Oh well. Do those of you who are here want to maybe introduce your characters a bit? We could see if we want to tie our back stories together, give the party some reasons to work together if that's ok with you GM.

One of our players are out of town unfortunately. They'll be back after Christmas.

Perhaps a stupid question, but how much of my equipment would I have brought for the ceremony and now have with me?
While Kenabras is a thriving city it is still on the front and as such most often people will go about fully in armor and carrying weapons. You should have most of your equipment in not all. Only the largest and bulkiest of item would have been left behind.
So waiting on Elder Greylocke. Maybe he hit his head on the way down?
Since this the out of character comment place, I would kindly ask players not to use uncalled for language in this play by post game that GM Striker has set up for us. Its rude and can offend people, even if you did *bleep* the words out. We all know what was suppose to be in there. And yes to clarify I am the who is offended. This place is family friendly.

My apologies to everyone that was offended by that post. I was attempting to convey a sense of panic and urgency through Sam, but perhaps I got a little too carried away there. Again, didn't mean to offend anyone, and I'll keep things clean in the future.

So, I've started reading the Worldwound Gambit to get into the mood for this AP. I've got to say, it's a great read, and if you haven't checked it out yet and you're into that sort of thing, definitely give it a go.
I'm so sorry I missed Haroon's post about going back to check out the "shiny objects" that were in the first cave.

Sam just tossed them out randomly, literally. Like they said, if you want to trade them around feel free to do so. If anyone would rather have the Glittering scale, that's fine as well - Sam will just take whatever's left over.
Valtyra, if you want Cloudwalking it's yours. Seems like it would suit your character nicely. Haroon will take Glittering from Sam if that's ok. If not, Disguise would be nice as well.
I know this is a bit short notice, but I am working a night shift to night and away visiting family Tuesday and Wednesday and will properly first post Thursday.
If Haroon doesn't want the Glittering one, Ginger wouldn't mind trading it. I can't think of what a dwarf would do with disguise, they like how they look and don't see the need to hide their looks. =^_^= But it will have to wait until after the combat before they can trade.
Yeah, mostly it seemed to me that the Disguise one would be good for Haroon concealing his Tiefling heritage, and I'll probably end up taking glitterdust as a spell once we hit 3rd level anyway so we can trade if you like.

It's not Disguise self but Alter Self, meaning its a transmutation - you usually get a slight boost to Str or dex from that as well.
Sam's right. If you become a small humanoid you get +2 dex for the duration. If you become medium, you get +2 str. You also get darkvision, low light vision, scent or swim 30' if the creature whose form you assume has any of those. I think you could even use it to become a dwarf, and just get the +2 str bump for 19 minutes and since it's a size bonus, it would stack nicely, but you might want to verify that with GM Striker.

Ok, but the Disguise scale is probably going to be useful for a longer period. The DC on Glittering is only a 13, so it's going to drop off in effectiveness relatively quickly. I'd prefer for these to go to the person who's going to be able to best put them to use, and I honestly think you'll get better use out of the disguise scale than I will. I'll take it if you insist, but I'd really rather you kept it.

I have a question regarding the resistance scale. Is it endure elements or resist energy? I can't seem to find resist energy as a spell.

Nice, 30 points of energy resistance for any of the selected element types.
Just to give everyone a heads up. I am going on holiday from Saturday until Monday the third of February.
Oh and I'm going to be gone this weekend, Saturday and Sunday.
