I am neither a Broncos fan, nor a Carolina fan.
With that said, I was a grad student at Tennessee for Peyton's first two years there, and I have been very impressed with him over the years, so I AM a Peyton Manning fan.
I also happen to have been born in North Carolina, and attended Wake Forest for a year, so I'd not have been upset if Carolina had won either.
In the end, I figure Carolina will have other chances, but this was Peyton's last, so I am pleased with the result.
Yeah, after the year they'd had, I was willing to root for the Panthers against anyone except the Broncos. I'm not a Denver fan (I'm a Dallas local, and Cowboys fan) But I am a big fan of Peyton, and wanted to see him get another SB win, and likely go out on top.
I enjoyed spending time with the family and just snacking. I like Bruno mars on the half time show.
My father grew up in Dallas, so he raised us as Cowboys fans.

Beer salesman here, spent all last week chasing people down and dealing with last minute details for the super bowl.
Didn't watch the game at all, after running my Iron Gods table top, I was done for!

I don't often say this on these forums (never sure of others stances, and wouldn't want to offend people), but I will be praying for your father-in-law. Hey guys. I'm sorry for the lack of progress, but RL is being a pain these days. My family and I are going through a lot of stuff and transitions lately, and I can't juggle all of what's on my plate right now.
I am really sorry, but I figured I'd let you know rather than you think I just up and poofed. Hope you all find other, better GMs in the future.
Real life is more important, so don't worry, and I hope everything works out.
