We don't have any trap sense but Kawrock has pretty good eyes and detect magic. It's the disable part we'll have trouble with.

I started updating the loot sheet, but it will need a bit of work, adding who has what and some missing items, I think.

.

I'll go over everything tomorrow once I don't have as many negronis in me.

Male Tengu Druid 10 HP 72/72 | AC 20, T 13, FF 17 | CMB 8, CMD 21 | F:8 R:6 W:11 | Init. 3, SPD 20 | Perc. 18, SM 4 |

Not a big drinker so I had to look up what a negroni is.

.

Delicious. That's what it is. If uh, you like bitter things. I'll get the loot tracker updated today so Norna can keep on top of it after the fact.

.

Party loot tracking sheet has been updated. I'm loading the bunch of divine scrolls on Norna since she's the cleric. There are 5 vials of holy water unclaimed from the spider room and everybody should know they have 1 haunt siphon each. The alchemical stuff is largely unclaimed as well.

I'll assume that unclaimed gear is in Arvals' pack since he seems to have the best strength to load ratio, but of course, it's all party decision.

I would say everyone should take a holy water except Norna, who is a bad shot and has her Channel Energy ability (a few uses remaining today).

Another healer should take the other healer's kit, of course. Eldon?

.

It doesn't have to be Arval but there should be a designated pack mule and it's either you or Rustom :P

Yes that's fine with me as well, I will be on vacation the first week of August. Not sure if we are going anywhere for that week or just being lazy at home. When it comes closer I will let everyone know if I will be away for that week.

So did you see the monster? Eat a haggis? Dance the highland fling?

Seriously I have heard it is a great place to visit. Lot of history.

I wanted to visit Loch Ness, but we didn't go there during this vacation. I'll go there next time, as I most certainly plan on going back! The island Skye is a place I really want to visit too when I go back.

I didn't dare eat a haggis after reading what it's made of! Some people really like it, but the ingredients made me very hesitant.

Sadly, we saw no one playing a bagpipe. Though that may have been 'cause we were traveling from Glasgow to Fort William: mostly walking in between the hills, mountains and forests, as we were walking the West Highland Way.

I have returned! Also! Took some time off after we got back (also saw that you decided to pause the game) :)

As for the question:
I did see a monster, nearly every day ^^^^
I also didn't eat Haggis for the same reason as Eldon :P
And we didn't dance, never really danced before. The times I do it's a real laugh though! (not for me sadly :D)
And it is indeed an awesome place to visit, I would highly recommend it!

So how's everyone been? :)

.

I'm well! And I've had haggis a few times. It can be very good or very bland. It's not gross just... unremarkable. Of course, you come from the country that gave us stamppot. Whose idea was -that-?

B-but that's just potatoes and carrots and onions and... sometimes some other stuff... all mashed together! That's not weird, is it? Just... mashing absolutely everything together?

Actually... If you think about it, it's basically the same. One is vegetables mashed together and the other meat xD Maybe I'll try it in the future!

Male Halfling Bard/10 (HP 83/83 | AC:19 [+2 Buckler] | T:14 | FF:16 [+2 Buckler] | CMB:6 | CMD:19 | Fort:+6 | Ref:+10 | Will:+7 | Fear:+3 | All other saves:+1 | Init:+3 | Perc:+14 | Speed 20)

When I eat meat I eat flesh, not organs. I think there's a quite a difference between combining various types of vegetables in a dish, and combining several types of organs in a dish.

Though perhaps I should just try it next time. Just to determine if I like it or don't. (Instead of saying "Oh yuck, not eating that," while I don't know what it tastes like.)

Buried in work right now but still here. Nora is having some back issues and has stepped back from PbP for a bit. So he may be better by next week or may be gone for a bit longer.

.

To be fair I last had stamppot when I was eleven. I thought it was a bizarre thing to do to perfectly good vegetables though.

And organ meat can be fantastic. However, it requires a little more skill to cook it so its nice. I do a lot of cooking - any a##*@%$ can make filet mignon taste nice. A pig's head requires some more creativity.

And worry not Kawrock, we're still off for two weeks.

Here is an Australian dish for you. A meat pie floater.
It is a meat pie turned upside down, and completely covered in mushy peas. Add plenty of tomato sauce.
BTW while I like pies I can't stand this dish. Guess I'm unaustralian.

That sounds... horrifying.

I dislike meat pies in general. Pies are supposed to be sweet. Filled with chocolate, whipped cream, etc. All desserts, pies and cakes are supposed to be sweet by the way. (I should add this is coming from someone with a sweet tooth.)
