Mechanical note about Spell Resistance: Rather than using vanilla rules, I'd prefer that once you lower your SR, it stays down until you bring it up again.

Empheria Helbang |

I actually thought I had put an arcane tradition on the profile, but I guess I must have deleted it. I had actually taken the somatic and verbal casting drawbacks, which is the same as the sorcerous blood tradition, except that I only took the somatic drawback once, allowing me to wear light armor without arcane failure chance. Is that alright?

Empheria Helbang |

I forgot to take that into consideration regarding the shield (which has a penalty of -1). I'll remove the shield for now, but still carry it around (spare wood is always a good thing).

Andi has spell resistance. I thought it was just up all the time passively.

Avienus Corvina |

Sounds pretty good to me!

The problem with Spell Resistance is that it works against friendly spells too. You can take a standard action to lower it, allowing buffs and heals but leaving you vulnerable.
Thanks for the clarification. I've never had a character with it before... You should learn something new every day, that's what Licorice says!

Avienus Corvina |

Sorry for my slow posting. Been moving all day lol.

Avienus Corvina |

Holy crap this move is kicking my rear. This is the most time I've had conscious to even sit down on my phone to even check this place. I'm sorry for dragging things guys. I seriously didn't expect for my move to go this badly.

:)
I have a 7 year old, so I know exactly how they act. I've been hit in the face point blank with a snowball by my son multiple times, who is ordinarily a very good boy, better than most. Kids make bad decisions all the time... I hope the rest of you can make bad decisions with me!

Trace Jebadiah "TJ" Hunter |

I wanted to summon the horse in the air and drop it on the pumpkin so bad but I already killed a dog while it was sleeping in one game, I can't hurt a horse too!
I'm worried it would hold a grudge XD

It feels like we are reaching the end of the festival. Two of our party members have disappeared though. I am just wondering what the plan is going forward.
Looking forward to some danger!

GM Sappy |

There is still a bit of time, for example lunchtime, unless you'd like to skip forward a bit. Sandpoint has many nice NPCs, so I was using this quiet moment as a way to have you get to know them.
For disappearances, I'll wait until the trouble starts before marking them as properly MIA.

![]() |

I'm good with pushing the action forward, though I do want to try the stew first! Especially since it doesn't have Norah water in it. I don't know that we got to know the NPCs too much, but we did get to know each other, which was very fun.

Trace Jebadiah "TJ" Hunter |

I wouldn't mind getting raffle results and meeting up with my family for lunch :P
Trace did promise to get Venice a cookie if she didn't get one.

Trace Jebadiah "TJ" Hunter |

Ouch Andi! Lol, Venice is only a year younger than you you meany XP
I like Andi's personality though. Even if she's a bit chaotic. Make's Trace look bad, he's meant to be the Chaotic one!
I wonder where the other two went? They were meant to be fighting in a tournament. Reckon they got bored of our group not being with theirs?

![]() |

It is hard to act out alignment as kids-- kids are fickle, they go from one to the next...
As a true neutral PC, I'm trying to act Andi out as a free-spirit. Whatever she wants to do, she'll do, whether that is chaotic or good or lawful, maybe accidental even doing something evil once in a while, like I'm sure all of us do... Andi has been chaotic once in a while, but for the most part has been nice and kind, it is just that the chaotic moments are more memorable.
Hard to say why players disappear in a game. Real life gets in the way... Health issues, loss of internet.... It couldn't have been because our two groups weren't interacting, they barely had any posts.

Minodora Povalli |

I've been checking in to see if Avienus had posted yet. It was his turn in our thread. I'm thinking it's unlikely he'll be back at this point.
Without him, Minodora would be in an age tier by herself well above everyone else. I think it would be awkward to try to integrate her with the rest of the group at this point. I'm going to go ahead an bow out, but everyone enjoy the game. You all certainly are so far! Have fun and I hope it goes well.

![]() |

Obviously your decision Mindora-- but, we don't know how things are going to do down in the upcoming posts. We might get thrown together in unexpected ways! As all good adventuring parties are.

Minodora Povalli |

Thanks everyone, but there is something else as well.
I GM a Jade Regent campaign that sputtered out a couple of months ago, and we've agreed to reboot it. So I will be taking on a higher calling now :)

Avienus Corvina |

I'm sorry about that Minodora. Very few things about this move have actually worked out with no issue. Everything else has gone very very wrong to the point where if something doesn't go to crap instantly, then I'm expecting it to blow up horrendously. I suppose that I'm gonna be forced to bow out as well.

![]() |

Well, no one's forcing anyone. If both of you wanted back in and could post once a day, we want you back!

Vorin |

We're not fully flowing at once a day as it is, either. But yeah, I'd say feel free to join back in as soon as your life is able to handle it. :-)
Speaking of the fact that things are slowing down, it might actually be time to start things off. I know, personally, I'm having trouble thinking of things to post. Hopefully, we'll get a chance to meet Trace's family before too long, but it seems like we're not flowing into doing so very well right now.

![]() |

Yeah, it hasn't been once a day for about a week now because things have slowed down, we are getting to the end of things to do in the festival. I think we are just waiting for GM Sappy to start the module at this point. Hopefully Trace's family doesn't die a gruesome death, but at least that will give him some character motivation. (I kid, I kid).

Talsin Liriope |

One note for future reference. I get the option to roll initiative twice, and take either result due to my extra revelation. For ease of use, I'll probably say that if my first roll is lower than 10, I'd roll again, but I'll just not have rolled again here. I'm fine with you rolling stuff like that though, it definitely should speed things up.

Vorin |

I'm cool with you rolling the stuff like initiative. :-)
And yes, I very much enjoyed the fair stuff, and getting to meet the characters. Gives us more reason to rescue them. :-)
I'm feeling lucky that Vorin won that dagger, now. I totally forgot after posting that request to start the action last night, until just this moment, that I established that he didn't have his rapier with him. I won't have the benefit of weapon finesse, or the ability to regain panache, but that's cool. It adds more to the idea that this is a surprise. :-)
By the way, speaking of panache, how do you want to handle that? My combat Deeds both require me to declare between an enemy attack being declared and rolling. Should I declare which one I want to use ahead of time?
