 in swamps)
Perception: +11 (+2 in swamps, +2 against humans)

I deleted my prior post with Fahd.
If we are playing higher tier, Hagrym is free. Level five inquisitor. I haven't gotten my most recent chronicle yet, but he is stil 5th level. The chronicle should be coming in the next day or two if that's okay, and I'll have his shopping updated lickety split.
PFS # 12445-1
No day job.
Init. +5
Perception +11

Welcome Sifvery Moon! I think the issue is how much risk do you want to take? Season 6 has the reputation of being pretty deadly. I have some concerns for Antonella as a third level. BUT I believe trust, teamwork (and a GM that knows his stuff) plays a big part in surviving scenarios.
I have played with Nivik, ‘Kermit’ and Hagrym before and know they’ll have my back, just like I’ll have theirs. And we’re very fortunate to have a GM like Tektite.
I’ve got no problem with taking along a level 2. It would put our APL = 3.8. As far as I’m concerned, it’s really up to you.
Hi Gerald! Haven’t played a game with you in ages! Looking forward to it.
I would prefer to play higher tier with 6 players if possible.
@Grim, I haven’t seen a Warpriest in play yet. Yours looks cool.
Antonella can play the healing role pretty well. Mind you, she dives into melee at the drop of a hat. Her bonus to hit is OK, though her damage is meagre when not smiting evil.
Seeing it’s a Season 6, I’m also going to think about how to get some kinda adamantine weapon capacity.

I trust Ru is keeping out of trouble?
Eadie is currently being beaten up by Endless in the Form of a giant Oscar (yep, the Academy Award statue) on a classic fantasy “taboo island.”
Did you ever play OD&D X1 Isle of Dread? It’s kinda like that.
I do enjoy playing her. While she’s alive, I want to laugh. When she dies, I want to cry.
Antonella is a whole different kettle of fish. But she’s pretty relaxed for a paladin.

Lol, that sounds great! EF is the man! Ru is currently resupplying himself after a break out form a slave pen...you know the usual Society plan, involving letting yourself be sold into slavery and busting out, etc.

I have played with Nivik, ‘Kermit’ and Hagrym before and yada yada yada
To be fair, he's more like Kermit meets Clint Eastwood.
Or even more like if Clint Eastwood failed his Fort save (but made his Will save) against a baleful polymorph and was stuck in frog form.
EF is the man!
Can I quote you on that?
Oh, I guess I just did. ;)

Lol, I can't remember: have you played with my dhampir inquisitor Yushua before?
For those who haven't (he's getting pretty dusty), he does not disclose to the group that he is a dhampir but instead insists at the beginning of the game that everyone sign a contract that they will, under no circumstances, heal him. He claims it's a religious thing and hopes no one bothers to Spellcraft his inflict spells when he heals himself.

1 person marked this as a favorite. |
Yes. Luisila adventured with Yushua in Burglar’s Jester’s Fraud.
That was a fun game! Burglar is such a great GM with a unique (inimitable?) style.
Toshi (one of Burglar's PC's porters) stuffed up Yushua’s contract, and Amira (Burglar's PC in question, an up-tight cleric of Abadar) *b0llocked* him in front of everyone. Fantastic!

GM Tektite |

GM Tektite, Is there any word on the VO Boards about when and if there is going to be a PbP Gameday 4?
Does leadership consider the virtual cons to be successful (enough?)
I'm sorry, I saw this and forgot to answer it. I believe the "official" ruling was they'd run a Gameday every other three months, so twice a year (Last one ended in Feb(?), so June should be the next one.
As far as I know, they are considered successful. I haven't seen anything talked about concerning them. They certainly get a big turnout.

Hey, fun game! Thanks for running, buddy.
Antonella goes to 4. I’ve levelled her on paper, and will update her profile tonight.
Her initiative won’t change, but Perception increases to +6.
RE: Faction Cards
Does this adventure qualify? If so, have we recovered a piece of the Sky Key? OR did the grippli Brewmistress Diblop survive and was she a divine spellcaster?

GM Tektite |

@Antonella: There isn't a stat block, so I can't say she was a divine caster. On the otherhand....
Rescue a named NPC who is a divine spellcaster with a good-aligned deity or a named outsider with the good subtype. Alternatively, collaborate with the NPC to overcome an obstacle directly related to the PCs’ success conditions, such as defeating a foe; summoned outsiders do not contribute to this goal, but called ones do if not coerced into service.
I could see how getting the egg would qualify for the bolded part. Thoughts?

Firstly, thank-you for the trouble you’re taking with this, VC Tektite!
I think it comes down to how you interpret “collaborate.” Wikipedia says “Collaboration is working with others to do a task and to achieve shared goals.”
Assuming the success condition was getting eggs for the grippli, I would say this qualifies.
However, I am not the GM or a Venture-Captain! ;)

@Gerald: Of course we want you along!
If Grim and Nivik don’t level, our APL = 3.5. If Grim OR Nivik level, our APL = 3.67. If both Grim and Nivik level, our APL = 3.83.
Man, that seems like a low APL for a 4-5 trilogy capstone which looks like a combat-heavy dungeon crawl. Watcha want to bet there’ll be robots or golems with DR/adamantine as well …
I’ve got a suggestion. What if we recruit a seventh reliable poster, who loves a fight? Thoughts?
