Ralklain finishes his incantation of a Celestial Dog inside the building, communicating with it in the celestial language:
"Track the one upstairs!"
Survival by scent: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
He enters the door and detect magic around the place, expecting Nessian to be Invisible.

Jake yells to Arilak, as he places a potion of cure light wounds on the ground near the gate.
Arilak, get this to Harlynne in the mist. We will wait just inside the door for you. Hurry!
Jake steps inside the gate next to Ralklain.
We hold our position before ascending for the others.

Best thing we do is to end this soon! You should move first Jake, since I'm only at 2hp
Ralklain follows the dog and Jake upstairs (if he is going), loaded crossbow at hand.

Harlynne must stand, so that's a move action. Plus, she is attempting to move 35', so won't get all the way there, and when she does she'll be at normal defense, not total defense.
Nessian's Improved Feint: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
Nessian's flail attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
Nessian's damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
_________________________________________________________________________
The celestial hound leads the way up the stairs. It alerts and leaps forward with a snarl, but Nessian is ready. The crimelord smashes the poor summoned creature with his flail, crushing its skull against the wall. With a piteous yelp, it fades back into the celestial realms. The crimelord wavers and blurs as if covered by a thick, unseen veil.
Harlynne is at 4 hp
Anyone, go!

Ralklain starts summoning (celestial viper), to appear behind Nessian on the next round.

            Jake's 20% miss chance: 1d100 ⇒ 35
Jake hustles up the stairs, driving Nessian back. With a powerful thrust of his greatsword, he pierces the would-be crime lord's heart, killing him instantly.
Later, the Pathfinders find the ancient Taldan code book, ending the threat of the Silent Tide for all time.
Congratulations!

            Conclusion
Though few will be aware of your bravery, by stopping the Silent Tide, you have saved Absalom from a potentially devastating attack. Better still, you have have brought Nessian and his War Hounders to justice.
You have the thanks of Yargos and his friends, and they ensure that the Pathfinders' reputation within the Puddle District is deservedly enhanced. Yargos will prove to be a friend and ally that you can rely upon in the future. Finally, Grandmaster Torch may prove to be a valuable future business contact.

And once again no one cried for you X...
The potion you saved me with was bought by you, right Jake?
