Also, I realized I forgot to include this here:
Hello everyone,
At the encouragement of Jesse Davis, the online VC, I wanted to share a bit of information about how some of the procedures will work for this, as every convention has slightly different policies, especially as this one is online.
Attendance: You are expected to actively participate in this scenario for its entire duration.
Naturally, real life frequently creates hurdles for gaming. If you expect there is a 48 hour period or more when you will be unable to post, please let me know. You won't be penalized for absences I'm informed about. Your character will likely be auto-piloted. If for some reason you will be unable to complete the scenario, please let me know as soon as possible, and we'll work to accommodate that.
If I don't hear from you in seven days or two encounters (whichever comes first), I reserve the right to remove you from the game. You will receive a chronicle with rewards appropriate for the portions of the scenario you participated in. If at least three encounters remain, a new player may be brought in, otherwise a pregen will step in.
Reporting and Chronicles: As soon as this scenario is done, I will report the results. Chronicles will most likely be uploaded to Google Drive, which will allow you to download and print them.
So that I'm not having to track people down after the fact, I'd appreciate if you make sure your PFS # is easy for me to access. Most of you have already done that at this table. Thank you!
Boons and Prizes: Once we complete the scenario, I will make a post with one D20 roll for each player, as well as one for myself. No rerolls may be used here under any circumstances. Each result of a natural 1 or natural 20 will earn the right to select one of 7 convention boons. Race boons are not included in these selections. Text of boons will be provided to winners to allow for a decision to be made.
Additionally, every week, two players in the gameday will be randomly selected by Gameday coordinators to win a $5 Paizo gift card. One GM per week will be randomly selected to win a $10 gift card.
Please let me know if there are any questions about these policies.

As a quick note, my wife is due with our first child in late October. I'm hoping the game goes quickly and it's not even an issue but I may have to suddenly disappear for a few days late in October. I'll do my best to inform.

Character Name: Imrana Reza
Faction: Scarab Sages
Character Number: 99807-14
Day Job: Craft (book-binding): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27

![]() |

Congratulations, Rob :)
If you say it's not flavorful or challenging, GM, I'll trust your judgment!

![]() |

Congrats Rob!
For the record, the optional encounter was a shadow conjuration glass golem. Three shadow fights seems excessive to me, as the gimmick starts to wear thin.
As you might suspect, we're pretty much done with this scenario, with only a little bit of wrap-up left. As such, there's quite a few points of business to handle. But first, I wanted to say that I've really enjoyed running this game for you guys, and I hope you've enjoyed it as well.
Day Jobs: Imrana and Jair have already rolled day jobs. If anyone else has them, now would be a good time to roll.
Chronicles: Since Google Drive seems to be working well for people, I'm planning to upload the chronicles as PDFs.
Boons: Here are the boon rolls. Natural 1s and Natural 20s win a boon.
GM: 1d20 ⇒ 11
Amiri: 1d20 ⇒ 3
Doubtful: 1d20 ⇒ 19
Dunkel: 1d20 ⇒ 16
Feighllaro: 1d20 ⇒ 8
Imrana: 1d20 ⇒ 8
Jair: 1d20 ⇒ 14
Nobody's a winner :(
Faction Cards: The following goals (from the season 7 versions of the cards) were achieved. You're welcome to try any others you find appropriate (such as the various goals related to recruiting individuals). Just make an IC post about it when you return to your real body. I may also have missed some. If there's something that you think you accomplished, let me know and I'll try to confirm that.
Moving On: I'm running a few more games coming up. They're all mostly spoken for, but I'd give you all preference if they end up with vacancies. Unfortunately, they're all 1-2 tier. I'll be running 0-02: The Hydra's Fang Incident and 6-97: Siege of Serpents in Core mode, and 6-10 Wounded Wisp in Standard.
Alternatively, if enough people are interested in another game (either with these characters or others), I can run another with you guys. I'm open to suggestions as to what scenario we might run. I'd also be happy to run a standard game if you'd prefer using different characters. If you're interested, let me know and we can start talking about scenario options.

Huh.. .thought I'd filled in that stuff already.. too many games, they all kind of get intermingled!
Name: Aaron
PC: Doubtful
PC# 84637-14
Faction: Sovereign Court
Day Job: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16
Ya, nothing seems to apply, faction journal-wise. Not the first time =)
I had alot of fun on this one. PbP was the way to go here, lots more options to describe stuff to make that Dreamscape portion and the Aeon suitably bizarre
I'm already your Siege of Serpents core game =)
Am always open to other games (with this or other pc's).

I very much enjoyed that scenario, thank you GM!. It was a good opportunity for me to really get Imrana's kinda spacey, overly intellectual attitude across.
She just hit 3 actually. I would be up for another scenario on her or my core ranger. We don't get much core locally.
Oh, and Dunkel and I need to share spellbooks, methinks!

![]() |

Dunkel, you listed the Exchange as your faction on the signups, but you have a Sovereign Court symbol next to your name. Please let me know which is correct.
As for a next scenario, here's a few ideas:
If people were interested in something Halloween themed, 0-06 Black Waters, 6-06: Hall of the Flesh Eaters, or 7-05: School of Spirits would be good fits.
A couple other options would be 6-08: The Segang Expedition or 7-07: Trouble in Tamran. I'll do the first one to get a couple votes in favor and no posts in opposition.

![]() |

we're you pondering Core or regular?
Black Waters I've played in both.
School of Spirits and Segang I've played in regular.
So I'd have to go with 6.06 or 7.07 ... but Hall of the Flesh Eaters sounds fun.
As an aside, if you are pondering suitable scenarios for the halloween season... Traitor's Lodge can be super creepy... though that ones a 3-7.

Standard Pregen |

Halloween-themed sounds like a good idea, to me :-)
School of Spirits (preferred), but I could also work with Hall of the Flesh Eaters, if that receives more votes.
I have played Black Waters.

![]() |

My thought was Core so you'd be able to stick with these characters if you want. I haven't played or run Traitor's Lodge yet, so I'd prefer to do something I've done on at least one side of the table (with extra credit if I already own it). 3-21 Temple of Empyreal Enlightenment is another appropriate one that fits both of the above.

![]() |

The only one of those scenarios I've played in core is Black Waters, so I'd be good in anything.

![]() |

Am currently playing Traitor's Lodge in a pbp game, but GM'd it the other day at my local game store. The players described it as American Horror Story: Pathfinder... not sure what that meant exactly (not watching the show) ... but it was quite disturbing at times ... even more so if the GM really works the descriptive stuff well. I think it might play well in a pbp.
Anyway, if you're aiming at Core, then only Black Waters is off the table for me.
Though think I'd prefer Flesh Eaters or Empyreal Enlightenment in that context.

Perform Keyboard Day Job: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (13) + 11 = 24
20gp.
Checking off non-violent encounter resolution.
Thank you so much for running, sorry about falling off on my posts there towards the end.

![]() |

I love The Traitor's Lodge, particularly Valais. I actually made her as a PC because I like playing her personality so much :)

![]() |

Assuming nobody else objects, we'll go with Hall of the Flesh Eaters. Of course, we still need to get out of this mindscape first!
I believe Dunkel still needs to give me a day job check.
Edit: This scenario is reported. Chronicles are HERE. Let me know if there's any issues accessing them or anything I messed up on them. Dunkel's will be added once I have all the information I need.
Edit2: The first link just led to Imrana's chronicle. It should now lead to all of them.

Just catching up! 17 posts in the OOC forum.
Yes, Dunkel took advantage of the free faction change during season 6 and converted to Exchange so he could sell his diggin' services once I realized how obsessed he was with them.
Once he's back home, he will work to craft the perfect tunnel:
Day Job: Craft (stonemasonry): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23
I'd be interested in Core Flesh Eaters. And absolutely interested in Core Trouble at Tamran, as I'm sure Imrana is, as well. :)
Also, amazing game. Well done, I'll gladly sign up for more with GM Lari and the players any day.
And lastly, Dunkel's still working his Season 6 faction card and I assume he's good to check off a visit to Katapesh (item #5) on the card.

@Imrana: Dunkel's spells are at the end of his profile page
Dunkel will learn cause fear, color spray ray of enfeeblement & true strike from Imrana's book. 4 spells = 40gp.

![]() |

@Dunkel Cool!
She will learn Enlarge Person, Shocking Grasp, Comprehend Languages, and Expeditious Retreat, also 40 gp.
Also, Dunkel is totally right in that we would both be up for Trouble in Tamran :D
(Though I'm fine with all of the choices as well)

![]() |

I'm ok to continue with Jair with you :)
Flesh Eaters is good for me !
@GM will use my Shirt Reroll for my Day Job Day Job (librarian): 1d20 + 8 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 8 + 4 = 31
Will add Recovered a named text for my Faction

![]() |

Jair has a new sheet added with the new day job result. Everyone's sheets should be up there and correct now
Dunkel, yes, that's fine. I just only checked the season 7 edition of the cards.
Would I be correct in assuming that this is the current status of scenario preference?
Hall of the Flesh Eaters: Doubtful, Amiri, Jair
Trouble in Tamran: Imrana, Dunkel
I'll open up a new thread for either soon. It'd be great to get a solid majority one way or the other. If it helps narrow things down, Flesh Eaters is more of a horror themed exploration, while Trouble is more of a social investigation.
Yes, it will be part of the Gameday, assuming we finish by the end (Dec 20). That shouldn't be a problem for either scenario.
