Silver Crusade

Rival explorers have beaten the Pathfinders to a valuable site in Katapesh, but fortunately most of the riches—including the obscure text the Society sought in the first place—have ended up in the capitol’s extensive bazaars. What is at first a routine shopping trip spirals out of control as the PCs uncovers the writing’s secret past—and secret messages.

Hi everyone,

I'm going to offer a Core table of the first scenario of Season 7. This is a tier 1-5 scenario. I'd slightly prefer to run the high tier for a bit of variety versus how I ran in person, though I'm open to either.

This scenario would begin September 19.

Please let me know if there are any other questions.

Thanks!

Liberty's Edge

Character Name: Ghrdn
Player Name: Ian Shannon
Race/Class/Level: Dwarf Ranger 3
Faction: Liberty's Edge
Character Number: 94304-14

Ghrdn is a switch hitter who uses a war axe and javelins. He has been through the first two levels of The Emerald Spire.

The Exchange

Taidus Raine
PFS # 63386-17
Faction: Exchange
Human Monk 1--Switch Hitter (can throw shuriken or punch things really hard)

Sovereign Court

Hmmm... Well, to make this table viable, I would be willing to join - I can only bring a 1st or 2nd level PC, though :-/

I can tank is needed, but I suspect that you response is based more on the DM's desire to play high tier.

Sovereign Court

I'd like to Join if we end up in the upper tier.

Level 4 dwarf monk.

Shadow Lodge

Hey, I'd be interested in this, as a Core run.

I can bring one of two 3rd level core PFS PCs.

Silver Crusade

So far, it looks like we have the following interest:
High Tier:
Doubtful: Monk 4

Mid Tier:
Wakedown: TBD 3
Ghrdn: Ranger 3

Low Tier:
Luke Parry: TBD 1-2
Taidus Raine: Monk 1

If low tier ends up having stronger interest, we'll end up going that way. Most of the core offerings seemed to be 1-2, so I thought I'd try to open up a different option.

This scenario can be relatively RP heavy if people want to get into that sort of thing, and a couple of encounters can be a bit involved. Still, I'll be aiming to wrap things up in time for 11/5, and the start of the multi-table special. It does seem to run fairly quickly in person, though I don't know how that tends to transfer to PBP.

I should play with yable bard level 1

Dark Archive

Interested to play with a level one or two

I can help out your high tier quest.

I have a CORE bard 4

Silver Crusade

Ok, so if we were to go high, we'd have two level 4, two level 3 right now. If Luke Parry and Ilmakis joined with level 2's, we'd be at an average of 3 exactly. That would mean tier 4-5 with the 4 player adjustment. How would people feel about that?

I think level 2's would generally be OK in the adjusted combats, though crits and such do happen. Level 1 is probably a bit too squishy.

Dark Archive

I'm not worried about playing up.
My available characters are a cleric (not a healer) and a wizard.

Sovereign Court

up with the 4 player adjust would be fine by me.
But I'm not the lower level fellow... so I suppose I'm not the one to ask =)

... I like to take risk, i could also change yâble to be more durable.

Fine by me.

Sovereign Court

Hmmm... If my lvl 2 archer is free by then, I'll play that. Otherwise, I'll bring a pregen :-)

Silver Crusade

Gayel, I'm sorry but I'm going to opt for higher level characters. Still looking forward to meeting Yable in Siege of Serpents, though!

We'll be taking the following party:

Doubtful: Monk 4
Pirate Rob: TBD 4
Ghrdn: Ranger 3
Wakedown: TBD 3
Ilmakis: TBD (Cleric or Wizard) 2
Luke_Parry: Archer 2 or Pregen 4

I'll open up gameplay and discussion threads in case you want to dot in. We won't start until 9/19, but you're welcome to do IC intros if you feel so inclined. Consider yourselves on a slow boat from Absalom to Katapesh.

Shadow Lodge

My two choices are a Cleric 3 or Melee Wizard 3. Rob, whatcha got? I'm leaning towards the melee since we're shockingly light at this stage.

Silver Crusade

Rob's an Archer Bard (checked in in Discussion). Ilmakis is a Level 2 Cleric of Norgorber. Shh!. The Ranger is a switch hitter, so between him and the Monk there's a bit of melee to be had.

If you're still indecisive, I'd say that Dark Archive, Exchange, and Grand Lodge would be the most thematically appropriate factions.

Silver Crusade

E'li is a warpriest slinger.

Silver Crusade

E'li Unfortunately, this game is both full and part of the Core campaign, which means a Warpriest is not eligible to play. If you do have a Core character, I'd be happy to consider you as a backup.

Silver Crusade

I have a lvl 1 cleric of Shelyn and level 1 dragon blooded sorcerer who might be ready by then.

Silver Crusade

The sorcerer is ready if you need an alternate.
