This is an invitation-only game.
Several of you have asked me, so I'm going to cover it here for all of us to see. I misinformed some of you about the legality of non-PFS characters. The correct rule is that if you're playing for PFS credit, you need a legal in-tier PFS character or a pregen. So that's what we'll do.
Fangwood Keep is written for fourth level characters, so I urge you to use characters of that level if you have them available. Only characters of 3rd, 4th or 5th level will be acceptable.
This game is longer than a standard PFS scenario, so I plan to keep things moving. Please plan to post AT LEAST once per day, seven days a week. More often if you feel like it. Please feel free to roleplay your hearts out.
Please inform the rest of us if you plan to be gone for any extended period of time. I'll do the same.

Please chime in to let me know you're here.

Here is how things are going to work. I'm not going to use any of the map options I've seen here, mostly because I'm old and cranky and don't want to learn anything new. Instead, you are going to describe your move in detail and I'm going to update the maps by hand and post them on my site with a link in the Gameplay forum.
EXAMPLE: Fred the Fighter charges to the attack! (Move N-N-E-N; attack!)
(Where N=North, E=East, S=South and W=West). North will always be at the top of the map, regardless of any compasses printed on the map.
Dice will be rolled here as normal

The GM is often wrong, but will do his best to be right. If I screw up in your favor, we'll let it go. If I screw up in a way that hurts you, speak up before your next turn and I'll try to get it straightened out.
______________________________________________________
I've had 36 years of GMing experience, but I still don't know every obscure ability you may have. If you're using an ability that is not common, please explain it and link it to the SRD or PRD so I can quickly determine what you're trying to do.

Rule #1 - Have fun!
Saki Kanazawa |
Hello all!
Just as a heads up, I'll be busy for the next week (midterms/assignments) and may be kind of post-light for the period, although I should still manage at least a post a day I imagine.
Edit--still need to update Saki's sheet after the last module I played; need to do some shopping...
Edit2--I will try and wrangle my way into a game over the weekend (maybe one of the Roll20 games?) and see if I can get up to level 4, but no promises :)
Tarondor |
That reminds me. Please enter the following information in your Class/Level line (or set it up as a spoiler, as Saki here has, if you prefer.)
Class Level (archetype) - HP current/max - AC: /T: /FF: - Perception - F: / R: /W: - CMB - CMD - Speed - Init.
Also, please ensure that your profile prominently displays your PFS number.

Saki! Glad to have you aboard. *fistbump* This is Dien, from Blakros Matrimony.
Skipper's only level 3, but hopefully he's a resourceful little level 3. We'll cross our fingers for his survival.

A quick note on characters. Despite the fact that we're playing for PFS credit, your characters are not being recruited for this adventure -as- Pathfinders. You're expected to be Nirmathi patriots, or at the least characters with a reason to want to bring a murderer to justice and aid the Nirmathi cause.
Unless you've all got a burning reason to want to be on the Molthuni side. That's an option, too. But only if everyone agrees.
Saki Kanazawa |
Oh, hey Dien! Awesome that we get to play together this time! :)
As a proud Andoran citizen, Saki would definitely be interested in helping Nirmathi's budding freedom. (Maybe we can get them moving away from practical anarchy into a more stable political system like Andoran's? Hmm.)
Saki Kanazawa |
Currently in the process of playing a scenario, so Saki will indeed be level 4 for the module. :)
Saki Kanazawa |
Total party kill!!! Although they took us alive... so I survive, for now.
I'm level 4, at least. That was a struggle. And the GM highly recommended this module. :)
Saki Kanazawa |
Saki is updated and raring to go. :) Although she may be slightly down about failing her last mission!
(At least she got to be paladinny. Taking AoOs and standing in front of allies to protect them.)

Perhaps P33J would consider running an arcane pregen instead? We'd have a decently balanced team in that case.

I want to point out the First Official PbP Gameday.
I've signed up to run some games. There will be prizes! Hope to see you there.
Saki Kanazawa |
And I will be running games, too!
Dien, if you ever wind up running a game again, dibs on a spot. :)

Argharghargh!
I soooo don't have time to pick up another game... but I SO loved playing with you at the helm last time!
Let me think on it.

If anybody wants to kill some time.... *coff-unsubtle-pimping-coff* ...I'm rather chuffed with myself for taking second place in the Pathfinder Chronicler Fiction Contest for the year, so pardon a bit of squeeful bragging from this corner. If anyone's bored, my stories (Zero Hour and The Dragon's Attention) are available online, as well as all the other entries!
(Sorry to anyone who's in multiple games with me, you're about to get spammed across the board by my excitement!)
