hoping (because he already wears a mask) he is protected in some way, Hadjii the air elemental will cast Detect Magic, then remove this other mask -- as soon as he has the mask in hand, he'll immediately dash over everyone's heads into the long passage, and examine it:

The mask works similar to the +1 stat bump book. This one in particular will give a +1 inherent bonus to strength if worn for 24 hours. The masks contain a bit of the soul of the mummy when they were alive, so while not being a evil act it's kind of taboo to absorb it. It does give the stat bump though if you do.

as Hemket checks the sarcophagus for traps, evidently intent on opening it, Hadjii speaks up:

"If you intend to open that, Hemket, perhaps one of my lackys is best suited to the job!"

then he'll take a round to cast Summon Elemental IV -- spontaneously swapping out his prepared Atavism -- to bring forth an augmented medium earth elemental.

then we can all stand back while the elemental opens the chest...

as the elemental does so, Hadjii will ready an action to cast his last prepared Greater Dispel Magic -- just in case he sees something evil start casting...


Inner Sanctum

Not trapped.. When the elemental lifts the lid you all see the same figure as depicted in the images, except she has been held in place by hundreds of spikes. She screams in pain as you pull them from her. She looks at you from her position and you all see a flash of power in her eyes.. In an instant she moves from her torture chamber and is facing you all. Her eyes dart about and you can tell she is trying to make heads and tails of the situation..

A quick search by Hemket reveals a secret compartment in the minature city. Opening it reveals a magic scroll, two magic vials, and a spherical object, with a grip for carrying, about 1' in diameter.

The two vials and the sphere are off the charts magical.

In addition the Jin's sword, armor, and both rings are magical.

Hadjii knows the scroll is Greater Planar Binding, but he does not know what the vials or the sphere is.. The Jin's weapons is a large +5 Conductive Falchion, her armor is Celestial armor that has been dulled to look more black, and her rings are Ring of Freedom of Movement and a Ring of Major Energy Resistance(cold).

Hadjii morphs from large air elemental to his true self, and burns a Mythic point to cast Communal Share Language on Aramantha and Hemket -- so both now understand auran. He addresses Amunet-Ra in her racial tongue:

"Indeed, destroying him before a rebellion is required will save much suffering! We seek whatever aid and resources we can to prevent his rise to power..."

If Amunet-Ra seems agreeable to join us, he presents the vials and the sphere:

"Perhaps these items can aid in our quest: they seem to have powerful dwoemers. Do you recognize them?"
