Maruf the Cobbler |

"Keep at it!" Richard casts a slightly stronger healing spell of his own on the bloody Cobbler.
[dice=Cure Light Wounds]1d8+2
Thanks Richard! -EF
Translated into Cobbler: "F@!! you, Richard, I'm fine!"
Lol. I'm just saying, don't expect any thanks from the Cobbler any time soon.

Kharax Fireshield |

"Get him, Mega-Alpha!", Kharax shouts after he finishes his spell, using his whip to try and aid him.
Aid another (AC for Alpha)) @ robot: 1d20 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (7) + 2 - 4 = 5
And the half-orc misses horribly.

Richard Mithril |

Dropping his crossbow, Richard jumps over a bed and maneuvers behind the construct, drawing his rapier and jabbing.

Maruf the Cobbler |

Maruf clutches at the wound in his side and tries to stanch the bleeding. His breathing is even heavier than usual but he doesn't say anything about the pain.
But I'm guessing someone will eventually heal him up with the wand:
clw: 2d8 + 2 ⇒ (6, 8) + 2 = 16
"Great. Now let's keep moving so I can get cut up some more."

Richard Mithril |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |

"You look like..." Like hell? Like sh!t? Like a wounded animal? Richard wonders briefly which comment would provoke the Cobbler least, but decides to change course mid-stream. "We should assess our ability to continue. My ability to heal is running out."
Richard examines the defeated robot, then the rest of the room carefully for others useful items.
Did we find a wand? I've got one cure light left on a scroll plus one more bard spell.

Maruf the Cobbler |

Oh! I thought we bought a wand already but I must've been thinking about my SS game. If we don't have a wand we might want to rest.

Richard Mithril |

"I think we can press on a little more, but I would like to conserve a spell for emergencies." Richard says, then sings softly, using the last of his bardic magic to heal some of the Cobbler's injuries.
CLW: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Does Kharax have healing left?
"I'll take the lead with Alpha." He says, handing his scroll with one final spell of curing to Kharax. "Let's try those doors to the south, but just glance inside. I don't think we need to clear the place out. Remember, we're here to find Khonnor first, then relight the forge fires second. Seeing that we have no clue about doing the second thing, and the resident expert was Khonnor, we should try to find him before wandering into every dark and dangerous corner."
Trying to be quiet, Richard listens at the double doors, examines them for any danger, then opens them a crack to peer inside.
Take 20 on Perception = 28

Kharax Fireshield |

My only heal hexes are for him and Richard IIRC; I already got Alpha and Cobbler earlier. However, I do have some channels!
"Un momento, fellas.", smiles Kharax.
Channel Energy: 1d6 ⇒ 3
Channel Energy: 1d6 ⇒ 3
"I can do that one more time before Torracha's energy runs out."
Everyone heals 6... darn mediocre heal rolls. Up to the party to decide; I still have 2 offensive spells and one debuff'ish spell along with 1 channel and the hex heals for our non-primary combatants. I do personally vote for resting, if nothing else so I can slightly rearrange my list of spells.

Richard Mithril |

"If we decide to rest, we should consider returning to town." Richard says. "Otherwise the water breathing spell duration will elapse and we will have a hard time getting back out, though that makes me wonder... if we do find Khonnir, how will we get him out?"
GM, how tough is the swim to get out? Can it be done without water-breathing?

Kharax Fireshield |

In that case
After the agreement to recuperate and go over what they have uncovered, Kharax calls upon Torracha's blessings one more time.
last Channel: 1d6 ⇒ 5
Better, 5 more to everyone
"Alright, I'll take first watch since I need mah shut-eye afterwards. Gotta get my beauty sleep ya know."

GM Tektite |

Opening the southern doors, you see a row of beds sits along the southern wall of this well-lit room. Glowing screens and metal desks sit on the opposite walls, and splatters of blood adorn the floor and several of the beds. To the east, a large metal device that is the size of a large bed hums softly. Sitting in this room are two robots, one similar to the one in the room to the northeast, and the other is similar to the one encountered when you first entered! As you enter, they starts moving toward you!

Party up!

Richard Mithril |

Richard curses like the Cobbler as Kharax falls to the robots' punishing attacks. Dropping his useless crossbow, he grabs the half-orc and drags him from the fight.
Not sure I can drag him 5' and cast a cure light wounds this round. Will heal him next round regardless.

Stabilization check: 1d20 + 4 - 7 ⇒ (5) + 4 - 7 = 2
Blood continues to spurt out of Kharax's body, the gaping wound showing no sign of stopping.
@Alpha/GM: Don't forget the +3 for shocking grasp striking metal armed creatures... or creatures made of metal in our case! Would a 17 hit?

Maruf the Cobbler |

The Cobbler follows Richard's example and tries to one-up the android's potty-mouth. "Mother f@~!ing s&+@-eating f~~!er! F~+&ing bastard stop b&%*!ing around and come fight me, you c$$#! I'll put this f+~$ing spear up your metallic ass!"

Richard Mithril |

Kharax, it seems the needle robot is like the one we just fought in the previous room. Richard's rapier worked against it, but my bolt bounced off the red robot without effect - I'm guessing it's tougher (and it can grab). I believe Alpha and Kharax already shocked the red one to good effect, so you might want to redirect that grasp to it instead.

GM Tektite |

Alpha swings, but misses!
