The TSR joke sounds like every engineer I've ever met.
A man in a hot air balloon is lost, and skimming only a few dozen feet above a field when he spots a man lying on a blanket and reading a book. Desperate for some idea of where he was, and how to get home, the man shouted down.
"You there! Can you tell me where I am and how to get home?"
The second man shaded his eyes from the sun and shouted up, "You are in a hot air balloon about 30 feet off the ground over this field."
The balloonist looked cross and called, "You must be an engineer. Everything you said was factual, but of absolutely no use to me. I am no better off now than when I first saw you."
The man on the ground shouted, "I am indeed an engineer, and now I can see that you must be a middle manager. I answered the questions you asked to the best of my ability. You still have no idea where you are or how to get where you want to go, but now you have decided it's my fault!"

Awesome jokes, haha! xD
And Spiderbeard, you need a person's PFS# and faction to report he played the game. The chronicle sheet is what matters most, but PFS games are also reported on this site. This thread was made to explain how that works. Don't freak out: it looks like a lot of work, but it's actually an easy and fast job to do. You'll need to create the event on this site before you know the game's event number, which also has to be put on the chronicle sheets.
(I see you also have PFS characters, though you haven't used them for quite some time. Don't forget you can also receive a chronicle for GMing a game!)
The chronicle sheet by the way clearly states that characters get 3,711gp from the sheet. The amount of XP we gain is 3, and we gain 4 Prestige. (This sheet counts as having played a module, which has higher rewards than a scenario.)

Oh yes, chilly is going places.

GM SpiderBeard |

Thanks, I got the 3 XP and 4 Prestige. But I was just being blind and stupid about the gold pieces. Sheets are done and will be uploaded tomorrow morning!
Kawrock - I need your PFS information unless I missed that too. The price you pay for a GM who really tries to post every day is he forgets s* ;)

![]() |

hmmm
My character was sczarni, but that factions has been retired. obviously my character didn't get the flyer. So I suppose his now the exchange.

Arval Beyondane |

Lol... Nice joke ;P
I had the same problem with factions >_> was two months after they changed that I discovered it or something.
@Spiderbeard Thx for the work! :)

Eldon Appleton |

Thanks a lot, Spiderbeard! :)

![]() |

Yep, thanks you

![]() |

Heroin???

![]() |

Oh.

GM SpiderBeard |

Whiskeyjack knows what it's about. I adored Scotland when I was there. Uh, for the people and culture. I can't say I'm a heroin enthusiast. Also, catch some standup acts. British standup is some of the best live entertainment in the world right now.

Dr Iozif Drabardi |

I have now returned. Unfortunately I failed to conquer Ben Nevis, but did enjoy more than my fair share of haggis, walking and countryside. Thankfully we managed to steer clear of the heroin.
Kawrock: I remember hearing that. There is a sequel to the book (who's title may offend profanity filters so I shan't repeat it).
GM: Didn't see any while I was there, but I have seen some good acts in the various places in the UK I've lived. I was lucky enough to live in Cambridge for a few years and see a few footlights shows, but none of the people I saw have made it big (yet).

Soooooo...
Don't supposed we leveled?

GM SpiderBeard |

Don't think this gives you any power over me, but sure! Clearing out the factory is a big achievement so DING! Welcome to level 5!

I'm going to be travelling for a mixture of work and vacation over the next 2 weeks. I should be able to keep on top of everything between now and Friday night, but may not be able to get online much for a week after that. Feel free to GM me while I'm away, hopefully I'll be able to knock Iozif up to level 5 in the next few days.

Leveling! Yes!

Dr Iozif Drabardi |

Just levelled Iozif but the forum ate the update. Just so I remember for later:
Feats - Preferred spell (dispel magic), fast study
New spells - Dispel magic, Magic circle against evil
2+s level 3 spells
Selyna can now speak to master

Dr Iozif Drabardi |

Hey - just letting you know I'm back home now. Will hopefully catch up and return to posting either later today or some time tomorrow. Severely jet-lagged at the moment.

GM SpiderBeard |

Hey guys, it's been a month without activity from Iozif. I'm unfortunately going to remove him from the game. However, Kawrock recommended an exceptional player I'll get in touch with right away.

Wren the FeatherMage |

Greetings Mortals--
GM Spiderbeard has graciously offered me a chance to RP with you yahoos. I am eager for the chance to play with all you new faces...wait?! WHAT?!
Tural?! (Arval.) I know you.
GM StephNyan?! (Eldon.) I know you too.
Bigrin, too?! (Whiskeyjack.) Oh hecks yes.
And I've known Kawrock for a long long time.
Well, nice to meet you, Vladena. :) I am a fast poster who loves hooks and RP. I appreciate it when others push the action along and I'm not shy about voice my opinions about stuff.
Wren the Feathermage played the first book of CC about 3 years ago; the PbP ended when the GM disappeared midway through Book 2. I've kept Wren mostly the same, just tailored her to the build specs for this game. You can read about her in her alias.
(Tangent: Did you guys have a scene in Ravengro where the townspeople were angry about stuff? And the party had to calm them down? Yeah...Wren spoke there. Good times.)
As a player, I know what's happening, but Wren herself will play along with however GM SB sticks her in. I haven't had a chance to read the last 200 or so posts of this game thread, but will do so later.
-Wren the Feathermage
p.s. Remember, if Wren does things that are weird, embarrassing, or just strange: blame Kawrock. It's totally his fault.

Whiskeyjack Dunaldthal |

"Aye, well, ye cannae be too consistent with all th' thees an' thous an' a hunnert other things runnin' through yer head. An' is i' can, ken, or kin? Sometimes I ken be consistent, bu' a' others i' be 'ard t' remember which letters can be dropped and which kin no'"

Arval Beyondane |

Hey anti-tree friend ;P Welcome aboard!
The accents are a pain to maintain... Never get quite the same :( The downside to a classic dwarf!

Eldon Appleton |

Welcome, Wren! Nice to see you here! ;)
I think Eldon calmed down most of the angry mobs in Ravengro! :P He likes to talk, as you'll undoubtedly experience soon enough, and he's his own favorite topic. Nevertheless, he usually gets things done when Diplomacy is required!

Hi wren.

Wren the FeatherMage |

Wren is ready to come in, but will probably needs to until after this encounter. Not sure this is the time to intrude...things are happening and I wouldn't want to ruin my grand entrance.

![]() |

Sorry for the lack of posts, I lost all net unexpectedly for a couple of days. Big fibre issue or something.

ARGH! Whiskey jack is Donald Trump!
