Yeah. The double edged sword, being a VL and running a lot of games has left me with a ton of characters to apply chronicles to, but sometimes it's too many.

I don't know if anyone caught my frantic post edits, my apologies. I realized I couldn't do one thing, changed it, then thought I had chosen an second invalid action, changed it, realized I could in fact do the second option, changed it back ... and now we have my action.

Speaking of Powerhouses, and I don't mean mitchondria...

I hadn't looked at the brawler class much before Zurnzal. I liked the concept, but didn't have the bandwidth for another character. I figured I'd check it out when I needed a new low level martial character.

Then I saw a Zurnzal in brutal action. It certainly benefits from extensive rules knowledge, but using martial flexibility for feats like chokehold and improved dirty trick, etc make for a super cool character.

There's a reason I built my future Battle Herald with 3 levels of Brawler (Exemplar). Even giving up unarmed strike and maneuver training, martial flexibility is still pretty darn strong.

Yah, my initial reaction to Zurnzal was lukewarm, but once I started digging into the possibilities, it really started coming together.

He's been fun. I generally try to run heads-up martial characters. And I love characters who are able to apply different tactics, so a Brawler kind of fits all those bills.

He's also had pretty consistent rolls, which ALWAYS makes martial characters look like superstars.

... but yah ... dragon.

I will post Gazwyr's stats in the maps shortly so you can get a feel of what you're getting into.

I am good with rolling for it. I think that is a fantastic idea.

(The dragon will just be behind you all heavily breathing his noxious fumes everywhere like an asthmatic child.)

Lvls 6-8, or held for a lower level character as usual. Or applied to a lvl 1 with gold reduced to 500gp.
