Yeah, fellas, I think I'm going to let this one go. We went three weeks without a post and I think that's a pretty good indication of everyone's level of interest. It's been a good run, but I think it's time for MS-7 to fly off into the sunset.
I'm sad to see any game end, but yeah, I agree. This has seemed to run its course.

So, before we go, a brief glimpse into the future. On your journey you would have eventually found the automated factory that was building vampire ships and hopefully found a way to destroy it.
You would have returned to a Reformation Coalition at war with a new power, the Empire of Solee, which had relic Imperial warships.
Eventually, all RC ships would have a copy of Sandman running onboard and some RC citizens would be pushing to recognize the Sandmen as people. You would have encountered long-range ships from the Regency (the last functioning part of the Imperium, still going in the Spinward Marches far away). They would have damned you for associating with the hated Virus and started a cold war.
I doubt we'd have ever gotten this far, but eventually the RC, the Regency and other new empires would face the resurgent Imperial fleet, now full of high-tech vampire ships commanded by none other than Emperor Lucan the Mad, who may or may not still be alive and be forced to decide whom to side with when Lucan is all that stands between the former worlds of the Imperium and an invasion by the K'Kree (xenophobic "centaur" people who were a nemesis of the Imperium.)
