As the other boat approaches Tsadok turns to the ship's captain. "How far would belief go with the lady Estelle, and her entourage?

While waiting on the captain's reply, he nods at Okawa, " That's a good idea but while executing it make sure they don't put one of those balistas through you."

Pointing at the retreating dwarves and their benefactor he indicates to Pea'nut to defend them. Using a swift action to apply aspect of the bat to the cat. 60' darkvision - I think don't have PRD in front of me "Pea'nut watch them! They are important."

He also loosens his great sword in its scabbard.

The captain looks at Tsadok'ul and shrugs, "Can't say I've ever been boarded by these faith barges before. Depends how gullible these lads are gonna be. They look pretty intense though, I hope your Lady has a silver tongue."

Shouts from the crew of the other ship demand that you come to a halt. The captain does his best to slow the vessel and as the barge pulls alongside the crew from the other ship casts two grappling hooks onto the Abacus and pull it closer. As the ship pulls alongside you see three Razmiri enforces a what looks like a small baboon aboard the other ship, all chattering amongst themselves. When the boat is finally adjacent the baboon leaps across to teh Abacus and scampers about while screeching triumphantly.

Meanwhile, two planks are placed from one to to the other by two of the thugs while a third guards them with a loaded crossbow.

After the planks are down the two enforcers take up short swords. One shouts over, "Ahoy there! Who are you and what business do you have on this river? How many aboard and please approach unarmed and show us your papers."

The captain looks to your group, waiting for you to answer them.

His friend Arthes, however, will move behind the rest of the party and quietly slip through the hull of the ship, then position herself directly underneath the embarking Razmirans.

The two enforces who lay down the planks come across and board the Abacus while the third keeps aim with his crossbow at the party. The one in front of Okawe holds his hands out. "What is this legitimate business you speak of? If you've a right to be here we will be on our way. How many are aboard and where are your papers?"

One enforce holds his hand out to Shambala expectantly, obviously awaiting for the papers with renewed impatience. "Let's have it now, please show me your toll papers. You would think having been stopped multiple times you would have them readily accessible by now!"

The other enforcers looks to Okawe questioningly. "I think this calls for an inspection while we wait on the papers. What do you say Kanger?" The man looks over at the baboon and nods as the baboon dances around before finally making its way to the stairs leading below. The enforcer speaks loudly, more loudly than required for those on the deck perhaps. "In the name of the Living God, Lord of the Thirty-One Steps, welcome to Razmiran! All passengers and crew have to be above deck during the inspection. Please go and get them."

Bad couple of days for me coupled with unstable forums, sorry for the delays guys - thanks for being patient.

The enforcer with the crossbow takes a step back and fires at Okawe the EnforcerSlayer, but the shot flies wide as he is a little shaken with the ferocity his companions were taken down. In a shaky voice he shouts, "I-I-in the name of the Living God, L-L-Lord of the Thirty-One Steps, I demand you put down your weapons i-i-immediately!"

The baboon jumps over to Tsadok'ul and tries to take a bit out of his thigh, but times his attack just a little too slowly and misses.

The party attempts to assault the lone enforcer without much luck. With each successive miss the enforcer gains a little bit more belief he will come out of this triumphant, but he eyes the big Osirian fighter warily as he anticipates his strike.

I'm taking Okawe's obvious action of attacking the last guard. I like to keep things moving so if we don't get a post from you in about a day I'll GMPC you as needed.

The one men wrecking ball continues his onslaught and utterly decimates the enforcer. The Osirian fight cuts the bowman down before he can even scream in pain. The last enforcer drops to the ground in a bloody mess of gore. Last enforcer is down.

Estelle swings around with her crossbow and takes a shot at the baboon, but isn't able to focus enough as the bolt slams into the ferry behind it.

The baboon bites into the half-orc's ankle, ripping away some flesh in the process. It cheers loudly as it bounces around in a circle next to his feet. 4 Damage

Enraged by the baboon's bite Tsadok readjust his grip and brings the sword around in an arc attempting to remove the baboon's head from it's shoulders. Unfortunately he nearly looses his grip on the sword and falls to one knee screaming at the baboon as it jeers at him.

usually seem to dance back and forth between good and bad rolls but this roundbof combat has just been ugly. Oh well the good ones will come eventually. The statistics prove it somewhere.

Shambala detects the presence of at least one magical aura.

Treyvn does indeed hit and slice a deep angry line across the chest of the monkey. The blow seems to have taken the majority of the baboon's will and it seems noticeably less enthusiastic then it did just moments ago.

Estelle loads up another bolt and fires at the monkey, but fails to finish it off.

Tsadok'ul and Okawe are up.

Baboon down! With a fortunate hexed strike the half-orc dispatches of the pesky creature. The party boards the ferry and proceeds to search the ship for any other hostile creatures but does not find any. In fact the ferry is sparsely equipped and obviously was spared any lavish furnishings.

Shambala follows up on his detect magic and finds that each of the three enforcers were carrying a potion of cure light wounds in addition to padded armor, a short sword, a light crossbow and a dozen bolts.

The captain yells out, obviously jesting "Great work! Now if you only could have done it on their deck so mine wasn't so bloody!"

Out of initiative! Let me know what how you want to handle the ferry that is attached to yours and the bleeding bodies.

After approaching one of the dead bodies and taking some bolts and a potion, she calls out "Sorry 'bout that Captain! I have a question. Can we weigh the ferry's anchor...if it has one...out here, so it will stay and people on shore will look and see that the ship hasn't moved so it may take a while for them to find the dead bodies? If that doesn't work, do any of you have any suggestions?"

The captain heads over to the ferry to check out its anchor. After a brief examination he nods and says, "Shouldn't be a problem. Most likely will cause some suspicion after a time." He points up a the Razmiri flag flying above.

"Looks like there is plenty of place to hide the bodies in the cabin so that that will remain out of sight for a bit."
