There are 4 window seats - left, right and forward, backward facing as well as one forward and one backward facing seat.

You hear someone barking commands - but you are unable to understand them. This seems like a well planned ambush.

I recognize my alias sheet is a bit off, I need to un-update her. It'll be done tonight. Apologies.

Wren, while attempting to hook a small red feather from Plume around a loop for her brooch, stops and tilts her head as if listening to something odd.

Wrens eyes widen as words of arcane magic spring from her lips, her hands reaching for a feather on his armor, a component to the spell.

Wren acts in the surprise round, casting FeatherMage Armor on herself.

On her first round action, Wren will screech with annoyance.

"Someone used the wrong feathers for these arrows!" Wren will open a door to coach and try to find and identify their attackers.

Nym will be setting atop the coach, and spend his first action gathering and tossing down Galadan's weapons to him.


Kevin smiles at the merchant and hands him his flask. "This wont take but a moment. Please partake if you like." He exits the carriage and beems a wonderful smile at the orcs and looks back at the others. "Orcs! Living breathing orcs! Oh I will enjoy this!" He looks back at the orcs and draws his dueling sword. "Thankyou so much for the ambush. I was begining to think I would never feel my sword slice a living being again. Shall we dance?"

Kevin moves forward to melle with the orcs.

I forgot you up there ... Will give you +2 cover between the luggage - but assume you are a target now for the archers.

Nym seems to have the best overview. As everyone pours out of the right coach door he shouts an overview.

6 Orcs with short-bows ahead. They have taken out the coach driver but if he is lucky he might have survived. There is a tree blocking the way and we won't be able to turn the coach here.

The leader is on the left with three more orks ready to storm the coach. He looks like a brute and carries a large Greataxe.

(so Kevin will get the +2 - but due to the Orcs charging).  Let's not bother with higher ground and awkward fighting out of the coach and call that even.
On the right the three Orcs advance to the coach and rip open the coach door - followed by their leader in the second row.

One more arrow hits the coach driver who is unconscious or dead. Another two arrows hit Nym - one of them just missing his eye but leaving a deep bleeding wound.

The Orcs on the left seem to mock Wren - making hooting sounds like birds. There attacks seem only half hearted.

Thod, Wren is sitting in the carriage since she had to open he door for others. Does she have cover from which to cast spells? Did the Daze spell go off? If you forgot, not a big deal. Wren has more...but it might help me escape the carriage without attack from the one pestering Wren.

Round 2, Init 19

Wren will swing her head around at the orcs opening the other door (far side to her) with consternation. Move action to shut the door from her personal orc.

This is a lot of orcs.

She will pull a single polychromatic feather from her armor and flick at the 3 orcs (one of which is the leader) who opened the other door while speaking words of arcane might.

As the feather sails to the target (all around the orcs), the feather will split and split again and again. With each split they will grow smaller and smaller and gain luminescence as the grow smaller.

Cast Glitterdust at the 3 orcs (Will save DC 19).

"You will not be taking my jewelry!"

Thod: I think you got it right. :) Get the bad guys, protect the good ones. When there is no map, let that be assumed unless otherwise stated? Wren likes her 'friends' (except maybe the chinchilla...not sure about that one yet) and wants to protect them.

Correction Nym - 1 of the arrows hits (shield is up after the arrows) but only inflicts very minor damage - 1 HP. A second one hits but can't penetrate the armor.

If failure, it takes no actions and Andrea could slip free.

Edit: I'm unsure if the daze will automatically break the grapple or just prevents any further action - like Move away (what I had planned), Damage, Pin or Tie Up.
Is the action that gets prevented the grapple or is it the action that is part of the grapple. I certainly wouldn't apply the +5 bonus though for this round.

He then directs his eagle to attack another Orc...

The orderly fight of the orcs seems to have degenerated into chaos. Flachions swing through the air - but they seem to miss the will of the orc to do anything threatening. Arrows fall on the ground without hitting anyone.
Galadan is lucky to escape a vicious hit from the Orc leader who misjudges his position. A small tree next to him is felled and Galadan is sure this hit would have severed an arm or leg if it would have been him.

Will saves:
Orc 12 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (7) - 1 = 6
Orc Leader 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Orc 6 and 10 go down after there attack.

Remaining:
Orc 1 and 2 - fighting Galadan

Following-up with a blob of acid, as emphasis.

Acid Splash(ranged touch): 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13, for 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 Acid damage.


Kevin looks at Andrea and grins at her blood covered dagger. "Of course, silly me." He turns at Galadan's call and speeds away to attack.

The leader stumbles further away (retread action).
The still unhurt two bow man join him

(they are likely some 50-60 feet away from the coach now).

Left is a blinded orc at the coach - unaware what is happening around him.

Attack on Andrea 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8 damage 2d4 + 4 ⇒ (2, 3) + 4 = 9 miss 1d100 ⇒ 91

The attack goes in the right direction but misses Andrea.

Will save 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (16) - 1 = 15

I think the duration of Glitterdust expired.
You don't have to persue the fleeing orcs. They won't come back.

Oh - but whoever still wants to hack - there is the no longer blind orc 12 who is between coach and Kevin / Eagle.

Just realize - missed to write Kevin and the Eagle with help from Aldous down the two orcs who rushed to help the leader.
