This is an assembly point for my new Ptolus game played by invitation only. Sorry, I'm not looking for recruits.


To Create a Character

Go to "My Account" at the top of the page and create a Messageboard Alias using your character's name. Be sure to select an appropriate avatar. Open the Alias and click on Edit My Profile. You can cut-and-paste from your Yuku character sheet.

Please include a State line like this one:

UPP: 73A797; Armor 5; Injury: 0

Make sure you character has one as well. You can do this by going to your character profile (right-click on your character name in the forum thread), click "Edit My Profile", and enter the code into the ‘Class/Levels’ line of your character.

Spider:
You may want to update your background regarding Karina and the ship Lady Elise. After your last mission, Commodore Sean "Hammer" Lathrop told you that Karina had died when Lady Elise was taken by vampires (just as Spider has now been taken). The ship went on to be instrumental in forging a connection between the Reformation Coalition and the Covenant of Sufren.


Gameplay will resume tomorrow.

Question: Should we recruit more players? And if so, should they come from The Ship's other crew members or do you want to wait until you get to Promise to recruit? Or are you happy with four players?


I am good either way. More players would help in some fights and make other things slower.


I'm ok with 4, but I wouldn't object if you wanted to add 1 or 2 more.


Same here. I am okay with four but a couple more characters would be fine.

It's not as if Traveler were designed for a particular party size and it's not as if we are lacking a mage or healer.


Yeah. But there are still the competing tensions of "more party means more interaction" and "more party means slower story."


I'm actually ok with 4. I don't feel like we're missing anything. The biggest thing is that more people could mean more interaction. That's especially true since right now we're all separated, so we're all running our own mostly solo game.
