Andrea Greenholt |

Andrea turns her evil eye on the Orc attacking her and hopes that it will make him clumsier..she also backs away ..5 foot step back and Orc 10 needs to make a will save DC 15 or suffer a -2 to his attacks for 6 rounds..if he saves he still suffers the effect for one round.

Wren the FeatherMage |

Wren delays in exiting the carriage to avoid the blood splatter from Kevin's blow.
Kevin, dearie, someday I hope you use and remember that Wren is trying to give you bonuses to hit and saves. Not that you needed it here...
"Andrea, are you alright?" Wren asks as she leaves the carriage before turning back to those inside. "Are you all okay?" Wren says to the merchant and soldier. "Did any stray arrows find their way within?"
Wren reaches out to bring Andrea closer.
"My dear friend Andrea is a wonderful healer."

Nym Vallidorn |

"We might need that healing talent up here...Much as I know about taking a man apart with blade or spell, I'm afraid I'm all thumbs when it comes to putting him back together..." Nym calls out. "I seem to remember something about pressure and leeches, but it's been a few decades sense my anatomy classes, and I have no leeches handy. Plus whenever I apply pressure on one wound here it just causes more blood to seep from the others."

Fight Eagle and Orc
The wounded orc turns around - his falchion in hand he attacks back.
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14 Damage 2d4 + 4 ⇒ (3, 3) + 4 = 10
Hope my memory is right with the numbers ...
Edit: Nope - his attack is one better. Does this hit or has a celestial Eagle a better AC compared to a normal one? Correct values now.
I don't think it makes a lot of sense follow Initiative here - if nobody objects, then I do this 1:1 just with Aldous/Eagle.

Aldous Preklikin |

That is enough to take-out the Eagle. Aldous' response, however, is merely to move 30' closer, and summon another one :-P
Talon: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7, for 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5 S/B damage.
Talon: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23, for 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6 S/B damage.
Bite: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12, for 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6 P/S/B damage.
Aldous has quite a few of these per day :-)
EDIT:
Talon (Confirmation): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17, for 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6 *ADDITIONAL* S/B damage.

Wren the FeatherMage |

Wren casts Detect Magic and goes over the bodies of the orcs.
"Does someone want to go through their pockets? We should probably gather up their weapons so that they aren't used to hurt others."
Wren tries to avoid touching the dead orcs. Or any somewhat alive ones.

Andrea:
The coach driver is still alive but seems still unconscious.
I'm happy if any of the players takes on driving the coach - no rolls needed - just a volunteer.

Galadan Teresthin |

Sorry everyone. Sudden travel. Slow internet connection if at all.
(AoO) 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17 for 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
After the orcs all flee away, Galadan retrieves his chain shirt from his luggage and spends the time to put it on correctly, despite the fatigue he knows may result from the long voyage.
Can we level now...lol?

Wren the FeatherMage |

Wren points out the return path and then the forward path before returning to the carriage and her jewelry, making small talk with whomever is inside.
"Now, what do you all do about flaky scalp? I have these flakes, like snow, on my skull..." Wren shakes here head to allow the dandruff to float down at the feet of those in the carriage. "I've tried pigeon poop, ravens tears, crows toes (smashed, of course), and nothing seems to work..."

Wren the FeatherMage |

Wren gets back in the coach and begins preening, attempting to address any spots of molting or those with blood on them from Kevin's rude and inconsiderate spray of orc blood.
"Come now, dearies, we should get moving. We have goods to deliver."

Nym Vallidorn |

Picking up the reigns, Nym calls out "All aboard who's coming! Best we don't stick around incase the sounds of battle, and especially the smell, attract anything else."

Kevin Darlok |

Kevin moves towards the coach, inspecting the gash in his coat. "What else can you expect, I guess. No wonder Orcs are pure savages." He reaches out and takes his flask from the merchant. "Thankyou my good man. To a job well done." Kevin turns his flask up and empties it's contents. "I may as well refill it since we are stopped."

Your travel towards Lepidstadt is uneventful until your path is partly blocked by a stopped caravan. Getting closer you have the impression this is a group of performers.
They are milling aimlessly around the stopped wagons. You count a total of 9. You spot a giant of a man - likely 8 Feet tall but very ugly. He seems to speak to two females who seem in tears and whose heads seem abnormally small - more like heads of a small child.
Suddenly you hear a sound that seems a wolf in pain - until you realise it comes from a young boy in one of the wagons.
Sorry I'm currently slow. i did have to sort out a few bits over the last days for my business and it didnt help that i had a two day module scheduled for my junior league. It Will likely continue until end of the weekend as I have organised a mini con at my place. 2 tables PFS in parallel Friday evening to Sunday. I hope to be back to more normal posting schedule after that.

Wren the FeatherMage |

Wren will slowly exit the carriage, fluffing and preening herself before she goes to make new 'friends'.
Wren will look for identifying marks on the caravan before approaching.

Galadan Teresthin |

Galadan stands up from the coach and follows Wren outside. He pauses to see if there is any danger from the group, then halts in his tracks when he hears the boy's howl.
"What in the Hells is going on here? Who is torturing that poor creature?"
Galadan takes on an authoritative air as his voice booms out over the caravan.

On Galadans accusation you see the people backing off. The howling gets louder.
An albino man with red eyes and long, white hair that hangs below his knees steps out of the largest wagon. He wears a tall red top hat, a long red coat with gold buckles, and striped trousers.
"Nobody gets tortured here - not under my watch if I can avoid it. May I introduce myself. I'm Kaleb Hesse - member of the Crooked Kin.
Wolf child isn't tortured - he is in distress. The pinheads treat him like a brother despite what he is. He is just crying out for her - so please - lower your voice or his howls will only get louder. I don't know how much he understands. His favourite - Aleece - has gone missing. We found some tracks towards the marsh - but we are no heroes and don't dare venturing in there."
With this you notice the source of the howls - a boy - maybe 10 years old - but covered in hair all over his body and seemingly feral.

Nym Vallidorn |

Leaping down from the coach, Nym stands and adjusts his threadbare finery. Watching the gathered performers for any signs of trouble, he listens to the exchange...
Waiting for an opening in the conversation, so as not to be talking over anyone, nor bombarding the man with questions, Nym asks, "How long has the girl been missing, and when did you spy the tracks good sir?"

Wren the FeatherMage |

Wren looks around confused.
"Who is lost? A boy? A wolf? A girl? A pinhead?"

He then turns to the others.
"I suppose we could look into this matter; what do the rest of you think?"

More members of the crew appear. The swarm of clowns look odd. Each of them having a third extremity like an additional arm or leg.
A large lady appears. You first mistake her for a man as she is 7 feet tall and her beard flows down to her waist. Wren takes an immediate liking to her as she recocknizes her as the mother hen of the flock.
No evil to be detected among the Crooked Kin. Knowing Ustalav and the prejudice of the people her you have to feel sorry for this group of monstrosities who surely are not welcome as members of any community.
at least it seems they turned their disadvantages into a job.

They are currently missing Aleece - one of the three pinhead sisters. They have stopped her for a quick repair of one of the wagons half an hour ago but only noticed she was gone when they wanted to travel on.
Being next to the fens they fear the worst.
Kale Hesse steps forward [b]"We don't have much - but I can offer you this magical dagger if you return her safely.[

Wren the FeatherMage |

Wren makes her way to the large lady, the mother hen of the coop.
"Greetings, m'Lady. I am Wren. Hhat is your name?" Without waiting for a response, Wren will continue. "I understand you lost a little chick? Can you describe her for me? I would be at a loss if I lost Plumie, here..." Wren pets the bird on her shoulder. "...I would be molting with sadness."
While waiting for the reply, Wren wipes her nose on her sleeve.

Galadan Teresthin |

Galadan nods, as his suspicions were unfounded.
"Be aware of orcs patrolling this area. We managed to avoid an ambush, but only just barely. Our driver is still injured."
With that, Galadan turns back towards the forests, searching for Aleece's tracks.

You left the hillside a while ago and the surrounding is flat. The road rather goes to a swampy area. This seems to be advantageous as Galadan manages to find some tracks in the swampy earth that lead away from the road into the fens.
Wren
Aleece is the sister of the pinheads. You will recocknice her easily as a grown up female with a head the size of a baby.

![]() |

Aleece's tracks are fresh. The tracks run for about half a mile as they head down into a boggy river valley, and then into a densely vegetated, midge-infested marsh. The marsh is a shallow bog with high reeds between 6 and 8 feet high that affect abilities and movement in the same way as heavy undergrowth in dense forest. Aleece's tracks soon all but vanish under water.
Another survival check needed.
if you decide to follow Galadan then feel free to read the spoiler.

Wren the FeatherMage |

Wren follows Galadan and speaks to him as he tracks, all a-twitter over meeting her new 'friends'.
"Blah blah blah...so I says to the big lady, Galadan, I says to her 'We'll find that pinhead for you!' and she says back...Can you guess what she said back, Galadan? She says back, 'Please do!' And so I says to her, Galadan, I says...Blahblahblah"

"Mistress Wren, if you would do me the great favor of remaining silent as much as possible during our investigation, I would be equally appreciative. If you have something to report, you may point it out to me quietly."
Galadan turns his attention back to the marsh.
